I am going to travel and want to take my airport express with me so I have a wireless connection. Can I do that?

I need to know if I can disconnect my Airport express and take it to a rental condo for the weekend, without a big problem. They offer internet, but not wireless .

Unfortunately, another complication.
We had assumed in your first post that the condo furnished an Ethernet port on the wall, and you would be connecting the AirPort Express directly to that Ethernet port with an Ethernet cable.....the same type of connection that you see in many hotels.
If the condo provides a wired modem......the chances are high that you will need to reset the AirPort Express back to factory default settings and start over again from scratch to try to get the Express working.
Some folks are comfortable with things like that, and some would never consider something like that.
Any way that you get the make and model number of the modem? That might provide a few clues.

What is the problem with iCloud? iCloud has nothing to do with iTunes syncing.

First you have to know what you are doing, like an engineer : you have a
Laplace, continuous time transfer function but LabView handles discrete
signals only. Use matlab/simulink if you want to simulate continuous time
systems easily...
If you definitely want to use LabView, the first step is to discretize your
continuous-time transfer function, i.e. decide a sampling rate and convert
it to a "z transfor
m". Then you can directly use the "IIR Filter.vi" as I

Just continue using it if that is your choice - there is nothing forcing you to buy anything newer. You might need to continue using the same computer as well. Upgrading your computer could lead to an incompatibility between the software and the new system.
Just so you know, CS3 is not eligible for an upgrade any longer as of January 1.

My laptop died. I've dusted off my old iMac running OSX 10.2.8 and want to upgrade firefox to 3.5 or 3.6. Looks like I can't do that - where would I find older versions of firefox to update to?

My now dead laptop was running Firefox 3.6. It died. Now I have my old iMac out of storage. It has Firefox 2.0.0.1 on it. I'm using it now. Check for updates says I can go as high as 2.0.0.20. I'd like to upgrade the iMac to the most current operating system it can work with (right now it's at OSX 10.2.8), and then get Firefox up to the most current version this can run. I tried searching for older firefox versions to download, but can't seem to find them on your website. (I used search term "download Firefox 3.5"). I did this to check and see what OSX version they can work with. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks!

Or do we have to set up a seperate account for her? I would like to be able to share 'certain' songs with her but restrict others without having to 'check' and 'uncheck' songs individually every time we try to synch. Is there a way to do this or not? Also, FYI she has not synched to our library at ALL just yet since I am trying to figure out a way for this to work easily, and for her to be able to purchase songs with her gift card....but my husband and I do not want those songs to synch to our ipod. Only the songs that we are going to purchase. Does that make sense??:)

Okay, so I just got around to 'trying' to create and Apple ID for my daughter for her ipod as suggested above BUT I accidentally used her b-day and of course she is not old enough!!! So then I got off the internet etc and tried to create an apple ID for her using my b-day and it still would NOT let me, saying that I do not meet the minimum age reqirements!:( I am SO frusterated right now...it is not like I was going to let her have any control over what she purchases anyways, seeing as how she is 7yr. and we are generally strict about what she listens to. Is there any way that I can do this for her?

Somewhat much later query but I do have a related one. I've purchased my iPad 2 in India in October past. Using an adaptor for Canada I seem to have no problems charging it. Now I'm travelling to Chile and I see there is a 'similarity' in the two prongs on the electrical cord which came with the iPad (India) AND a similar pair of dual prongs used in Chile. I note Chile also uses a 3 - prong (horizontal) outlet. Query - Should I have any concern re the different currents used ; Canada 120V - 60 Hz versus Chile 220 - 50 Hz, or as noted earlier the iPad takes care of that with its built in converter. However, after some time on the phone i was told by the csr and supervisor that their system is not allowing them to complete the transaction without changing to a limited data plan. I was told to try going to a store and buy the phone. Same thing happened. Has Verizon changed something and not told their employees?

Seems like people having this problem are those coming from a phone that doesn't have a nano SIM card...so when Verizon issues them one they end up changing their plan. No clue why this keeps happening but stay on top of them. As long as you initiated the request for your plan to be reinstated within the 14 day time frame they should put it back. Interested in seeing how this plays out. There is still one phone in my house that hasn't been upgraded (an iPhone 4). I know that this would concern me just the same and we want to make sure that your device is connected and receiving these notifications when available. How long have you been having this issue? Are you receiving a specific error message when sending a message? Are you aware if this happens in one location specifically or everywhere you go? Does the issue with messaging occur with all numbers? Share some details, so that we may assist.

To check if you have a virus, you can download ClamXav
also, go to Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor and see if there's anything that you don't recognize, and check your sent email to see if you've been sending emails without your knowledge.

In earlier years you can go th an Apple Store, buy a Macbook Pro and ask for a replacement to a other type of keyboard. I do this 2-3 times in the last years for german keyboards. If you done this on the same day you bought the macbook, the replacement happened without charge anything. It was a great service.
Yesterday i go back to the same store like before and both - the sales representative and the guys an the GeniusBar told me - that this is not offered by Apple anymore. Because the US Apple Online Store do not offer other Keyboards the US-based keyboards and the German Apple Online Store do not deliver to other countries the final conglusion from the Apple Stuff was:

I see here in the Support community a lot of questions about norwegian, german and other kind of keyboards they want to buy in the US. Their is obviously a need for this. And from the logistic standpoint, it should be easy for Apple to offer that in the Online Stores itself.
For me the conglusaion is: I stay with my old Macbook Pro and hope i need no replacement within the next years. To order it in germany, ship it to a friend, pay taxes twice (in germany and vur customers) plus shipment, make it to expensive (bottonline: 600-800$ more than buy it in the US) make no sense to me.

Also, I had to install the software twice on my same computer before because I had to reboot the computer. I don't know if this affects the limit.

You are allowed to have two activated installations so there should not be a problem having working installations on the two machines. If by chance you have somehow tied up two activations for the one machine you can have Adobe support help resolve that thru chat.
