I believe this has to to with the settings for Javascript. Those settings aren.t easy to access in the most recent Firefox 24.0 version. Help me, please.

The settings for Javascript are either on or off, Fireefox 24 doesn't give you a option to turn off Javascript, unless you installed something like NoScript extension (or some other Javascipt blocking add-on)
If NoScript, then you need to use the View > Toolbars > Customize and drag the NoScript "Temp Allow All" button to the toolbar area to enable all enabled scripts (including Javascript) on that web page.
Under the Firefox Help menu is a option to restart with add-ons disabled to see if something you might have installed is causing your problem.
Reinstall Firefox or create another user account and run Firefox there to try to localize your issue.
I'm having no problem here on 10.6.8 in Firefox, Chrome or Safari, Yahoo Mail works perfectly.

Unless your HP printer is an AirPrint-ready device, just connecting it to the USB port of the AirPort Express base station will not make it so.
On the other hand, connecting a non-AirPrint printer to the base station's USB port it can be shared out by the base station's print server. Please see the following Apple Support article for details.

Sorry for hijacking your thread as put by Dahveed. However I have resolved my issue so I thought I'll share it with the rest of you.
I checked for the error 3194 in youtube and I found some good videos that tell you how to resolve the problem. The issue I was facing was the actually (I know because I have resolved it now) the communication between my computer and apple server which can be fixed as following (if you are using windows):
There is file in following directory:
C:\Windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
The file normally has no extension and it is in file format. You need to open it and make sure that every line that has apple server id starts with "#". In my case one of the line started directly with the ip address and then gs.apple.com.
Perform your restore/update after that and hopefully it should be resolved (mine did).

You'll have to describe in detail the workflow you're using to upload to Machighway and any messages/warnings that you get along the way. Also what version of iWeb are you using and are you publishing just one of your sites?

Fonts Do Not Display Correctly in Safari and Firefox

Certain fonts do not display smoothly in Safari and Firefox. They appear to have little pieces of the letters missing. I'm sure others have experienced this problem before but I could not find how to fix this. On the Apple Discussions the fonts look fine... on Google for example, they look messed up. I do not know specifically which font(s) are displayed weird but it happens frequently. This happens in Safari and Firefox on my MacPro and MacBookPro. Is there a setting to fix this?

Look for Helvetica Fractions and Times Phonetic Fonts, if you have them,
they can be the usual suspects.
Check the Text encoding in both Safari & FF, under the "View" menu.
In System preferences-> Personal (top section) in Appearance tab->
on the last portion of the panel Font smoothing Style: set that to Automatic

Look into this application to find any corrupt font[s]Font Finagler

Popup blocker keeps losing my "exceptions" to websites. every day I have to go back in and enter the exceptions. This has only happened with the last two Firefox versions.

I go to "tools" then popup blocker "exceptions". (I have the block popups checked.) When I enter "www.paypal.com" and add it in, everything is OK for about 12 hours (or less). I will check to see if the exception is still there within 12 hours and there is nothing in my exceptions. I have added as many as three exceptions entered only to have them all disappear within a few hours.
This severely cramps my attempt to print shipping labels on the PayPal website.
I thought this latest version of Firefox cured the issue, but it did not.

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" in "Clear Recent History" will remove exceptions that are stored in content-prefs.sqlite (site specific settings for zoom) and permissions.sqlite (exceptions for images, cookies, pop-ups, software; Tools > Page Info > Permissions) in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder].
The password exceptions (Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Show Passwords) are also removed from signons.sqlite.

After installing the latest update to itunes, and my ipod, I can no longer sync my computer and my ipod nomatter what I do. I have tried everything I know and can read. I am beginning to think it has something to do with the password that I changed, but I tried to change it back and nothing happens. Does anybody have any suggestions. I have been working on this for three hours and I can't figure it out? Apple is no help and it was their updates that messed the whole thing up.

Expanding on what Tim said to make sure it's clear, only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked can authorize unlocking. If Optus is the original carrier, as would seem to be the case, O2 would not be able to unlock it. Only Optus can authorize the unlock, so you'll need to contact them. They say, though, that only the account holder can apply for unlocking, so you might not be able to get it unlocked and will have to work through the person from whom you bought the iPhone.

I just recieved my Iphone yesterday, and today I was reading somthing off of Safari and recieved "error:there was a problem communicating with the secure web proxy server (HTTPS)" .Now I get this whenever I try opening any of my apps. Even my facebook app

I have never done this before so I do not know if I am even doing this correctly. Anyways, I cleared my history and cookies! I even deleted many apps thinking it might of been from them. I have even turned my phone off for a good thirty minutes. THe last thing I did was set my network settings to default.
I dont know what to do. Since I changed my network settings to default I turned my phone off again. I might just restore all setting to default and go from there..and if this doesnt work, I will just return the iphone for a different one I guess.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I think this has to do with the installation.....

I have a problem with running a java file. I used to have win98 ans JDK/SDK1.3.1. This worked fine.
Now I use winXP and JDK/SDK 1.4.1
The same java-docs don't run anymore (allthough they are compiled okay).
Maybe some things that might help for this problem to know:
When I type "java" in the (dos)prompt, it doesn't give any error.
In an earlier post here, I read that I needed to remove some keys via regedit. So I did (removed everything that had to do with version 1.3)
The error I see when I try the file to run in the program 'Textpad',is:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: MyFrame1
Exception in thread "main"
Tool completed with exit code 1
I really don't know what is wrong anymore...... PLease can anyone help me?

Try moving the existing backup file to a save location and try again. It is located here:

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I'm using a new Wordpress theme that is meant to be responsive. The large image is for a header, than you scroll down to see the rest, one by one. Some one the pages work OK on my iPad, typically the old ones where the maximum image size was 500 x 500. It's the new pages and those I've updated that are causing the problem. On the iPad the large image loads, then a couple of the small ones become visible as I scroll down, but then darkness (rather like my knowledge level).
Being new to IOS and iPads, I'm trying to work out whether I should be looking here, or amongst the Wordpress stuff for a solution.

Help - Pages have different lengths in Safari (and Chrome) vs Firefox

I have a website created with iWeb '09 that contains some rather long HTML tables that I inserted using HTML snippets. These tables display properly in Safari v 5.0.2 and Chrome (6.0.472.59), but get cut off at the bottom when I use Firefox 3.6.9.

I had the same problem... I am using phpbb3 table/message-forums on my site, and used an iframe that I found on a youtube instructional video, and it worked fine on safari and chrome, but the forum/table was only like 3 inches long on firefox.
I tried the code in the response above in place of my original iframe code:
<iframe height="XXXpx" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="width:XXXpx;border:none" src="URL TO ITEM TO BE EMBEDDED"></iframe>
and I entered the same height/width dimensions from my original iframe and ended up with an even smaller table. So I went back to my original iframe code and made the height 1500px instead of 100% which is below:
