You don't need 10.5. Skip it and buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD.

I've never chosen to delete unused apps in my library because I was worried that if, in the future, one was of interest, that I'd have to re-purchase... so this is not the case then, right? (I'd felt secure knowing that an app was stored on my computer... More than once, I've had to revert to backups and was glad to have copies of my apps safely stored away.)
I've been slow to adopt anything "cloud" so am not well versed on the benefits of using it. So, just to be clear, if I delete an unused app in my local iTunes library, it will forever remain available in the cloud linked to my account, right? -
I can not burn my playlist. Everyone keeps talking about this magic "burn playlist, or "burn cd option, but I can not find it anywhere. I have a playlist ready to go and a cd in, and ready to burn. I am at a loss for what I am not doing, or missing. Please help
Those are the instructions for your computer's iTunes (i.e. using the Store menu at the top of your computer's iTunes and selecting 'View My Account' on it). If you are doing it on your iPad then are you following the instructions for iOS devices :
To unhide your purchases
Depending on the content type, open the App Store, iBooks, or iTunes Store on your device.
Scroll to the bottom of the main page.
If you're not already signed in, tap Sign In.
Tap your Apple ID name, then tap View Account.
Scroll down on the Account pane, and tap Hidden Purchases.
Locate the item you would like to unhide then tap the Unhide button. -

I have been trying all different updates but nothing is working and i dont know what else to do. I'm running mac OS X 10.5.8 . Can anybody help me try to update my computer.
How far up the foodchain do you want to go? Up to the Hillside Cat? Can your Mac deal with it? Cause it needs at least 4GB RAM, preferably 8GB.
So, the road begins with you calling Apple and requesting a Snow Leopard install DVD. Only way to get it. Costs $20 and a few nickles for shipping. With that cat installed, you get the App Store. Then you get to decide whether you want to reach the summit and get the Mountain Cat, for another $20. -

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I updated my phone to iOS 7 and ever since then I don't have the App Store. It's really frustrating because I have restored my phone and it still doesn't have it. I don't know if it can be fixed, but if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know!
I figured out how. Go to settings> General make sure restrictions are off

The App Store want allow me to download new apps because I have not set up security questions.But I share an iTunes account with my friend. So if I set up the questions will my friend have to use and answer the same thing?
They will have to be answered the first time when purchasing from a new computer or device.

I downloaded ios6 on my iphone 4s. Now, to sync to itunes I need the new version of itunes. In order to download the new version of itunes, I need a newer OS. I am fine with downloading a new OS, but it says to download through the app store. My computer doesn;t currently have the app store. What should I do?
In order to get the App Store you must be running OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8
To get there you must upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6 which requires an install DVD
You can call Apple and ask them for the install DVD. It will cost $19.95 plus shipping
Once you have upgraded your Mac to Snow Leopard then you need to update it to 10.6.8
Then you will have the App Store you need
Backup first before you start any of the upgrade

I have a new ipad and everything works but can't connect to the app store. Itunes works and the wifi seems to be working but i get a blank white screen when i open the appstore. Nothing will load unter the features or charts tab so i cant download any apps. Purchased and updates tab loads fine. Any suggestions?
