I am trying to change the color background in the Sports Theme of Imovie 11

I am using the Pre-Set Theme (Sports) and want to change the theme color from blue to green.  Any ideas of how to do this?

No unfortunately those themes are baked right into iMovie and not to be altered unfortunately. In a manner of speaking, What you see is ALL that you get. Everybody gets the same color no matter what.

At some point, I changed the colors configuration of the Firefox browser window. Perhaps it was something offered in your features. Nonetheless, I like the choices of colors for backgrounds and fonts, but strangely the Menubar is both very dark blue in color, and the font color is black. As a consequence, I have to select the menu options by memory rather than choice; I would prefer reading the options.
My operating system is Kubuntu Meerkat. Usually changing such things is an easy configuration adjustment, however, under your 'preferences' of the edit menu, I could not find a method for improving design error, ie. dark background color/dark font. If possible, I would like to lighten the background to get contrast with the font, or lighten the font color of the Menubar, which is actually preferable. The preferable color is the light gold as used for the other font entries.
Can and will you help me? Thanks in advance. Shabakthanai

how to change the color background in Pages for iPad?

You can find many themes at https://github.com/hdoria/xcode-themes  There's a download zip button on the right side of the page.
Unzip and and copy the .dvtcolortheme files into /Users/YourUsername/Library/Developer/XCode/UserData/FontAndColorThemes Create the directory if it doesn't exist.
If you can't find the Library directory you can get to it by using Finder's "Go to Folder..." option under "Go" or press shift + cmd + G then type the path.

  • How do I change the color of all the text in a PDF?

    Hi.
I have a large PDF, over 1000 pages. Some of the text is highlighted which makes it difficult to see on my preferred document background. In Acrobat XI how do I change the color of all the text in the document back to black please? Although solutions using any other software will be much appreciated too.
I searched this forum already, and the same question was asked back in 2007 when it appears the only solution was to use an expensive third party plugin.
    Thanks.

I know of no new solutions since 2007 except the ones you found.
You could use the Accessibility Preferences > Change Document Colors to choose a text color. However, this is an individual preference and cannot be set as a default for others opening the document.

  • CSS - Setting the color attribute of the commandMenuItem

    Hello
Under the menuBar in Jdeveloper resides an item called commandMenuItem. The
color of this item always defaults to a Golden Brown Color. I can change the color
attribute under the properties navigator and it takes the new color. However I'd like to have an item in the CSS to define the color of all the commandMenuItems.
Is there a way of doing this.
    Any Help will be appreciated
    Regards
    Kes Moodley

    Hi,
I am specifically interested in setting the text color of the .AFMenuBarItem. I have tried setting this color attribute in the CSS and it does not seem to take.
The reference you pointed me to refers to the background and foreground color of the menu Bar. This is different to the text color on the menu Bar.
    Thanks,
    Kes

  • Where is the Color facility in the Control Panel?

I can't change push button attributes and from the posts I've read, I should change them in the Color facility in the Control Panel. But I can't find this.
I am using forms 9i, and Windows XP Pro.

What is it that you want to do??? As far as I understand, you want to change your environment settings to get a different color????? That's a bit odd, since you will get that with every application. And you said you can't change push button attributes???? Also odd. Or do you mean you're not allowed to change the colors?
Anyway... you can change the color of the button within formsbuilder. Select the button then open the properties panel and change property background color.

  • Image based of all the colors currently in the swatch

Are there anyone who know a method or script that enables generation of an image based of all the colors currently in the swatch?
I would want it to fill a grid, with a patch of the color with the colors name underneath it, and with the name of the swatch as a header on a black background. Maybe even with the lab, cmyk and rgb values underneath each color.
The colors need to be arranged in the same manner as in the swatch.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure this is possible, but you might want to post this in the scripting forum or on ps-scripts.com.  Here is a link to a topic along the lines that you want on ps-scripts.com:

My mac book pro will not fully boot up. I have the grey background with the apple sign and the timer going round...but 20 minutes later still no desktop

You could try doing a hard shut down (holding the power button or yanking the battery) and then doing a safe boot by holding the shift key at startup:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455
Also, not sure if this applies in your case, but I've had that happen when there's a USB drive inserted either in the computer or a connected external keyboard.  I did a hard shut down, removed the drive and it went through a normal start up.

This is probably one of the files that is required by the template you are using.
These files are inside the iWeb app. Control click the iWeb app icon and select "Show package contents".
You need to dig down through the folders and files to find what you want...
    Contents/Resources/da.lproj/Templates/
If the file is missing you would need to re install the iWeb app...

Will not having any ink in the color cartage cause the printer to fail the alignment test.

    Hi,
Yes. Usually the printer uses a combination of black and colour blocks to perform an aligment.  The specific patterns differ from printer to printer but the pattern is either read by an internal sensor or you have to take the page and put it on the scanner to scan the alignment page in some all-in-one printers.

  • Is the color accurate on the new MBP 15" vs a Cinema Display?

I currently have a 2.4GHz MacBook and the screen is very inaccurate as far as color reproduction goes. As such, I've had to get the 24" LED Cinema Display to work on. It's great, but I really enjoy being able to work away from my desk in Aperture, Adobe CS4, etc...
So - I've been considering getting a new MacBook Pro 15" which seems to have a MUCH better screen. I went to the Apple Store today and they had a 15" MBP connected to the LED Cinema Display. I had uploaded a couple JPGs to my iDisk so I could compare Apples to Apples.
Unfortunately I'm a bit more confused now than I was before. The colors on both the LED Cinema Display and the MacBook Pro look equally good and equally correct - but that said, they are very different. The JPGS I looked at had different tones, brightness, etc when viewed at the same time on both screens.
So... which one is correct? I can't spend time designing print materials only to have them go to print and be way off.
Any input regarding which screen is true to color/hue/tone/etc???

    Hi Jeremy,
I'll preface this comment by stating that I'm not a professional photographer or anything of that nature at all. I don't have any professional knowledge of these panels, just anecdotal knowledge and what I've learned from reading over the last few years.
The MBP displays are very good for notebook displays. In fact, you will be hard-pressed to find a better looking screen in a notebook computer, especially for the same price. The displays in the MBP are noticeably superior to those in the MB, as you know. That said, they are still TN panels (though some of the best TN panels), which are considered the "worst" type of display for color accuracy. The reason Apple uses them are they are thinner, lighter, and more efficient than S-IPS panels, which are magnitudes more color accurate.
The Cinema Displays are (and have been for a while) certified S-IPS panels. Properly calibrated, they are some of the best LCD screens (for the money) you can get for proper color reproduction. There are, of course, much better screens, but they'll cost you.
Take a look at the following links I just found, they can explain this better than I can!
    http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/guides/lcd-panel-types.php
    http://www.digitalversus.com/news_id-6441.html
    So... which one is correct?
In short, the Cinema is correct. You'll want to keep your Cinema, even with the MBP, if you need the most accurate color to print.
