HTML tag list

Hello,
Any one knows where I can get a list of HTML tags supported in JTextPane or JEditorPane? This will be very useful to avoid coding unsupported HTML contents.
Thanks in advance.

hi!
have you seen this class
javax.swing.text.html.HTML.Tag?

    While typing out code in DW MX 2004 and 8.0.2, it pulls the

    in a drop box to

    However while coding I saw 2 tags that I have never heard of
    and cannot find
    using Google or on the HTML tag list.

    Does anyone know what these tags do and how do you use them.

    I know these are non-standard tags that are used in
    ModelGlue, BitTorrents, etc.
    They are not tags recognized by html or any standard browser.
    They are also not in any dreamweaver 8 installation at my
    company.
    Best to ignore unless you encounter an application that uses
    them.

  • List of stripped HTML-Tags in Publication Mode

    Hi,
    I'm doing some research about the printing abilities of MDM PCM.
    For this reason im searching for the HTML-Tags which are stripped out in the different Modes (especially Publication Mode)
    I got a hind in "MDM Data Manger Reference Guide" on Page 521, that HTML tags are stripped out, but I can't find a List with the tags.
    Regards
    Christoph Kohler

    Hi Christoph,
    In terms of properly viewing HTMLs in the publication modes, there is actually a small piece of intermediary software that is available to our customers who use MDM to publish catalogs. It is called the HTML filter. Basically what it does is translate your HTMLs to tags that may be read by the publication modes. Tags that are supported by this filter are:
    attributesStr << " border-top-style:solid; border-top-color:black; border-top-width:" << borderWidth << "pt;";
    attributesStr << " border-left-style:solid; border-left-color:black; border-left-width:" << borderWidth << "pt;";
    attributesStr << " border-bottom-style:solid; border-bottom-color:black; border-bottom-width:" << borderWidth << "pt;";
    attributesStr << " border-right-style:solid; border-right-color:black; border-right-width:" << borderWidth << "pt;";
    attributesStr << " font-style:italic;";
    attributesStr << " font-weight:bold;";
    attributesStr << " font-size:" << dFontSize << "pt;";
    attributesStr << " font-family:" << fontFamily << ";";
    attributesStr << " text-align:" << textAlign << ";";
    attributesStr << " vertical-align:top;";
    attributesStr << " vertical-align:middle;";
    attributesStr << " vertical-align:bottom;";
    attributesStr << " background-color:" << bgColor << ";";
    attributesStr << " vertical-align:sub;";
    attributesStr << " vertical-align:super;";
    Hard coded table attributes are
    cleansedHtmlStr += StringNL("<table cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" style=\"border-collapse:collapse\"");
    The table cells support rowspan and colspan attributes.
    <br/> is used for hard returns.
    tags that are picked out of the source HTML are:
    mainTags.push_back(StringNL("table"));
    mainTags.push_back(StringNL("#text")); //meaning any text outside of the table
    mainTags.push_back(StringNL("br"));
    These three types of objects are represented in the filtered HTML with style attribute markup.
    For example, #text is filtered to <span style = "font-family:Helvetica; font-size:7pts;"><p>my text</p></span>
    The use of this filter is a temporary workaround. Development is planned to incorporate this process into the Data Manager so that the user will eventually have the option of creating HTML "variants" similar to the variants that can currently be created for images. This way, you will be able to store a version of the HTML code that is appropriate for both web and print.
    Please contact me directly via email [email protected] for further information regarding this issue.
    Hope this is helpful,

  • Issue with HTML tags visible in Outlook emails

    Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with a website I'm working on.
    On our site, we have a page that generates emails after certain events occur. These are sent to a forwarding address on our mail server, which is then sent to several users on our mail server. These users have their accounts set up in Outlook (one in 2007,
    one in Mac 2011).
    We're are having an issue where these emails are displaying in Outlook with all of the HTML tags in the email visible. One of the users spoke to Microsoft support, and they remoted in and went through their Outlook settings and were not able to find any issues
    there.
    This issue is not global exactly. When one of the users added their email to their iPhone, the email displayed correctly. We added a Gmail account and my work account (which I also access through Outlook) to the forwarding list, and it displayed correctly in
    both. When we view these emails in the server's webmail client, the emails display fine. The issue seems to be with some discrepancy between Outlook and our email server.
    I spoke to our webhost about the issue, and they swore up and down the issue had nothing to do with them, and that it had to be an Outlook issue. I've had several professional web developers analyze the code that creates these emails, and they found nothing
    wrong with it. Something that several of my colleagues and our webhost suggested is that the issue could be with the email headers. This is the header for the email, as viewed through Outlook:

  • How to remove html tags from a column

    Hi
    Problem is this: I get a column with a comma separated list of id's and I can successfully parse these id's and use them elsewhere. BUT, occasionally there are html tags within that id list like this:
    1082471,1237423<br xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" />
    Is there a way to just automatically remove all tags from a column? Could do this with regex, but since there is no support, I don't know what to do.

    Hi,
    If the HTML can be detected by a starting symbol like „<“, then you could use the following:
    Unfortuntely the operation “ReplaceRange” is only available on a Text-level, so you have to invoke a function (at least to my knowledge). You also need an Index-column in your table, so if you don’t have it, you need to create one as well.
    This is your function:
    let
       fnRemoveHTML = (Value, Index) =>
    let
       Source = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Tabelle1"]}[Content],
       IndeNo = Index,
       Value_ = Source{IndeNo-1}[Value],
       length = Text.Length(Text.From(Value_)),
       position = Text.PositionOf(Text.From(Value_), "<"),
       range = length-position,
       new= if Value_ is number then Value_ else Text.ReplaceRange(Value_, position, range, "")
    in
        new
    in
      fnRemoveHTML
    And this is how you invoke it:
    let
        Quelle = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Tabelle1"]}[Content],
        Last = Table.AddColumn(Quelle, "Custom", each fn_RemoveHTML([Value], [Index])),
        ChangedType = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Last,{{"Custom", type number}})
    in
        ChangedType
    Provided your table is called “Tabelle1” & the column with your values to be replaced “Value” & your index-col “Index”

  • TFS 2012 - WI Query in TFS Web Access - History field contents appear with html tags presented as text

    When History field is selected as a column to be displayed in a WI query result, its contents are displayed with the HTML tags as if they where text, e.g. <p> contents </p>...
    This occurs when query is run in web access contents in IE and when result is sent via email from within TFS (there's a button for this purpose).
    However, in Visual Studio 2012 the same History Column contents are shown without the tags, as one would expect.
    Furthermore, when one clicks on Open In Microsoft Office, for this query results in VS, and selects result in Excel, the History column in the Excel appears empty.
    The only way we found to bypass this issue for now, it to mark all the query result lines in VS, and right click for "print selected list..." to a virtual PDF printer. This way the result looks reasonably ok when History field is included.
    Kindly advise, Thank u very much.

    Hi Moital,
    Thanks for your post.
    As far as I know history content will display with the HTML tags if there’s multiple lines in content, and History content not support show in Excel, that’s by design in TFS Server.
    As Clementino said, you can submit this scenario in connect site, Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously.

    You can't send HTML email right from Flash. You will need to
    use a
    server-side script that adds the necessary headers into the
    email.

  • HTML Tags in data field

    Does Documaker support reading and applying HTML tags in data fields? For example, we are publishing a list of questions that are being passed to me from the database. These questions contain embedd HTML formatting tags:
    Are you a member or do you intend to become a member of the armed forces <.i>including reserves</.i>?
    ** Please note: I had to add the . into the tag because the forum was formatting italics tag appropriately.
    I want Documaker to read the sting and apply the formats that the tags specify.

  • HTML tag in Coldfusion string not appearing

    Hey guys I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong when trying to
    store an html tag in a string. Basically I'm dynamically creating a
    list for use in a javascript menu, so when building the menu, I do
    this:
    menu = "< ul id = """ & mainID & """
    ><br>";
    to generate a list (of course thats only part of the list
    code). This line produces < ul id = "mainID" >
    What I need is for the spaces to be removed, so it would
    produce <ul id="mainID">
    But in my Coldfusion function, if I write:
    menu = "<ul id=""" & mainID & """><br>";
    nothing shows up! A space between < and ul works fine, but
    once I delete them, nothing! Any help would be really appreciated,
    thanks.

    actually found the answer elsewhere, I declared a variable
    open = &lt; now instead of using the <, i just write open,
    which generates the list fine.
    but a followup, the list is being generated now, but on the
    page instead of the javascript/css menu catching it and formatting
    it, it just displays the whole list, tags and all. I tried
    htmlEditFormat( ), that only changed all the symbols to their I
    guess ASCI couterparts. Any ideas why its showing the list as text
    rather than creating a menu??
    also I tried it without the menu, which should have shown a
    bulleted list, but that didn't work either...

  • Showing HTML tags in JList

    Hello
    My problem is quite simple but have not found any answer so far... I have a JList component where I store the contents of a file (one text line corresponds to a JList entry). Everything works fine, except when I have a line with HTML tags, since these are not made visible inside the JList entry. For example: if a file has a "<HTML><Body>example" line, then the JList entry displays just "example" instead of the full line. Any way to disable this HTML rendering and presenting only the raw text?
    Thank you!

    Fudge: prepend a space to each String that you place
    in the list, or munge the string in some other way
    that it looks similar/identical but prevents JLabel
    thinking it's HTML
    Proper fix: implement ListCellRenderer to return an
    overridden JLabel which doesn't implement a
    half-assed interpretation of HTML, or another
    component - JTextArea might workOr, in the renderer call:
    putClientProperty("html.disable", Boolean.TRUE);See:

  • Text Search skiping HTML tags

    I have a table containing clob column.
    select code, details from search order by code;
    CODE DETAILS
    4 just a <b>test </b>insert
    5 just a <b>test</b> insert
    9 <HTML>just a <i>test</i> insert</HTML>
    10 checking test insert
    I have created a context index and add html tags in the stop list.
    exec ctx_ddl.create_stoplist('mystop', 'BASIC_STOPLIST');
    exec ctx_ddl.add_stopword('mystop', '<b>');
    exec ctx_ddl.add_stopword('mystop', '</b>');
    CREATE INDEX searchi ON search(details)
    INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT PARAMETERS
    ('FILTER CTXSYS.AUTO_FILTER SECTION GROUP CTXSYS.AUTO_SECTION_GROUP STOPLIST MYSTOP');
    But when I search 'test insert' it only shows the following rows
    SQL> SELECT score(1), code, details FROM search WHERE CONTAINS(details, 'test insert', 1) > 0 ORDER BY score(1);
    SCORE(1) CODE DETAILS
    5 10 checking test insert
    5 9 <HTML>just a <i>test</i> insert</HTML>
    I would like to define a text index which skips the html keywords and returns all the rows contain the searching phrase

    Since you did not use code tags in your post, most of your html does not show, so it is difficult to tell what html is in your data or what values you set for your stopwords. One problem with stopwords is that, although the word is not indexed, it still expects some word where the stopword was, so searching for "word1 word2" will not find "word1 removed_stopword word2". How about using a procedure_filter as demonstrated below? I only removed a few tags, so you would need to either expand it to include others or searching for starting and ending tags and remove what is inbetween.

  • Where is ADF FACES HTML tags in JDeveloper 11g?

    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 for my project. I remembered in 10g I have a list of HTML tags such as, afh:tableLayout, afh:cellFormat, etc under ADF FACES HTML package. However, in new JDeveloper 11g, I could only see ADF Cores and there is no ADF Faces HTML tags. Are they still available in 11g? If so, how I could install those tags in JDeveloper 11g?

    Thanks for your quick response. Actually I am converting a Trinidad project into ADF 11g. In old one, I used a lot of tableLayout components. It seems impossible for me to convert all those tableLayout into ADF 11g layout components in a short period of time.
