Although iTune terms says that all sales are final. You can try explaining to get a refund.

Have you talked to your carrier to confirm the unlock?
What was the procedure you did to unlock the phone?
Standard unlocking procedure once processed by the carrier:
Backup in iTunes
Erase the phone (ignore restore terminology here)
Plug the phone to the computer and then launch iTunes
Wait for unlock notification.
Restore the backup.

HT2404 I can only download apps from Apple Store. What changes do I make to download third party apps. ?

I am in the process of adding Adobe "digital additions" for ebooks from my public library.
my system will only accept apps from the App store.

Go into System>Security and Privacy. Under "Allow Apps downdoaded from:" Check the box that says "Anywhere".

Unable to download or update apps from mac store

I am unable to download ANY apps from mac store. It was working just fine but some two weeks ago mac store stopped updating and downloading apps. i tried clearing the temp folder, deleted the appstore temp files. But still i am getting the error. My itunes version is the latest 11.1.5. Any idea why this error wont go away?

Hi, I had the same question and I just asked the "iTunes Store/Mac App Store Customer Support" this question. They basically said that if I purchased "The Dark Knight Trilogy" I would be charged for all three movies, even though I have previously bought the two of the three movies.
It appears that movie bundles doesn't work like "complete my album" for music. If you purchased recently, you could try explaining the situation to the iTunes Support staff and seeing if they will remove "the Dark Knife Rises" by giving you store credit, then you can purchase the Trilogy instead. It could be worth a try.

You probably already fixed the issue with a restore, but this issue seems to be resolved very simply (at least on the iPhone) by going to SETTINGS | GENERAL | RESET and choosing "Reset All Settings" (note that choosing to reset your "settings" does not erase any of your data, apps, etc).

hello i want to get an app from another store , i am from india so use indian app store but i want to get textplus which is not available on indian store it is available on us store and text plus is a free app
so i was thinking that can i make a fake id or something like to get an app from itunes using that fake id and then installed it in my ipod touch??
and is it legal ? i dont want to do anything stupid with my ipod

if you have access to another apple id that has been created in that country you can do this, for example I travel frequently between two countries, I have a billing address in both, I create 2 apple id, one for each country.
I can purchase from either store as long as I am logged into the corresponding ID for that country. No matter where I am geographically located.
The main thing you need to be aware of is it you switch to many times between the stores, it will stop allowing you log into one of them, not sure what the actuall number of switches is though....

No, you can only buy and download content from your own country's store - to be able to buy from the US store you will need to be in the US with a US billing address on your account. You can try requesting that the app be add to the Mongolia store, but ultimately it's the app's developer that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

You have to be in a country, and have a billing address in that country, to download from its store.
