No not really. If this is a brand new Macbook Pro take it back for a refund. Apple has a 14 day No Questions Asked return policy for Full refund.
Take it back, get the Full Refund (DO NOT LET THEM TRY TO FIX IT. YOU BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER NOT ONE THAT HAS BEEN WORKED ON OR NEEDS TO BE FIXED) and then decide whether to buy another Macbook Pro or the iMac. Or you could return it, get the Full refund and buy some other brand computer.

I was told I could sync my music on my pc with my ipad2 by an apple agent. I hooked my ipad2 up to my pc and did so, but now I can not open any of my apps on my ipad2. when I try it just flickers and does not open. Can anyone help?
On you iPad, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it on by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPad:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, try your Apps again and see if this resolves the issue. -

Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

I bought a used iPad, restored it and set it up as "new iPad" it worked perfectly, this morning when I turned on, it asked to be activated, I entered my iTon account and password several time correctly, i got massages hat "your iPad could not be activated because activation server is unavailable. Try to connect your iPad to iToo o activate" connected to iToon, it does not recognize my iPad and keeps giving the name of the of my wife's iPad and I cannot do anything even restore the Pad again because it asked to turn of the find "my iPad" off that I cannot do because I cannot get pass activation. can you help me?

I bought a second hand G4 iBook with iLife 09 on it. I have copied iLife to my new Macbook Pro. The applications would not open, so I did a software update and update all three applications, but they will still not open. Can anyone help?
The seller should have given you the original disk so that you can reinstall as needed. But it likely was a single-user license (which really means single computer) so you can only have a copy on one computer at a time. If the seller didn't give you the disk he is probably still using the software on his new Mac. Your best option to get any of the iWork apps to use in OS X 10.6.6 or later is through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac you have that has access to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID.

Just need to plug the TC in to the hub in bridge mode.. do not try and bridge the homehub.. it is not possible with the setup BT uses.
To bridge the TC.. plug it directly into a computer by ethernet.. no other connection to the TC or the computer.
Press and hold in reset until the front LED flashes rapidly.. about 10sec.
Release the reset.
Open the airport utility and setup the TC to bridge mode.
The actual method depends on version of the OS and airport utility you use.
This is version 5.
Sorry I cannot post the v6 as I am on a snow leopard computer now. But you go to the network tab, and choose off bridge mode for method of connection. It will be NAT and dhcp by default.
Then setup wireless.. you have a number of choices here.
Either setup with the same SSID Security and password, as the homehub uses.. or a different name, and password..
Each method works fine.. but you sometimes have issues with wireless channels.. for now leave it on auto and see what happens.. if you have issues lock down the radio channels on both devices.. use one out of the following on each, 1, 6, 11 or 13 in UK.. so say 6 on the homehub then 13 onthe TC.
Update the TC.. unplug fromt the computer and plug it into the homehub.
If you have other issues with the setup tell us what OS you run so we can post suitable screenshots. -
Since updating iPhoto it has ceased to open. I have tried to Hold down the Command and Option keys on the keyboard which is the suggested solution to then open a suggested solution to rebuild the library, but it does not work. iPhoto still does not open. can someone please help?

3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.

When I open my mail account I keep getting the message "Checking for Mail". I deleted the yahoo account and set it up again and I am still getting the same issue plus I am not seeing any of my mail or folders. Can anyone help?
This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.
