I bought my iPhone 5 from Australia,one year old now it's got cracked from back sides can it be exchanged or can i get off on iPhone 5s if I return this!!! Or can the body be changed
Apple will offer you an out of warranty replacement, cost is US $269. You will get exactly what you have now...same model, color & size.
Be aware, if you purchased the phone in Australia, you can only do an out of warranty exchange in Australia.

Hello I lived in Australia for 3.5 years, using a 3G and a 4G iphone. In April I moved back to the USA and would like to use one of these iphones. I understand Australia iphones use a GSM language and AT&T is the only carrier that will allow me to use for the GSM. When trying to sign up with AT&T, the SIM card would not work. When visiting Apple in Walnut Creek, CA, they said that these iphones I have cannot be used in the USA.
Before moving back to the USA, I visited the Apple Store near Sydney and they said I could unlock them to use them in the USA. THey did something with the 3G iphone, but when I was at AT&T in Walnut Creek, I could not get the 3G to work.
Bottom line: can I use either my 3G or 4G iphone that I bought in Australia here in the USA?

So I bought this iPhone 5 probably a year ago now, and I want to exchange it for a new iPhone 5, or if possible an iPhone 5s (if they don't have iPhone 5 anymore), idk.

But a friend here in Mexico actually just exchanged his and they didn't charged him a thing. Is this also the same in the US? Can I exchange it here in Mexico? i bought my iphone 4 about a year ago and just decided to upgrade it to ios5 just recently. My phone restored to to its factory settings and when I clicked continue restore from back up it is now asking a backup password which i dont remember setting up one. I am currently using a windows vista PC. How can I retrieve the password or restore all my old data into the new OS. I have been reading blogs about the same situation and is it true that it is one of apple's bugs?
It is NOT a bug. You provided a password. If you can't remember it, you can't restore your phone from backup. Very simple.

Insert a SIM card. If the phone is carrier locked, it must be from the correct carrier. You MUST have a SIM card present to activate the device. The SIM does NOT have to be "live". That is to say, the account it is/was tied to, does not have to be active.

I purchased an iphone 4 from Dubai around a year ago. FaceTime -as some of you know - is blocked there .
Since I live in Muscat- Oman, FaceTime is not blocked .
The thing is that FaceTime won't work ! Is there any settings related to the IP address and the DNS that can be changed to activate FaceTime here in Oman?
A general form of the question is : if I bought an iphone from a country that blocks FaceTime , how can it be activated in others that allows it ?Are you absloutly sure?

I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -

The warranty is not and has never been International. Warranty and support are only valid in the country of origin. The only exception is for devices sold in the EU where the EU is treated as one country for warranty and support purposes.

Only Orange Jordan can unlock this phone for you, provided that they offer this service. You can't use UAE SIM in this phone or it will get locked.

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

One question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?
iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.
