HTA VBS errors in WinPE are blank! Why?

Hi folks,
I have an HTA which has some VBS.
Whenever I get a script error, a blank dialog box appears. Blue top bar, with an X, no text, and a large white box, no text or buttons.
The WinPE version we are using, if I type VER, is 6.1.7600.
Any ideas why this happens... and how to fix it? Would be really handy to know what line my script errors occur on. At the moment I have to put msgbox's in to try to catch where the error lies.

The same problem happens if I present a button in HTML and fire the function that way. It is not related to the onload event. Regardless of whether it's a button trigger or an onLoad trigger (or any other event), the error appears in Windows 7, but not Windows
PE. I just used the onLoad event in my example to show a quick issue without any interaction.

As you mentioned, platform sensitive. Something that runs in Windows 7 may not run in WinPE due to missing
components and other issues. I need to debug in PE for the solutions I am creating.

Doesn't help my issue here. My question remains; I'm trying to find the answer to a specific question,
not workarounds or alternatives.

I'm not deploying anything... but I would be happier to post in a PE forum if there is one as this isn't
particularly a scripting issue (there is no code problem). Would you regard the deployment forum a PE forum? If so, I'll move over there. Otherwise, do you have a better suggestion that would act as a PE forum?

Having trouble viewing photos in Picasa Web albums. When I upload them from my Picasa program to the web, some do not get loaded. Lots of blanks between photos.
Help from Picasa told me It was a problem with Mozilla Firefox to "Right-click the placeholder of. browser, however, I have been unable to do this.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

GUI Unresponsive, some windows are blank, why?

Taking my first steps in Solaris - SXCE on a new Ultra 40. So far the SunStudio interface has been very buggy for me. I need some help getting SunStudio(any) AND NetBeans (6.01) installed cleanly and working correctly.
While installing SS12 the interactive-installer window would pop-up fine, but totally blank, no text, buttons or anything would render in the window. Had to use the CLI installer. Then decided to replace with SS-Express to get NB-6.01. The uninstaller kept doing the same thing. Think I uninstalled all of SS12 with 'prodreg' but not really sure. it was a mess...
Installed SS-Express and at least once the 'auto-update' window similarly failed to render correctly. Also the GUI is now SLOW. Like pull down the side-scroll bar on the start-page and it will happen 10 seconds later. All other desktop apps remain fully responsive..Noticed 'Java' was using lots of CPU while this was happening.
I'm at a loss, so any help is appreciated!

This kind of blitting occurs when one attempts to draw translucent images, including
anti-aliased text.
The last time I saw this was in a version of nb 6.1 (post SunStudio12 express release)
in the welcome page. Note how the stack trace shows that it's the welcome page being repainted.
But it only was noticable if you xhosted which drastically
reduces the latency of the x protocol. I'm surprised that this is happenning in non-networked X.
To verify the above please uncheck the "always show" checkbox in the welcome page, close it and
see if things improve.
There is a fix for this problem with the welcome page. While you verify I'll
try and see which version it's in and how we can get this fix out.

From some reason (i'm not sure why..) my whole iphoto library got deleted. I restored the whole library from my backup. The photos are blank but steel have the photo info. (date, res., size etc.) Do you know what's the prob.? why can't i see my pics.

The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
I restored the whole library from my backup.
Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced? If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.

What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded? Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I downloaded an iBook but the first 8 chapters are blank with an error of rendering message

I down loaded an iBook and th first 8 chapters are blank and the pages have a rendering error. I have rebooted and sometimes get part of the pages then they disappear when I go forward or back.

Have you tried deleting the book and re-downloading it ? If it's the only book that you've got in the iBooks app then you could try deleting the app and re-downloading that and the book.

Try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.

Top Site previews are blank or black. Why?

I have reset Safari and emptied the cache. My top sites were then pages Safari already had loaded. I have my own top sites saved, but they are blank black screens. It has never done this. Please help! Thanks for your responses.

If you selected, "Reset TopSites" from the Safari > Reset window, that automatically deletes all the previews.
You may need to re add the sites back in again > How to manage Safari's Top Sites
If you have problems adding sites to TopSites, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Safari
Click Go
Move the TopSites.plist file from the Safari folder to the Trash.
See if that made a difference...

Some input dialogs are blank - no cursor, but chrome ok - why?

I am trying to set dialogs in a JomSocial profile edit page. Some dialogs are editable, and others are blank and apparently don't accept input. When this is done using Chrome, there is no problem.

Can you try in safe mode?

Not opening all my previously opened windows, many are blank!

Why does Safari randomly choose not to open all my previously open windows? Sometimes up to half the tabs/windows show up BLANK.
Often, I'll see the headings written in the tabs in the toolbars, but when I go to them, they are blank, and I must re-enter the page name manually, do a search, then load the correct one. Other times it will just be blank (usually when it's a single window, since the page name is not in the tab toolbar. WHY is it doing this?
Will clearing past history remove the ability to open a window that is open when I close Safari?

Context = this problem has nothing to do with images. The blank pages contain no content at all, no source code. There is simply nothing to reload.
They have headers only, which safari seems to remember separately as tab info. The rest is gone.
I've deleted caches through prefs and developers tools. All the other tabs refresh. The "random", ones stripped of their URLs, do not.
So what is causing this? Is there a pattern? Why are only certain pages effected (some identical to the healthy tab next to it)? Are they cloned tabs? Is it plug-in related? Google searches? Old searches? Why are they flushed from recent history? Does it relate to icloud synching errors? Is the content actually lost during "sleep" mode or application launch?
Has anyone really posted a fix for this?

Saxman, do you keep multiple pages of multiple tabs open every day? I do. Are some of them reduced in the dock? Are they google search results? New or reloaded every day?
Next time this happens to you, check to see if that blank page is still in your deep history list. (We know that "reload tab" does not work). In the history menu, choose "show top sites". Then click the history button to view all your pages in cover-flow view. Is the url info still there? (You can use the search function here as well).
Do any of the questions I've posted ring a bell?

Templates are blank now, worked before...

All of a sudden when I open Pages the templates are blank. When I click on one of the blank templates, I get an error message. I just moved accross country and my disks are packed somewhere that I can't easily get to. I have the retail license code for my software, but don't know what I can do. Any suggestions??? I don't want to have to spend another 80 bucks on this program, but I need it asap. Why would this happen and what can I do? Any suggestions will help

The message simply says "The template "blank document" could not be opened"...it says the same thing for each template I try to open, such as "The template "evalutation document" could not be opened". Keynote works just fine, but Pages doesn't work at all. I can open up an old pages document that I saved and use it to just type a basic letter, but can't open a new document at all. I'm just trying to open new documents to create a newsletter. I guess I'll most likely have to go to an apple store and explain this to them.

Yes, it doesn't work. I ran in safe mode. nothing changed. I uninstalled Mozilla firefox with only standard removal, no change. I finally uninstalled Mozilla with complete removal and reinstalled it, then it return to normal. Why does this happen? Thanks for your reply.

Z1-015 Error "Enter Business Area" in BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE

Hi All, 
Here is a scenario that has totally confused me and I don't know what to do. Any guidance in this area will be highly appreciated. 
I am using BAPI BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE for MIRO. Our client gets invoices that contains both PO lines and some Non PO lines. For the PO lines I am populating the BAPI_INCINV_CREATE_ITEMDATA table and for the non po lines I am populating the BAPI_INCINV_CREATE_GL_ACCOUNTDATA table. In the structure BAPI_INCINV_CREATE_GL_ACCOUNT I am also populating the Bus_Area field with the Business Area value along with other values. The header Bus_Area is also populated with business area code. 
However, when I try to post the invoice the bapi return me a message: Z1 015 "Enter Business Area" and the invoice does not get booked in SAP, 
I have tried searching this forum and also googled about it, but I got no help in this regard. Please help me out in understanding this problem. I am attaching the code below for ease of understanding my problem. I am using SAP .Net Connector for the purpose. However, any guide related to this error (may not be .Net specific) will be appreciated.

Hi,
This error was mis leading. If CalculateTax flag is set to 'X' and there is balance in the transaction currency then, instead of giving "Balance in transaction currency" error "Enter Business Area" error comes.
There must be some logic for SAP to give this error, but it was somewhat misleading. When i removed the flag for CalculateTax="", this error vanished and "Balance in transaction currency" error came. When I retrified that my invoice got booked properly.

PDF's are blank in Preview

I hope this is an appropriate place to post this question...
I have come across some PDF files that when opened in Preview are blank. The number of pages will be correct, but each page is blank. I can open these PDF's just fine using Adobe's Acrobat Reader, however I prefer to use Preview for its speed and simplicity. Does anyone have any idea why some PDF's are blank when opened using Preview? I want to note that one of the PDF's that I tried to open recently did not have anything special about (no forms, no extra JavaScript), it was just a plain old PDF. Any ideas?

A form has to be saved in Preview in order for it to be corrupted, not merely opened. What OS is used when opening a corrupted PDF in Reader/Acrobat doesn't matter.
