I am missing the "slide" bar on the right side of my mailboxes.

Since installing Firefox 4 I no longer have the "slide up and down" bar on the right side of my mailboxes. (All of them.) Also the up and down arrows are missing on the right too. I have tried reinstalling Firefox 4 and that did not help.

Missing the right side

Well here is the problem I am missing the entire right side of my itunes window. Which makes it so I can not register my new ipod or makes it impossible to create a ringtone for my iphone. I have tried every thing that I know so if someone can help me out that would be just fantastic. Thanks in advanced for any help you can give me.

KDE, slide bar on the right side is to small

Hi,
I am using a Compac nc6320.
I am happy with the right resolution of 1400 x 1050.
Just one problem, I find the slide bars on the bottom and the right side of a window to small in KDE
Were can I change this ?

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that scroll bars fall off and aren't visible.
* Use Restore or Maximize in the right-click context menu of the Taskbar icon to set focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the Firefox window.
* Open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox (File > Exit/Quit) to save that setting.

For now, you can try using Ctrl + t to open new tabs if you can't open them otherwise, but try right clicking the tabs bar, clicking "customize," and then in the window that comes up try clicking the "restore default set" button. I don't know if it will work in your case but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I lost the bookmarks icon on the right side of the menu bar on the top.

I used to have the star on the right side of my header at the top of the page. Somehow it disappeared and I am unable to restore it. (I still have the Bookmarks drop down in the Menu Bar, that is not what I am missing.)

Been through the exact same runaround as the original poster, very confusing and annoying.
So the specific solution is a three-step process:
1. HIDE THE MENU bar by un-checking it in "View"--this gives you the orange Firefox button. NOW you will automatically also be seeing our beloved Bookmarks drop-down on the right of the search box again! Yay!
2. Think to yourelf: Why can't I have both the Menu bar (with "Bookmarks" in it) AND the bookmarks dropdown on the Navigation bar? WHY?? Redundancy is MY CHOICE if I want it. And I do. User should be allowed to choose features on Nav bar independently of what's on other bars. (Obviously.) Programmers should not be allowed to make overriding choices for users about these things. Programmers are terrible at UI design and should be kept out of it aggressively. A separate team should do the UI design, and protect it from programmers.
3. Use the feedback links to tell the "clever" Firefox re-designers to PLEASE LEAVE THE CONTROL INTERFACE ALONE. When a billion people get used to things being a certain way, and they more or less like it that way, and you change it, that means that a billion people will experience a billion hours of frustration and anxiety trying to figure out what the f happened to their trusted, well-liked button or menu. You do not have the right to inflict this suffering--leave it alone. The UI belongs to the users--NOT to the programmers. If it's not broke, DON'T FIX IT!

How can I get a scroll bar at the bottom of the page so I can see the right side of the page when I am using two windows?

Thank you for the reply, Fred, but when I went to my saved screenshot, I realized that the shortcut on my desktop had opened in IE, not Firefox. There is no scroll bar and the directional arrows do not work. My daughter has been playing with my laptop again. When I set up the same conditions with Firefox, there is no scroll bar, but the arrows function properly, so I can read to the right edge of the page. Now to find someone who knows IE11. When I press the down arrow on the right side of my location bar and history is displayed, how can I get it to display history from most recently accessed site on down?

When I click the down arrow on the right side of the location bar (without having typed a full or partial URL in, I am just clicking the down arrow) a history dropdown is displayed which shows 12 website URLs that I have visited, but there does not appear to be any rhyme or reason as to what is being displayed. How can I cause this dropdown to display sites visited from the most recently accessed on down? And how can I cause more than 12 URLs to be listed in this dropdown? Why I can't I scroll down through my entire history in chronological order from most recently accessed site?

Why is some of the text missing on the right side of a page I send to my printer?

I came across something similar recently where it printed the left hand side only!
If I want to print an email, instead of File > Print ( does not print properly ) I click on the print icon on my email webpage ( do not use applemail and access gmail direct) which then takes me to print preview showing the complete email which prints ok.
Some webpages ( File>Print) do not print properly and some do. Those that do not generally have their own printer icon (path) that needs to be clicked on.
Maybe something to do with encryption but don't know.

Call bar is now vertical on the right side of screen. How do I get it back on the bottom? I've tried rebooting and changing screens but it won't change. I can't find a setting for that call bar.

This isn't a native setting that I can find Relsea. Did you download an application that maybe has this function? Any luck if you reboot the phone by pulling out the battery?

Item 'stored' on the right side of the tool bar of every file

When I open any file there is a file stored on the right side of the tool bar ( in my case the movie Hotel Translyvania). If I double click it the movie will start, however, I don't want it to be there. How do I remove it? How did it get there in the first place?

Two more things.
Your description sounds like it might be limited to the single application named Finder. Do you see it in other applications, perhaps in Open or Save dialogs?
Is it always the same two files?
If it is always the same two files and only in Finder, you may have inadvertantly created shortcuts to them in the Finder folder header then deleted the original files, leaving the shortcuts invalid.
