I backed up my phone and now when I plug in my phone and it takes me to the set up as new or restore this from backup page
I backed up my phone yesterday and when I go to plug in my iPhone it doesn't even show my phone I'm stuck on the page that says "set up as new " or "restore from backup" now yesterday when I did this it said that it couldn't recognize my phone and no this morning I can't accessy phone at all. As for data backup if you baid 200.00 for a cruddy job for just picture backups and a reinstallation of Windows, thats pretty bad.

Just to be clear: Tap on the Photos app to start the app. Then tap on Albums at the bottom of the screen. You might have several albums but only one is named "Camera Roll." Are there photos in that album?
If there are NO photos in the Camera Roll album there are no pictures to import. The remaining albums might have come from a sync with your computer or they might be your PhotoStream.
If there ARE photos in the Camera Roll album, connect your iPhone to your computer and start your camera application on the computer. Your phone should be recognized as a camera. -
I upgraded itunes since a pop up stated that I would have to upgrade it so it can recognize my iphone5's new software. I upgraded the itunes and now when I plug in the iphone its asking "set up as new iphone" will this delete everything on my phone? Also why is it forcing me to set up as a new iphone, why doesn't it recognize it like it did before I upgraded iTunes. I'm afaid I will lose all my apps, music, pictures etc. please help. thank you.
You are correct. Corrupted files are in the backup. If you've already restored the iPhone it has been erased and starting over is the way to go in order to eliminate the corrupted files.

Iphoto froze in the middle of an import. Had to unplug my phone and walk away for a minute while it was still frozen. Now it says it's importing photos even though nothing is plugged in. Open iTunes and connect your iPod. Select your iPod in iTunes from the Source list. (I'm assuming this still works, although you didn't indicate if it did or didn't.) Make sure the box is checked to Open iTunes when this device is connected. You should be all set!

I think that we all understood what you meant. If the extension cord is no longer working, then return it.
We are all trying to tell you that you can plug the power block into a standard household extension cord - using the short cord that came with the iPad - and there is no need for the extension cord that you bought.
