I am trying to reset my password, but Apple is not sending me the Verification email... what can I do?
I reset my password for my Apple ID, but now it says I need to confirm the change. It said it sent me a verification email, and I need to follow the link to do so. However, I am not getting the verification email at all. I have resent it multiple times, but to no avail. What can I do to fix this?
It's not in the Junk Folder... Thank you though.

My IMAC screen went to sleep and I have it set to enter a password upon waking it up. I pushed in the button on the top right corner. It turns a green light on and then it goes off. I held it in until it started blinking. It blinks for a bit and then the green light turns off. I am still not able to type my password. What should I do now?

As it says in the title. I only have one email address (which is also my Apple ID of course) so I'm certain that these emails aren't going to another address, just not arriving at all. Have tried multiple times.

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you are attempting to reset the password for your Apple ID. It may be possible that you have a rescue email address setup, and the password reset email is being sent to that address:
When you provide a rescue email address, all future security emails, such as password resets from iForgot, will be sent to the address provided. The rescue email address you provide cannot be the same as your primary email address for your Apple ID.

Please help me. I just dropped my IPhone 5S on the floor by accident. Is completely dead. I tried to turn it on, but nothing happens. Black screen, no notice,nothing at all. What can I do?
Take it to an Apple store and have them check it out.
It may be something simple (connector popped off).
If not, out of warranty replacement (accidental damage) is $269. -
I have another apple ID but I forgot the password and apple does not send the link to reset it to my email. What do I do to have it back? It is really important.
If you know the answers to your security question for the ID you can use that method to reset the password rather than email (by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid).
If you don't, you'll have to contact iTunes Store support for assistance: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. They frequently deal with Apple ID issues. -

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I reset my IPAD password but the verification email wasn't sent to my primary or secondary email address. Without the verification email I can't complete the password change process. Any recommendations?
Great tip from dorothy. Also, some isp services are more aggressive from others in filtering what they think might be spam. You might check your spam file from a computer, and see if the verification e mails are sitting there. When i wen through the process, the verification e mail came to the new e mail address in under a couple of minutes.

Are you formatting it correctly? - username @ someDomain .com <- NO Spaces (I did it so the system wouldn't make an email link out of it)
Tell us what happens when you realize that Apple is "not recognizing" your email. What message do you get, exactly? Take screenshot of the entire screen for context

Just sign the old user ouf of the store, and sign back in with your AppleID and password.
Just scroll down to the bottom of the store screen, click on the Apple ID bar, click on sign out, then sign back in with your AppleID.
Note though that if the phone already has apps on it purchased by the previous owner, those are permanently tied to the previous owners Apple ID - you would need their password to update any of those apps. The only option to you to update any of them would be to delete them, and purchase them yourself using your own Apple ID. -
iCloud has my old Apple ID and is prompting for a password, but I want to put in the new id, I can't because it is grey and there is no edit option. I'm prompted for a password to an account that doesn't exist. Anyone know what I can do to fix this or why this is happening.? I had no issue putting in my new Apple ID everywhere else, I could sign out of the old and inactive account and then sign back in using my new and proper one. However, after the update to 7.3 it did a whole welcome to yr iPad and a set up thing and it went to set up iCloud and had my old Apple ID in grey where I can't change or edit it, it wants the password, when I put in the old password, it say yr Apple ID is incorrect but yet it won't let me change it??????? Anyone???
Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

What can I do?I assume that you mean that all you see on the screen is the Apple logo and it hasn't changed for hours from that screen. You may need to restore using recovery mode, since your iPad is not being recognized in iTunes.

But - did you try this first?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I have an account for apple but this is not acceptable for i cloud. It say it is correct ID and password but this is not icloud account. So my phone can not connect with my computer and not synchronization too. Last a few months i have not use this phone. Just i start to use again. I changed laptops and went from Vista to Windows 8. It requires icloud. I did icloud setup but it will not allow me access and wants to give me a new password. That is OK but it will not send me the promised password even though itunes recognizes my password
This has been posted for almost 2 weeks and not one reply. Thanks a bunch! As a newbie to OOo and Mozilla, I am not impressed with responsiveness to support needs with either. So, the future of my new experiment with going non-Microsoft remains an open question.
Oddly enough, the problem mysteriously went away. I have followed the same routine and changed no settings. Suddenly all of the downloaded spreadsheets were no longer read-only. So I consider the matter resolved.
