I can send item from my macbook air to my phone using bluetooth but i can't seem to receive them from my phone it always says sending failed
I have paired my phone and my macbook air using the bluetooth and I can send files from my macbook air to my phone but I cant seem to send them from my phone to the computer.
When browsing my phone using the bluetooth on the macbook air it doesnt come up with any files.
What can I do to send my files to my laptop from my phone?
Have you enabled Bluetooth Sharing in the Sharing system preferences pane on your Mac?

Have you checked that they are selected in System Preferences>Sound>Output tab?
If that doesn't help, and although I've never had to use it myself, I've read on here occasionally that launching Audio MIDI Setup in the Utilities folder and messing with the settings in there can sometimes sort out audio problems. -

Check the iPhoto preferences:
From the main menu bar: iPhoto > Preferences > General:
"Connecting camera opens" : Set this option to "iPhoto".
If that does not help, disconnect your iPhone and reset your iPhone.
To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -

The only supported Bluetooth function between a Mac and iPhone is internet tethering. -

No computer can do a thing without using memory. 1.5 GB is very little. It's normal.
3 or so hours from a full charge may also be normal, for what you are doing. As batteries age, they don't last as long on a full charge as they did when they were new. All batteries eventually wear out, and are easily replaceable. -

Please help me..It is really not relevant what you buy; especially with electronics, your item is "outdated" as soon as you get it home because there will always be a newer, bigger, better things out there.
Does your machine no longer do what you need it to do? If so, sell it, and buy a new one. If it does what you need, then keep it and work with it.
Apple allows for returns within the first 14 days; you can try going to a store and seeing if they will make an exception, but I would not expect it. -

They have an iOS device? If so, have them send as an SMS, not an iMessage.

Macbook air won't pair to bluetooth
My macbook air won't pair with bluetooth capable devices. It'll show that my iPhone 5 is paired but for error reasons won't connect. It used to be able to connect to bluetooth no problem...but after a harddrive crash on a new macbook air, it hasn't worked since. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You seem to want to argue. I KNOW there is no limit to the number of devices...the POINT is that if it was paired with another computer, it NEEDS to be deleted from that computer.
Incidentally, I assumed you wanted help. If you wish to decide you already have the answer, I will not waste any more of my time.

Try this...
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again. -
