HTTP Error with Status code 403 when using ABAP Server Proxies

Hi All,
I have been working on ABAP Client and Server proxies in my project. The weblogs by Ravikumar, Prateek Shah,  Siva Maranani & VijayaKumari were very helpful and thank them all for just helpful and guiding postings.
Interfaces using Client proxies are working fine and have been tested successfully. But I'm facing bit problems with Server Proxies. The scenario is of File to SAP system via XI. Data is coming correct up to Technical routing in pipeline but at call adapter(for Server Proxy to SAP)in XI pipeline I receive Error:
HTTP response contains status code 403 with the description Business Server Page (BSP) Error Error when sending by HTTP (error code: 403, error text: Business Server Page (BSP) Error)
Previously I was receiving authentication and authorization related error of status code 401 and then in communication channel I replaced user profile with a user id having role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER. The basis peron has created new user id with role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER  only and that I'm using. I've tried creating a HTTP destination with the created user id and in test connection too receive same error message.
Please help me out with your inputs and understanding on the topic.
Thanks and Best Regards
Prashant Rajani

    Hello all,
    I have configured a simple scenario like this:
    File ftp Adapter -> XI -> File ftp Adapter
    I activate the communication channel to start the message processing. Then I am able to see my messages in transaction SXMB_MONI in the XI Integration server but I get the error message mentioned in the subject of this thread.

    Hi,
    This error may be because of Inactive Services in internet communication framework-
    Go to SICF transaction and activate the services. Have a  look into SAP note-517484
    SO because of huge message this may be the reason.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,

    Dear SAP experts,
    Currently, our Trading Partner is sending messages to our server via HTTPS, AS2 connection.
    Our Trading Partner is getting error, Transport status code: 403.

    Kindly advise where the issue resides.
    Is it from Trading Partner's configuration?
    Thanks very much!

    It could be related to missing configuration at your side. Have you created the sender agreement properly? It could be problem with incorrect use of party while creation of sender agreement.

  • [Exchange-Online][EWS-XML][JAVA][OAUTH2] Getting HTTP status code 500 when using OAUTH2 client credential grant flow as authorization method

    Hi,
    i'm working on enhancing a service to be able to use OAUTH2 as authentication protocol with client credential grant flow when talking to exchange online ( like described here:

    Office 365 Exchange Online : Application Permissions: "Have full access via EWS to all mailboxes ....."
    Windows Azure Active AD: Application Permissions: "Read Directory data", Delegate Permissions: "Enable sign-on and read users_ profiles"
    I receive a access token from log.windows.net:

    If i use BASIC authentication and impersonation the request is successfully.
    Has anyone an idea why i might get the error 500 in that scenario?

    For EWS to work with App Token, you need to do two more things. One you already did: Set the impersonation header. Two is to set the X-AnchorMailbox http request header to the smtp address of the mailbox you want to access. This routes the request instantly
    to the right backend.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you! Matthias

    The input data for the test are:
    userID = "U5000"
    restaurant = "resA"

    These data are exactly the saame data that my experiment takes as input in Azure ML Studio running mode. My experiment is consisted of 2 python scripts and one meta data editor. The first python script reads the input data, calculates and feeds them into
    the metadata editor and the metadata editor feeds the result into the second python script. The second python script module code is very simply and just pivots the data fed:
    import pandas as pd
    def azureml_main(dataframe1):
       newtable = pd.pivot_table(dataframe1, index="restaurant", columns='userID', values="rating")
       return newtable,
    I cannot understand what is the error and why it is not raised during the running proccess but it is rised during the testing web service proccess. I should note here that when I use only one python script module the above error is not raised in the web
    service call.  Waiting for your response
    Thank you very much.

    I have received the same error while updating me phone for the last two updates and have had to wipe out my entire phone with a restore both times! I am very frustrated with Apple.

    Error 1 or -1

  • Problems with 'COMMIT MISSING' - when using ABAP client proxies

    Hi
       We have a requirement - wherein while SAP std inbound IDOCs are being processed in the R/3 system- we need to monitor the processing of idocs - by sending relevant information out of the R3 system to a monitoring dashboard - outside of the R/3 environment.
    Inorder to accomplish the above, we generated a async. client proxy class in the R3 system by pointing to a XI o/b message interface and that interface mapped on to DB calls - from which the dashboard was bringing up status of idocs being processed in R3
    We made a call to the async class method from within the idoc user exit that lies  within IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS FM . The user exit chosen to make the call was - after the salesorder processing for the inbound idoc was done in the above FM. We have not given any COMMIT WORK statement after the async client proxy method call within the user exit - since the call was being made from within user exit and we did not want to upset SAP std processing flow.
    Now, when the inbound idoc processing is being done by using SAP std program rbdapp01 using parallel processing option of packets, the outbound message generated is in 'COMMIT MISSING' status - whereas - when rbdapp01 is executed in normal mode - the proxy message is sent out ok out of the R3 integration engine.
    The program rbdapp01 has a COMMIT WORK statement after each IDOC packet is processed - but still with the parallel processing option - the proxy message stays in th R3 box - with the status 'COMMIT MISSING'
    Any thoughts/ pointers on this is appreciated....

    Hi Karthik,
    I don't think you can get this to work using an asynchronous proxy - except perhaps by spawning an update task to send the data.
    Perhaps you can re-cast this as a synchronous interface?

    Thorsten

  • Failed to receive ccm message responce. Status code = 403

    So as the title suggests Im having client problems installation problems on some machines.
    Looking at a clients ccmsetup.log I have this throughout the log:

    Hey All, I am really stumped on this one.
    Environment - Is using split DNS
    Forest Root Domain - Contains new Lync 2013 Server Standard, ADDS, DNS, Enterprise CA, Workstations
    Clients in this domain connect and work beautifully. No errors.
    Child Domain - ADDS, DNS, Workstation, Lync 2013 client
    Client autodiscovers, and then asks for a password. Enter the password and this comes up...
    Can't sign in to Lync, You didnt get signed in, It might be your sign-in address or logon credentials..  blah blah blah"
    Client log shows
    Error:
    There was an error communicating with the endpoint at 'https://domainlync13srv.Domain.net/WebTicket/WebTicketService.svc'.
    The server returned HTTP status code '403 (0x193)' with text 'Forbidden'.
    The server understood the request, but cannot fulfill it.
    As far as i can tell certificates are correctly configured with all the SAN's possible in my forest. The user is correctly set up in Lync control panel. Autodiscovery seems to be working as it should. EWS is working correctly.
    Repaired client, removed cached creds, has all lync 2013 updates no dice
    Thank you all!

    I am an IDIOT.
    I did not prepare the child domain with the LYNC setup tool. Logged on to a file server in the child domain with domain admin rights and sure enough the setup said the domain was "partial". Ran the setup and bam it all started working.

    Hello
    - Check that the required users are available on all clients involved in the scenario.
    - Are the users PIAFUSER/PIISUSER locked
    - Generate the roles and do a Mass Comparison for SAP_XI, SAP_SLD and SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC (your Basis admin will know how to do this).
    - Double check all necessary configurations e.g. in the application system -> sxmb_admin -> Integration Engine Configuration ensure you are using the format DEST://<RFC destination name>

    Hi
    Stumbled upon the resolution myself. The Bean Area item needs to be set to Visible=Yes in the property palette for the bean within Forms Builder, and also the implementation class also in the bean's properties must match exactly the package & class name specified in the PJC (my full implementation class string had to be set to oracle.forms.demos.runApplication).
    As this bean has no user interface component, and since the Visible property has to be set to Yes, to avoid having a random square shape for the bean sitting on the form's canvas, I also set the Width and Height properties for the bean to 0.001. This does show a very small dot on the form, but that will be acceptable.
    So in summary there has been a change for PJC / Bean Areas between 6i and 10g Forms, in 6i you could have the Bean Item to be set Visible=No, and the SET_CUSTOM_ PROPERTY built-in would work, however in 10g Forms the Bean Item must be set to Visible=Yes for the SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY built-in to work.

    Hi Michal,
    Thanks for your response! I followed the instruction on question 17, and recheck my configuration of the integration engines (for client 105/106/107 as stated in the SAp demo), and change the 'Corresponding Inte. Server" back to the format "dest://<RFC destination for inte. server>". I had that initially, and decided to try using the entire http path (http://<local_host:J2EE port>/sap/xi/engine/?type=entry). Neither of them worked.
    Do I need to restart or reactivate any components after I changed the corresponding integration server value after the configuration?
    Since the above did not work, so I went back to the possible root cause (Integration Server RFC destination). I have set up the integration server RFC destination in client 100, with the following parameters:
    Under Technical Settings:
    Host: <local_host>
    path prefix: /sap/xi/engine/?type=entry
    service no.: 5<instance>00
    Under Logon/Security:
    Logon Precedure: chose Basic Authentication
    Client: 100
    Login ID : XIAPPLUSER
    Afterwards, I did the "Test Connection", and it returns the 404 error.
    In addition, on the application systems side (in the demo, the case will be client 105/106/107), I have ensured the business systems are set to "application system".
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks much!

  • HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK HTTP response contains status code 500 with th

    hello friend,
    I have developed a proxy to JDBC synchronous scenario.
    My scenario works like this.
    i run an abap program which calls a client proxy,
    the proxy fetches the data from database table and returns the data in the ABAP program.
    My program is working fine but there is a small problem.
    when i run the report for the first time, it gives me an exception while calling proxy
    HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK HTTP response contains status code 500 with the description Timeout
    and when i run the report for the second time with same variant it works fine.
    i can see the exception mostly in the morning when i run the report for the first time
    please help me to find the solution of this problem.
    thanks
    kannu.

    1. Increase the proctimeout in smicm as per note - 824554
    2.   Application threads in the J2EE engine might have got consumed in high load situations.
    Increase the count of application threads in config tool at location Config Tool -> cluster-data ->
    <configuration template> -> <instance-ID> -> managers -> ApplicationThreadManager ->
    MaxThreadCount
    3.    Increase the parameter ServletInputStreamTimeout from 180000 to 1728000000.
    Steps for setting this parameter:
    a.   If you have configured ICM to forward requests to the J2EE dispatcher then apply Note
    1048692. If the problem is not resolved, then apply section b.
    b.   The request bytes are reaching the Engine too slowly
    i.    Start the configtool in <J2EE>/configtool directory
    ii.    Browse the tree in the left pane
    cluster-data -> Global server configuration -> services -> http
    iii.    Press the ServletInputStreamTimeout key in the keylist on the right
    iv.    Change the value of the "Value" field at the bottom of the right pane to the
    preferred one (in milliseconds).
    -1 means there is no timeout - that is unless the full request comes into a single
    chunk, an error will be thrown
    180000 means the Engine would wait for 3 minutes for any byte to be entered in
    the stream.
    1728000000 means the Engine would wait for 20 days for any byte to be entered
    in the stream
    v.    Press the "Set" button in the top-right corner
    vi.    Select from the menu File -> Apply and confirm all popups.
    vii.    Restart the Engine for changes to take effect

  • Event when logistic invoice gets in the sys. through EDI with status cod 03

    Hello Gurus,
    I am trying to find the event that gets triggered when an incoming EDI logistics invoice gets posted/created in system with status code 3 (error status). I know that I can go to transaction SWELS to find the event using event trace.
    The problem is I cannot create such a test scenario manually i.e logistic invoice in the system with status code 03. So I was woneding if someone cal tell me if it would be event
    incominginvoice.created or incominginvoice.posted in business object BUS2081 when the logixtics invoice gets crated/posted with status code 03.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
    The events triggered when an IDOC goes into error are associated with the inbound process code.
    Have a look in transaction BD67 for your process code, e.g. INVM under the IDOC section you will see the object and events that are invoked when any error occurs.
    Is that what you are after?
