The warranty is not and has never been International. Warranty and support are only valid in the country of origin. The only exception is for devices sold in the EU where the EU is treated as one country for warranty and support purposes.

If you forgot the passcode, you'll have to restore it to remove the passcode, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. If it is running iOS 7 with Find My iPhone enabled, you'll have to force it into recovery mode in order to restore it, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 (or erase it using Find My iPhone on icloud.com).

Ok, so my mother has decided to decorate the living room and I have recently discovered she's unplugged the Internet and it will be off for 2 weeks.
However I have been so excited for apples iOS 7 that is due to release on wedensday 18th and I was wandering if I can update using my mobile data or will I only be able to update thu wifi ? (I get unlimited Internet and my contracts capped so I'm not worried about going over my contract) ?No. Any downloads over 50 MB, including iOS updates, MUST be done via WiFi or using your computer via iTunes. Go to a library, or Starbucks, or McDonalds, or someplace else where you can get WiFi access to download it if you're that desparate.

Go to icloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password, choose Find My iPhone and find your device and remove it from your account. Then restore.

No. Return it and get your money back if still within the 30 day return window. All US iPhones are carrier locked and cannot be officially unlocked.

Hey I bought an iPhone off gumtree and everything was well. But then I tried to set it up and it asked for the apple if of the previous owner and so I asked him for it his Apple ID but refused to tell me so I can not use the phone. how do I fix this?

Sorry... But... The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.

device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some

I bought my iPhone on Friday and when I tried to use it to make a call (after I had left the store) the screen had turned green - as if a green filter had been placed over it. When I turned the phone sideways the color turned to magenta. Anyone else have this problem? I plan on exchanging the phone but can't get there until later this week.

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

You won't be able to open it on your computer, ibooks can currently only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. How were you trying to get it to your phone, syncing it by selecting it on the iPhone's Books tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, or by dragging-and-dropping it from the Books part of your iTunes library over and onto the iPhone 'device' ? Another option is to try re-downloading it directly in the iBooks app on your iPhone via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in it (re-downloading).
