Help please..a new user who is clearly set up as the "administrator" on my mac mini it even has the title under my name when I log in..trying to upload in my cd drive my new cannon software and it says I do not have enough privledges when I am clearly the admin.... I am at a total loss..apprecaite any help b4 I throw this out the window and go buy a PC again arghhhhhhhhh

Throw the Canon CD out the window and following the OS X instructions for setting up a printer with your Mac.
For Mountain Lion, see > OS X Mountain Lion: Set up a printer
For Mavericks, see > OS X Mavericks: Set up a printer
If that doesn't help go to > Canon U.S.A. : Support & Drivers and follow their instructions for using that printer in OS X.

iTunes is not installing because its incompatible with your OS. When installing the correct version the new version will update the older version, there is no need to uninstall first.
The last version of iTunes compatible with OSX 10.4 is iTunes 9.2.1

Since installing the latest version of iTunes all my music files cannot be edited, and I cannot import new music files into iTunes. In general, I am getting really frustrated with Apple. They seem to be getting ever more controlling in their approach to their consumers. I need to edit music file information as I am a dj. And why can't I import music, unless I buy it from iTunes? Most of all, why can't I use the devices I paid a lot of money for in the way I want to use them, and not be forced to coerced to use apple's fee paying services (iCloud, iTunes).
I have used apple computers since the early 1990's, but in the last year I have gotten rid of my iPhone and my iPad and replaced them with Android devices. Much better and much less control. Perhaps it is time to switch from Apple altogether.

It appears that you are trying to sync too much media to the iPod. Check your checkmarks. Also see:

This sounds like a possible permissions issue. Try these steps. Uninstall iTunes and all of it's components. Next, download the newest version of iTunes and save it to your desktop rather than selecting run. Right click on the installer package and run as administrator. Thanks for the clarification on the terms. I consider myself proficent at my computer, but not exactly in its inner-workings! I have 8 GB of memory installed.
I am still confused as to why I do not have any space for the program. This is the exact error message I get: "There is not enough free space on Macintosh HD disk. The Print Shop 2 application requires about 550 MB to be installed. Free some disk space and try again."

I didn't know that iTunes had a 64bit download. I have Windows 7 Home Premium with 64bit operation system. I downloaded the iTunes for 64bit and it seems to have corrected the problem. I haven't received the message yet since I did this.

While your iPhone is synching in iTunes, do the following:
1. Click on your iPhone's icon on the left.
2. Find and click on the "Tones" tab on the upper right of the iTunes display.
3. Choose the synch option you would like.
