I am running OSX 10.6.8 and currently have Keynote version 4.0.4 What is the most current version of Keynote that I can run, and where do I find it?
I have a friend who had sent me a document made in a more current version and thus I can't open the file. I am hoping to find a newer version without changing the OS that will allow me to view the document. Is that possible?
It's probably easiest to ask your friend to save it in a format which Keynote 4.0.4 will open. It's possible to run Keynote 5 on Mac OS X 10.6.8, but it requires buying an iWork 09 DVD from a source such as Amazon or eBay.

You should be able to run the latest Mountain Lion - make sure to up your RAM (ML is a bit of a memory hog). -
I'm running OSX 10.6.8. I have final cut studio 6.0.6. The compressor aps won't load. I get a compressor not loaded properly pop-up. I have tried reloading but still no compressor.
Start by repairing permissions. Then remove Compressor using this utility:
FCS Remover - Uninstall Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor, Soundtrack Pro, Color, DVD Studio Pro, LiveType, Cinema Tools
Then reinstall and try to load Compressor. If it fails, post the error statements here.

I'm not aware of any version of Firefox from Fx 2 on up to Fx 6 where "AVG Safe" is not a problem. Crashes aren't the only failures caused.

Facebook (FB) recently restructured their website. After logging on to my FB homepage, some of the graphics are garbled and I am no longer able to post status updates, comment on friend's status updates or pictures, or post pictures using Firefox version 2.0.0.20. I would like to know if there is a newer version of Firefox that will function with a Mac G3 Blue and White desktop running OS 10.3.9 which will be compatible with the new FB? I would upgrade my computer, but have 22+ years of business and tax records that will not function with the newer Mac OS.

Running Firefox 3.6.3 on my aging machine, I got a dialog telling me that I should upgrade. I did. When the update was complete, and the application restarted, I was running Firefox 3.6.24, and shown a page saying:
“Thanks for downloading Firefox, but this version is out of date. Unfortunately your computer's operating system isn't compatible with the most current Firefox learn more, but you are encouraged to download the most recent version that is compatible instead.”
Clicking the link to the “most recent version” took me to a page which said:
“Firefox 3.6.x will be maintained with security and stability updates for a short amount of time. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox.”
There was no other suggested version linked to that page, and the latest version of Firefox is, of course, NOT compatible with my machine.
Mozilla is confusing me here. Why did Firefox drop back within v. 3.6.x from the version I was already running? Why does the site suggest upgrading to an apparently non-existent “latest compatible version” without providing a link to its suggestion?Other browsers that you can look at:

I need to find the most current version of QuickTime that will run on SP1. It is a work laptop and our IS department is reluctant to install SP2 on our systems, but I need to have QuickTime for an upcoming presentation that I am supporting. So any suggestions?

My iphone 5c went black screen and it still can cut on and off and it went black screen when i was on facetime with a friend and could still talk to them perfectly fine.
