I can not be heard when i answer the phone

I can hear people when they call me but they can not hear me when I talk. my messaging and everything else works fine. Any suggestions??

Thank you for the feedback. I still cannot locate the actual Audio file to listen to the book though. I can look on my iPhone and see that it says the book is downloaded but I cannot find it anywhere on the actual phone. I can listen to the Audiobook from my computer, but can't see it anywhere on my iPhone, which is where I really need it. When I plug in my old iPhone 4, it is still listed and I can listen to it.
It is not listed under Music, TV Shows, Movies, Audiobooks, Tones, Purchased or Downloads.

Once I clicked on "Purchased" on the iPhone 4...my Audio files are listed and I could click on them and play.

Now when I try to go to the same screen on my new iPhone 5, the Purchased button doesn't exist on my Downloads screen and I can't seem to locate the actual Audio Files anywhere, although the phone says they are downloaded and the iTunes App on my PC states that they synched to the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Because Firefox sucks that way. I have the same problem. Royal pain in the @$$. I have to use the task manager to duck out of it, or you have to w8 & count to 10...lol. Stupid program.

The photo screen only shows a black screen. The button to take photos is locked the entire time. I've turned the phone on and off several times.

Basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have these ALL been tried?

YOu will have to contact your cell provider to get the password, voicemail is a carrier feature.

Is Find My Phone turned on?
You'll have to login to iCloud.com, from any computer, locate, then erase your phone. Once done, restore from backup, if you have one.
That's the only way for you to fix this.

Every time I am asked for my Apple password, I put it in and then it is not recognized. When I answer the security question, I am told it is wrong. I reset the password, try again, and we start all over again. Not recognized.

Have you changed the email address associated with the Apple ID? I did, and learned the hard way that it caused a lot of problems. I had to delete that ID and create a new one, then it caused problems with iCloud because of my old email address. If that's not the case, you might need to set up a new Apple ID altogether. Sounds like a pain, but it's not too hard, and you only need to create a new email address. You can also set up new security questions for the new ID and it should be recognized when you enter the information in iTunes, the App Store, etc. If that doesn't work, I recommend calling Apple and explaining the situation. I'm fairly certain this is expected behavior if you have a CDMA carrier like Verizon or Sprint. The phone cannot handle being on a call and using data to receive messages or email.
Someone else may be able to further clarify.

Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I understand you are having issues with sound output on your iPhone 4S. For troubleshooting steps, the following article provides the best information:

1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
3. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
5. For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
6. If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
7. Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
8. If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (choose Settings > General > Bluetooth).
9. Restart the iPhone.
10. If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
11. If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.

I do not recieve texts from iMessage friends when I am not connected to the internet(wifi nor 3G). Am I supposed to, if so is there a setting on my part to fix this? Even the techs at my provider can not give me a definative answer.

iMessage uses data not your messaging plan. You need to have either Wi-Fi or cellular data turned on to use iMessage

I tried to sync music from iTunes to my iPhone and when I click on "on this phone" the songs are there, but they are greyed out and have a circle in front of them. I can not click on those songs and when I eject the phone they are not on the phone.

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.
