I am having trouble syncing my iphone. I select the albums i want to sync from my itunes library, click sync, but it only syncs a few of the albums.
Trying to sync my iphone but only a handful of the albums i select on itunes actually sync. Help!! I can't seem to get all the music I want on my iphone. Its like itunes decides which albums it will put on there.
Never mind:) I finally found a post taht helped me figure out the problem. You have to turn off the parental restrictions...duh!

I have been having trouble with my iphone 4 for the past day . i tried to update it to 7.0.4 then the screen went blank and it keeps telling me to connect to itunes . I have connected it to 2 computers , using different cords and it doesnt recognize it . Connect the device to iTunes and restore from the most current backup.

I have a Iphone 4, upgraded to ios 5 with itunes 10.5 Since doing upgarde to both Itunes and Iphone I am not able to add individual songs from my itunes library to my Iphone. I get a grey listing of the song and the sync symbo but it is not moving. Nothing appears on my phone screen. So not able to add music to my phone and its driving me nuts.....
iOS 7 requires iTunes 11.1.

I have updated Itunes, backed-up iphone to itunes, but can't update software. When I click update, it takes me back through the syncing process. I have synced wiht Itunes 5 times now and still no update to my iphone software.
When you connect and it says "backing up iPhone" at the top of the iTunes window, there should be a small "x" to the right of the message that will stop the backup. It will then allow you to progress to syncing and updating the iPhone. Once you're updated, try the backup process again to make sure that everything is ok.

I have an old iPod touch. I've been using the Big Blue Live speaker a bluetooth connected device. Never a problem.
I am now trying to connect it to my iPhone5, which I upgraded to ios8. It does not want to pair. It is not recognizing the Big Blue Live.

Wait for it to appear in the list on the left side of iTunes
Click once on it in that list
Look to the right and scroll down to Options - one of the checkboxes says Manually manage music and videos -
I'm having trouble updating my iphone 4 since i updated to 4.3.3 i can't update it anymore. initially itunes would let me go so far as downloadin the new software then an error poped up as soon as the download finished, and now when i connect it to my itunes, itunes freezes for about 5 minutes then says something like "could not load sync service, reconnect or try again later" any ideas on what i shud do?

Syncing an iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1.3 or earlier requires at least a G4 Mac running 10.5.8.
Syncing an iPhone 4S running iOS 7 requires at least an Intel Mac running 10.6.8.
If your computer can't be upgraded to the required OS version, buy a secondhand or refurbished one which can.

How are you trying to do it ? If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you may want to enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S if you are using a Mac, control-S if using a PC.
To sync books, connect the phone to your computer and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of iTunes select the Books tab :
You should then be able to select which books/PDFs that you want to sync to the iBooks app (and/or which audiobooks to sync to the Music app).

You can't syncing your iPhone via blutooth. BT is only for hands-free and tethering. You can sync via cable or wi-fi.only. -
