I am getting getting a General Extraction Error

Location ES1 and cannot download itunes.
My itunes stopped working so I went to the itunes site and followed instructions
I deleted all the files in proper order, including Bonjour,
I downloaded itunes setup to my desktop. When I try install itunes the extracting or loading graphic display comes on the screen goes less than halfway than disappears. The itunes exe is not extracted. itunes will not install. Im desperate. I want my eye tunes

This is due to program error. TAB_NAME will have a Table name at runtime but you have already defined internal table TABLE CONTENT_TABLE. What is the declaration of that table ?
Take help of your abapper to use Field symbols for the declaration & it should work.

"general installation error" message each time I try and install Flashplayer 13

I cannot install the latest version of flashplayer. during the installation I keep getting a "general installation error" message.
I have un-installed my old version of flashplayer and followed all the trouble shootong tips but to no avail.
My system is a macintosh, operating with 10.8.5. Any help would be gratefully received......

It should be 13.0.0.206.
Download the following:
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers) or http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/i nstall_flash_player_13_plugin.msi
Flash Player Uninstaller
Also, download these:
Shockwave Player Uninstaller
Shockwave Player 112 FULL installer (Other browsers)
Save all the files and close your browser.
Run the uninstallers first (both of them)
Go to: C/Windows/System32
Delete the Macromed folder.
Go to: C/Windows/SysWOW64
Delete the Macromed folder.
Open your Registry Editor (Start>Run or press the Windows key + R and type 'regedit' [minus the quotes] and click OK)
In the Registry Editor, go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE
Delete the Macromedia folder (Right click and choose "Delete").
Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software and delete the Macromedia folder there too.
Close the Registry Editor and empty your recycle bin.
Run the Flash Player installer, and then the Shockwave FULL installer you downloaded.

General Capture error,capturing straight to MacBook via Firewire 400 to 800

Hi guys,
I'm on a shoot now and whilst I'm capturing straight from my Z7 into the Macbook (going from Firewire 400 to 800), occasionally after the capture I get a 'General capture error' and I lose the footage! Obviously it's backed up on tape so it's okay but this is kinda frustrating, do you think it's an issue with the fact that I'm going from 400 to 800?
I've tried altering the Easy Setup a few times, still having the error.

In the System Settings/Scratch Disk tab, try activating the "Limit Capture Now To" function. Type in whatever is the longest session you expect to record.
If you don't activate this feature, FCP has no idea how much material to expect and assumes you will need to fill up your harddrive.
Let us know if that helps.

BTW...why don't you tell us exactly what format the Z7 is recording and what your capture settings are. Might also include exact versions of OS/FCP/QT.
You may just be choking the macbook, by attempting to capture directly to your internal hd.

RefreshGraph General Protection Error

Hi,
I would like to report 2 strange behaviors with Graphs that occur when I draw a bitmap image to a graph and then a rectangle.
1/ I would like to change the size of the rectangle by deleting all and then redraw all. I set the attribute ATTR_REFRESH_GRAPH to 0, then I delete all with the attribute VAL_DELAYED_DRAW, I draw all and then call RefreshGraph ().
The problem is that even with the attribute ATTR_REFRESH_GRAPH at 0 the graph is blinking when I change the size of the rectangle and redraw all.
2/ When I draw the bitmap with PlotBitmap and do a RefreshGraph before setting the image with SetCtrlBitmap I get a General Protection Error.
You will find attached a small projetc that illustrates these behaviors.

By the way I made the same tests in CVI 2015 Beta and got nearly the same behaviors.
The only difference is that the programm stops without giving the reason, you don't get the message General protection error.

I'm having a lot of trouble understanding this general protection error,
I have the function:

when I call this function
DAQmxErrChk(DAQmxWriteAnalogF64(taskHandle,1,1,10.0,DAQmx_Val_GroupByChannel,&data,NULL,NULL));
I get the general protection error. after some debugging the one line that is cause this is
*sampsPerChanWritten= numSampsPerChan;
numSampsPerChan is 1 from the function call, and an int32. I dont understand how this would cause an error.

Hi tianshiz,
You're passing NULL for the 'sampsPerChanWritten' parameter, but your implementation of DAQmxWriteAnalogF64() doesn't check whether this parameter is NULL before dereferencing it, so it crashes.
By the way, based on this and your previous threads, it sounds like you're trying to use a DAQmx simulated device, but with your own custom data instead of the stock sine wave. Writing your own replacements for the DAQmx read and write functions is a good way to do that. However, I recommend naming your functions something different than the real DAQmx functions, so that you can use conditionals, function pointers, or polymorphism to choose which version to call at runtime. Otherwise, your program won't work with real DAQmx devices.
On the other hand, if this is a stub function for a unit test, then carry on.

N96 general system error

I have an n96-1 on software version 10.065 custom version 10.065.249.1 all was working fine, I put music on the internal memory card, that worked fine. then I brought a memory card and put it in, Now when i try to play music i get a general system error message, take the card out reset the phone it all plays fine, Any idea?

For me the same error message showed. But I uninstalled the phone remote control thing (do not remember its name). I mean the program wich lets you take control over your phone from the internet. That caused trouble but music started playing well immediately after I just removed that silly program from my phone's mass storage memory!

General Autosave Error, yikes

I'm getting a "general autosave error" and hope someone out there can help sort this out for me since I have hours and hours to capture this weekend, but don't want to keep going with that message coming up.
I am working in FCP 5.1.4, capturing to an external G-tech firewire hard drive. I had one drive, about half full, onto which I captured a lot of clips. Brought that drive up to my editor, and purchased a second drive so that I can continue logging and capturing while the editor starts cutting.
I initialized drive #2, verified disk permissions,set one partition etc. ~ it is securely attached to a FW 800 card that I purchased for my G4 Powerbook, with a Sony DSR-20 deck capturing footage and attached to the original FW 400 port on the computer.
When I opened FCP I reset the capture scratch disk for this second HD, changing the name from GTECHb to something different after reading it's good to not have a name that contains the name of another drive (the first being, obviously, GTECHa). Set all to the new drive, except autosave vault, which I set to my internal HD, same pathway as before.
Within a folder called FCP files, I have the autosave folder, and for some reason an additional "autosave vault" folder was created within that one ~ into which all my previous project files versions can be found. I have tried setting both the first autosave folder and then it's "sub-folder" as a directory for the autosave vault, but in both cases continue to get this error message.
Wondering if the general autosave error might be due to all the previously captured clips now being offline, or if there is some other problemo. When I open a project after a day or so, FCP gives it a long name with the date and time the project was last modified ~ occasionally I change that name using "save project as..." and am now wondering do I need to make sure that the file name has .fcp on the tail end of it? Searching for possibilities here...
I have saved the projects (one is for 24p footage, one is for 24p advanced footage, different capture settings and all that jazz) and rechecked the system settings, but I'm baffled and frankly a little freaked out.
Is this one of those cases of "trash your preferences" -- if so I'm hoping this does not trash my project files --

which has:
Autosave Vault
Custom Settings
Master Projects
FCP manual.pdf
and an XML file
within that Autosave Vault folder, there are two old saved copies of the project (?) then another sub-folder also called AUTOSAVE VAULT
When I click on THAT there are tons of versions of my two projects from different dates (one 24p footage, one 24p advanced footage, same documentary but haven't converted 24p footage yet to 23.98)
...and yet another AUTOSAVE VAULT folder
when i click on that, there is...yup, another AUTOSAVE VAULT folder.
seems it just keeps generating these folders within folders.
...did FCP rescue and so far am not getting the general autosave error - hurrah!
- but all these autosave vault folders (I only directed it toward the FIRST one)...just insane. However, I will know which saves were done on the new FW drive since they are embedded within the embedded (um, within the embedded) folder.
I should go to bed and start again tomorrow.

Windows XP SP2 (32bit) is not a supported OS for installing Reader X. Please update to the latest service pack released for WIN XP i.e. SP3.

Keep getting "General Install Error" when installing Flash Player 13 on Mac OSX 10.9.3

For about 2 weeks now I've been getting software update notifications for Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat X. Every time I run the update install I get an error that will not allow it finish. For Flash specifically that error says "General Install Error". I've uninstalled all of these programs to try to correct this error, now they are unable to be reinstalled due to this error. Please help!

To confirm, did you actually terminate the Safari process, or simply close the Safari windows? If you closed just the browser window, the Safari process was not terminated. Please refer to How do I quit Safari (or another browser/app) in OS X.

Get the "cannot extract embedded fonts" error message

I get the "Cannot extract embedded font 'UZNVZW+HElveticaNeueLTStd-Hv-Identity-H'. Some characters may not display or print correctly." error message when I generate a PDF from MadCap Flare or Frame Maker. I am on Windows 8 64-bit / Adobe Acrobat 11 / FrameMaker 9 / MAdCap Flare 9.
When I do the same task on a Windows 7 system, works like a whistle.
I am looking at a solution and no workarounds.

Anyone know how to fix?? i am getting a general error message and then out of memory when adding a new squence?? Help!

The General Error warning is usually associated with incompatible files.
Out of Memory can be caused by corrupted clips, incompatible files and still images that use a color mode other than RGB.

I get a General Error message when I convert my film to Quicktime Movie.

I've compressed my film down to 24p etc etc. That worked fine. Before I did the compression there were some things I had to reconnect, did that, there was only one that didn't reconnect but the compression worked fine. Then I go to turn the film into a Quicktime Movie, I get to about 60% then I get a General Error message. Anyone have any ideas why thats happening?

Have you tried the compression with cinema tools?
make a quicktime movie of the stuff at 25 that you want to compress at 24 and go to cinema tools. make sure you create a new database at 24fps and try menu clip / comform. notice that cinema tools doesn't duplicate the clip, so it converts the one you are importing, make sure it is a copy of the original at 25
