You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

Bought a new iPhone 6 and synced from iTunes but vibration doesn't work. I did the reset option using side and home buttons but in vain. Please don't tell me to set up a new device coz its gonna be a hassle restoring apps, emails, contacs...etc.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

I bought an app from the app store, it said there was an error downloading and it did not download but apple still took money off my apple account, how do i get my money back?
From the App Store meny bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
And check your Applications folder for the app.

My Itunes account was hacked and my Apple ID was disabled. I followed the instructions from APPLE to backup and restore from Itunes but that did not work. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!
Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.
I fail to see how restoring your iPad would enable yoyr Apple ID. -
Hello, trying to download the latest iTunes software version, a pop up comes with a "invalid signature" message. Try to do download only with the same results. I can buy and download from iTunes but can't get the latest version?

I am getting emails from itunes asking me to renew my ID with bank account, creditcard and sortcode! to much information to be credible. anybody else have this problem?
They are not from Apple/iTunes, they are phishing attempts to try and get your account and payment details - don't click on any of the links in them.

MY touch will not come on all of a sudden, but when i plug it in it has to boot up and will shut itself down. i have rebooted it to factroy settings and reloaded back up from itunes but still will not work. does anyone have an ideal what would have cauced it to start and how i can fix it?
If you restored to factory defaults/new iPod and are still haveing the problem than an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

To rent a film, find the film in the store and (if the film studio has made it available as a rental in your country) click on its Rent button. If that doesn't work then you should be able to remove your card's details after entering them.

When making purchases, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits; your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance. -

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
I've installed and uninstalled my itunes about like 30 times, I've restarted my ipod and everything. It keeps saying it wont be detected. I tried plugging it into my friends computer and it worked but it wont work on mine. And I know I need the 64 bit. Help?

Said the account was then not the right information...reposted my new bank account information that I wanted to get billed and it charged me on both accounts.
