HttpURLConnection issue reading a gzip application/json inputstream

while trying to send from a java proxy server this link, to browser, I get "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input"
when I remove "description" property from json, I get no error at all.
bypassing java server, or using "wget" from command line, i get no error too.

  • URL Manipulation when content-type is application/json (with UAG 2010)

    Hey,
    I got a website published through HTTPS trunk (UAG2010) which works with "application/json" content type at some parts (AJAX objects).
    The parts which use applicaton/json content-type are loaded with a bad URL's on the client side (the internal URLs)
    How can i configure that UAG will manipulate this content-type? (so the HAT mechanism will manipulate these get requests and responses)
    Thank you, Idan.

    Hi Idan,
    We had a similar issue with internal links not being translated for a particular UAG published website. You'll need to run fiddler or httpwatch from a UAG client to identify the failing URL link extension types, eg .jsp and .RF
    Open the trunk configuration, and select the portal tab, click
    edit under Search and Replace Response Content.
    Under Servers, put the fqdn of the web server / publishing address, and under URLs, add the identified extensions.
    We also had to have a custom WhlFiltSecureRemote_HTTPS.xml file created under
    Von\Conf\Websites\%trunk_name%\conf\CustomUpdate
    which included the defined application type for the published website, and tells UAG when to use the search and replace parser.
    Hope that helps.

    I can't seem to get my iMac (late 2009 model) into automatic sleep mode.  If I manually put it into sleep I don't have any issues.
    I used to solve the issue by running "PleaseSleep" application but that doesn't work anymore since Lion. I now want to fix the underlying problem.
    I'm not running any weird background processes and in my energy saver settings I've tagged "put the hard disk to sleep when possible:, "allow power button to put computer to sleep" and "automatically reduce brigthness". All pretty standard.
    Is there anyone who can give me some pointers ?

    Today I solved the same problem for my iMac running Snow Leopard. See https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3008791#15947706. The method may help you, too.
    For me it was the DynDNS Updater preventing my iMac from automatically entering sleep mode.
    To my knowledge the cause of this sleep problem can only be a peripheral device or a process. So I suggest to first unplug all peripherals and test whether that's the cause. If not, I suggest to terminate one process after another and to test automatic entering of sleep mode after each. Start with user processes; continue with system process if necessary.
    At least that's the way I found the offending process. Fortunately, I was able to change the configuration of that process to allow again automatic entering of sleep mode.
    Good luck!

  • How to make an OSB proxy to the server responding with application/json?

    Hi,
    My question is related to unfortunately unanswered question: Re: OSB and Oracle Maps
    Big picture: There is a Jetty server on local network with SpringMVC controllers which respond with JSON. The only way to communicate from frontend application to that server is through the OSB. So OSB should work as transparent proxy, passing headers and respond with original JSON message.
    I tried to build such proxy, following some blogs entries. Proxy worked for the REST services based on XML, but when I go to the JSON business service I get stuck.
    I think that business service to communicate with JSON server should be a Messaging Service, with Response Type: Text and Request Type: None.
    All headers should be passed (Outbound request) so the JSON server receives them in same state as frontend send.
    Business service should be invoked from 'Service Callout' because I don't need any asynchronous calls, or routing - just call the business service endpoint, which will call JSON server and pass the response.
    There are some problems in which I stepped into when tried this approach:
    1. When using Request Type: None the Service Callout give me an error of type:
    A callout cannot invoke a one-way operation
    When switching Request Type to Text I get it working, but some services on JSON server which operates only on GET method stop work (because switching to Text automatically require to use POST method, which is obvious but not necessary in my case).
    2. Even with above modification I cannot get the response from business service - I guess it's because the JSON response isn't wrapped into any XML elements. So in Service Callout any logger prints the message on Request side, but anything is written by Response logger inside the Service Callout. The browser which launch the Proxy Service also answers with:
    HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error)
    and I don't see any errors in logs, last message is from Request logger inside Service Callout.
    3. Business Service itself seems to work - here is an output from 'Run on Server':
    Business Service Testing - SampleJSON
    Request Document
    Response Document
    {"models":[],"success":1}
    Response Metadata
    <con:metadata xmlns:con="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/test/config">
    <tran:headers xsi:type="http:HttpResponseHeaders" xmlns:http="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports/http" xmlns:tran="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <http:Content-Length>696</http:Content-Length>
    <http:Content-Type>application/json;charset=ISO-8859-1</http:Content-Type>

    </tran:headers>
    <tran:response-code xmlns:tran="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports">0</tran:response-code>

    <http:http-response-code xmlns:http="http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/transports/http">200</http:http-response-code>
    </con:metadata>
    But when calling it from a service proxy I don't get any logger message on the JSON server, which appears normally when I runs business service tests. So it seems that the request doesn't even reach it.
    If anyone has a time to look at this problem I can share the configuration jar ready to import: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21341604/sample-osb-json/sample-json.jar, to make it working you need change Endpoint URI in SampleJSON.biz.
    Thanks in advance for any kind of help or tips,
    Adrian

    Different environments mean just that. So something could be causing it outside java.
    Additionally if anything at all is different in the execution data, such as even a name having a different size, then it would change the execution path.
    Which would cause a problem in the JNI code to manifest itself on only one box. Probably isn't a pointer bug but all sorts of odd behavior can result from that.

  • NTDLL.DLL issue with HRBLOCK.EXE application

    I am on Windows 7 64-bit and everything works fine.  I recently downloaded the 2014 H&R Block Tax program on my new computer and ran the installation.  Installed fine.  Go to use it and it starts up but fails with a reference to NTDLL.DLL
    and H&R Block is stating it is not their problem but a Microsoft issue.  Can find any fixes and this is stressing me out.
    The information from the event log is listed below.  Any assistance would be appreciated.  Note I have processed SFC /scannow with no issues.

    Hi Randy ,
    Ntdll.dll file is a file created by Microsoft that has a description of "NT Layer DLL" and the file contains NT kernel functions.
    Considering you have performed a system health scan and there is no problem found .There is still a possibility that the installation of this program has suffered a corruption though there is no error found during installation .
    Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall it to have a check ? Please ensure you have got the latest version of this program .
    Meanwhile I found a similar symptom and the OP has resolved it ,it may be helpful to you .

  • Attempt to read obj from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed

    Hi,
    we have generated a transport from DEV PI to QAS PI.
    This transport contains one namespace and several objects like mappings, etc.
    Importing in QAS PI is shown as successful. No errors or conflicts occoured.
    But when I opend the Software Component and the underlying namespace, no object is displayed.
    In the default log I found following:
    com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Operation Mapping OM_XXXX | http://XXXX.de/PI/RFC/XXX/AUFTRAG_ANLEGEN, type MAPPING from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed. Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: Object Operation Mapping OM_XXXX | http://XXXX.de/PI/RFC/XXX/AUFTRAG_ANLEGEN not found
    But also the cache status is fine and the import of objects is shown with green lights.
    Is there a possibility for finding the reason of the REPOSITORY issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    André

    Hi There,
    One of the reason for the error attempt to read object from Application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed can be due to the fact the PI system is trying to read the respository objects from the DEV environment still, instead from the QA ennvironment.
    1. Check the host name for the QA system for repository and directory in Exchange profile,
    2. Also check the host name for the QA system that was maintained in the SOA MANAGER setting in the NWA. This might point to the Dev system still. ( IN case you are using WS adapters in your scenarios )
    You can also refer the forum thread below,  which discuss about the same issue,

  • Intermitant issue in CRM dynamics application

    Hi ,
    We are facing intermittent issue in CRM dynamics application.
    Issue-Submut button is not bringing records which it should bring even-though it is displaying progress bar.
    I tried to execute the script from command prompt then the failure rate reduces to 6 out of 10 times(earlier it was working for 1 out of 10 times only).
    While doing manually it is working fine, issue is pretty critical for us, kindly respond at the earliest.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Prashant1307,
    >>We are facing intermittent issue in CRM dynamics application.
    Actually this forum is to discuss the Test issue, but I didn't find test information, whether it is related VS test project like unit test or other test type?
    But if it is just the CRM dynamics application issue, please post this issue to the CRM forum here:

  • How to set Content-Disposition to "application/json;"

    Using System.Net.Http.Httpclient, I am trying to do a multipart post in C# and with a wp8.
    This is a snippet of my code:
    varclient =
    newHttpClient();
                    client.DefaultRequestHeaders.TryAddWithoutValidation(
    "Content-Type",
    "application/json");
    MultipartFormDataContent

    content.Add(
    newStringContent(requestObj,
    Encoding.UTF8,
    "application/json"),
    "request");
    but using Fiddler, I noticed that I am sending this:
    Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8
    Content-Dis name=request
    while I need to send this (taken from an android device where the call is working):
    Content-Dis name="request"
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
     - How to achieve the expected result?

    Your code explicitly sets the incorrect content type.  Why are you setting it to "application/json", when you say it requires "text/plain; charset=UTF-8"?
