Restore the phone as a new device. There is probably something that was corrupted on your phone during the update and has been passed via the backup to the replacement phone. If the corruption/problem is contained in the backup, you'll need to re-sync your data, and re-install your apps manually. Restoring the backup again will only bring the problem back with it.
If restoring it as new does not fix it, then make an appointment at the genius bar.

hello all i have an issue with my hours app on my iphone4 when i touch to open it does not open, it flashes as if but then goes back to icon screen. whta the heck?
Have you tried closing the app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the My Hours app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the My Hours app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

Can't find the captured screen file on my Desktop, Please help!
I'm using OS X 10.5.6 for a while but the problem just occurred recently (it worked fine before) I don't know why. I update the system often.
I used the ShiftControl+Command3 or 4 shortcut but it doesn't work, I heard the shutter sound but the file doesn't appear on my Desktop. I did use spotlight to find the file but I found only the old captured images. The Grab utility is still fine but it's a lot easier to use the shortcut function.
If you have a solution, please help!
Thanks.Shift-Command-3 or 4 puts the screen shot as Picture n.png (n being the next available number). Adding the control key to the set instead puts the screen shot on the clipboard to paste in somewhere.

Bought used iphone 4 at xmas all fine until update for ios 6.1 came up and i hit install. Now all i get is flashing logo. know nothing bout tech...im old.lol tried hookin up to computer and it went to dfu mode but then flashing logo happening again. Dont know if phone is jailbroken? has cydia store on it. How can i get reset or get it to work again?? Help!!
Apple will not touch a jailbroken device.
You can try restoring as new, but it is not always possible to restore a jailbroken device to a pristine state.
If possible, return the device to the person or store that it was purchased for refund. -

Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.
Relaunch the App and try again.

Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)

Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem. -

This happened awhile ago when trying to download the new Software for it (4.2), but wouldn't let me and stuck with Software 2.2.1. I put my music back on it and worked fine. Till I tried to open Music, Video or iTunes App on the iPod.
Anyways I gave up on it and didn't care till now. I've restored it (Power+Home Button) and tried Erase All Content and Settings. Still doesn't work no matter what I do. I can't restore it from iTunes because it tries to update it and that won't work.Not a good error:
