It works ok sometimes but recently it has been asking me to update my details. Ok. Then it says payment method declined even when I Know there's money in my bank and I've even phoned bank to check. So what's going on. I want a FREE app and this is really spoiling my IPad experience.

Hello i need some serious HELP, when I go on app store and then on featured, I press 'free app' and then it says 'install app' and then I click on 'use existing apple id' - so then I enter my username and password, then all my bank details ans everything else, there all correct but then it comes up with... 'your payment method was declined, please enter another payment method' - all I want is FREE apps, no paid ones? Is there anyway I could get around this? - I have noticed a lot of people are having this problem HELPPPPP lol x

I have just tried to install the full version of Anthill to my iPod touch Gen 4. I get a message on the iPod saying "Anthill failed to install" and an error on the computer "OxE8000004". I already had Anthill Free installed so deleted it in case it was interferring with the new download. I can install other free apps but now can't even install Anthill Free. I have tried the 7 resolution steps advised by Apple and have totally run out of ideas as to what I can try next. I am using a new laptop since installing Anthill Free the first time and am now running Windows 7, otherwise everything else is the same. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

I tried to install the Watch ABC (a free app) on my iPad from the AppStore. It would not download. I attempted to install it a second time, and got the message "You've already purchased this, so it will downloaded now at no additional charge." Any advice? This is a fee app so I do not understand the message referencing a purchased app. I get the cloud symbol, but it will not download. I closed the App Store app and restarted my iPad, but to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
You are aware that there the app may have downloaded and been placed on the second screen. Not the main one. Can you swipe to the right to see if it is there?

I'm on Vacation with no access to my Mac. But had tried Sync. My software update is iOS 6.0.1. I've tried another WiFi network. I read your comment of deleting Apps for stuck update. So removed all Apps! Can't even install Free Apps. Now using my Kindle

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever. -

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Are you currently in the country where your iTunes account is based ? You won't be charged for downloading free apps (some free apps do then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features, though you can turn that off via Settings > General > Restritions > In-App Purchases 'off'), but if you add or change the credit card details on your account then you are likely to receive a temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - that should disappear within a few days or so.

Tried to install epson iprint. In apps there is no FREE or INSTALL just open.
I am trying to install the epson iprint app for ipad 2. When I go into apps and select epson iprint, it takes me straight to it. Where it usually says free and then install it says OPEN. It then works like the app is downloaded. When I go out of apps there is no icon.

Likely because you are trying to create a Mac App Store account with an existing Apple ID. The None option often is not available in that case. If you create a new Apple ID and iTunes/Mac App Store account following these instructions carefully, you will be successful in getting free apps without a payment method.

I tried to buy an app init the app store with my registered debit card. Due to insufficient funds payment was rejected. However whenever i try to download a free app now iTunes will not allow until this payments completed!!!! this is so frustrating. Help

i have iphone 3g. i was working well. about 2 months earlier i bought an app of $2.99. after then every thing was okay. but last week i installed some free games and 2 days later itunes send me a reciept via email and you guyz charged me $34. now whenever i try to install free apps they want my billing info. please i need your help and want those money back.
$34 for free games , i will show u the reciept. if its not possible to get the money back i will forced to take proper action.
thank you sir /madam.The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

I have an appleid for use in the Canadian App Store. I browse to the Canadian store, select a free app to install on my iPad, and get an arror message indicating that I cant use my appleid in the US store. I cant find any place where the setting might be cached. Any suggestions?
