I can't correct my podshow information in the iTunes Store

Help! I have a faulty link that is not the correct one for the Molly and Sonny Boy Vodcast-Podcast
This is the correct link for our show
http://www.podshow.com/feeds/mollyandsonnyboypo dcast.xml
Anyway I can fix this so folks can continue receiving the lasted updated podcast?

Uh, I took a look at your feed (within a browser and through iTunes) and I don't believe an incorrect URL for you feed is the issue. iTunes is using the exact same URL for the feed as the one you posted above.
So your problem is obviously somewhere else . . . Feed Validator says your feed is valid, so that makes things a little easier to narrow down. I believe your problem is one or both of two things:
1) you are podcasting .wmv files
- .wmv and .wma files are not supported in the iTunes Store. You are going to have to use a supported format such as .m4a, .mp3, .mov, .mp4, .m4v, or .pdf. (See the iTunes tech spec.)
2) you are using CDATA in your code
- The tech spec says specifically that they do not recommend using CDATA in your feed if you are going to publish it on iTunes. I think it confuses their feed reader.
I think if you fix these two problems and ping iTunes, your podcasts may show up. You are clearly on the right track, as your album art shows up, and so does your description. You just need to tweak it a bit.
Lots of luck,
Peach

    Hi  I am Del
I am trying to rent a movie on my Apple tv keep getting the message - verification required before you can make purchases you must go to the itunes store on your computer and verify your payment information
    Thanks

Have you paired your Apple Tv with your iTunes account?  That's how rentals and purchases are billed.  If, however, you have already done that it is possible that there is a glitch in the system.  I've had that happen occasionally and it usually goes away if I reset Apple Tv.  On one occasion that I didn't work so I had to go to iTunes and deauthorize and then authorize this computer.  Also, check to see if your Home Sharing is on (under File in iTunes).  Hope that helps.

how can i use my apple ID with the itune store over my windows laptop

If you don't have iTunes installed on your laptop then you can download and install it from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can then log into your account on it via the Store > Sign In menu option (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can get the menus to show via control-B) :
And you can then select the Store on the left-hand sidebar (you can enable the sidebar via control-S), and then browse items in the store and buy them by clickin on their price.

  • Why can't Apple TV stream movies like the iTunes store can?

I'm in the UK with an Apple TV 2nd Gen. 9Mb/s broadband speed checked and have conclusively failed to rent one single movie since I bought this a year ago. Every time I log in, select the film, purchase it, hit play and all I get is "connection error please try later" Playing movie trailers and everything else is fine. Surely the point of renting a movie online is so you can watch it straight away. Lovefilm works just fine via my PS3.
The other day I tried again on Apple TV with the same error so figured I'd try and rent the movie direct from iTunes Store on my laptop, hey presto, 2 mins later I'm watching my film via my Macbook Pro hooked up to my TV.
So the big question is: Why can not Apple TV stream a movie like the iTunes Store can? Of course I appreciate that a certain amount of buffering has to happen but that is never evident on Apple TV.
    Anyone got any ideas?
    Thanks.

    Intermittent problems
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.
    Consistent Problems
A frequent cause of consistent failure to enable AirPlay or HomeSharing at all, is the service being blocked on the network. Make sure your network isn't hidden, has a unique name, that MAC address authentication is disabled, security is set to use WPA 2 Personal and that there is only one router/device acting as a DHCP server and providing NAT services.
Make sure your router/computer allows access over the following ports
    Port
    Type
    Protocol
    Used By
    80
    TCP
    HTTP
    AirPlay

    MDNS (Win)
    Bonjour/AirPlay
    49163
    UDP
    MDNS (Win)
    Bonjour/AirPlay
Refer to your router manual/manufacturer for any settings that are specific to that model.
Another frequent cause of consistent failure to enable AirPlay or HomeSharing at all, is security software, in many cases configuring it correctly, disabling it or even uninstalling it can help, but in some cases the security software can cause problems that simply reconfiguring, disabling or uninstalling cannot reverse.
If you are consistently unable to activate AirPlay, have tried all the steps in this article and have security software installed on your system, you might benefit from contacting its provider or participating in any online forums they run to discuss the matter with them.

  • Can't get a secure connection to the iTunes store

Hey, been trying to connect to iTunes store for 4 months now. It used to work on my computer but now it says there's a problem getting a secure connection to the iTunes store. Its not the firewall or the network. Have tried: removing AVG, flushing dns, emailing apple, updating iTunes, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, changing to a new wireless network, but nothing worked. Have looked at all the pages of possible errors for windows but can't find anything that works.
Any ideas? My computer used to have Norton 360 on it but it was deleted. Could there possibly be some files remaining that are preventing a connection to the iTunes store?

  • Can anyone help me with Safari and the iTunes Store??

I cannot access the iTunes Store. It says, "iTunes requires Safari 4.0.3 or later to be installed to use the iTunes Store within iTunes. Use Software Update to download and install the latest version of Safari.". When I go to download the latest version it won't let me. Does anyone know what I can do? I haven't been able to access iTunes Store through my iTunes account for a while now.

Can you take your Macbook to an authorized service provider for the updates or maybe see if they can put them on a CD to mail to you?
They are in Jakarta, Denpasar, Surabaya and Bandung. • In my Itunes account, I can not see my list of songs in my files, nor can I look for individual songs in the Itunes store. Basically, anywhere there are list, I can not see them. What can I do to fix this problem?

I am having trouble with my Itunes account on Windows XP . I can not see any list in my music files. The songs are there but I have to click on each song to see what it is. Also, in the itunes store, I can not see any pull down list or use my search bar. This happened when Itunes updated it's look. I can pull it up on my phone and see all of my purchased music. I would really appreciate knowing how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Nevermind - I answered my own question, which is I CAN"T READ ANY BOOKS I purchased in iBooks on my MacBook Pro.  If I want to read on my mac I have to use Kindle or Nook.  Which means any book I've already purchased through iBooks has to be read on my iPad.  Kind of a drag because there are times when it's more convenient for me to read while I'm sitting with my Mac.

  • Why can't I see my podcast in the iTunes store

When I click on the link provided by Apple I see my podcast in the iTunes store, but when I just try to drill down to it through the iTunes menus I can't find it. I've noticed that there seems to be a maximum of five pages of podcasts for each category. Does this mean that there are other podcasts out there that you just can't get to without doing a search or something?

Run Software update from the Apple menu or update yrou signature (it shows 10.8.2).
    What country store?

  • Why can't I get a refund in the iTunes Store?

I downloaded a song on iTunes yesterday by accident and only realised today, I went to the iTunes Store to get a refund on that purchase but it kept saying that it wasn't eligible for a refund. Is there anyway I can get my money back?

We are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know why.
If the 'report a problem' page won't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page, but you might get a similar reply from them and not an explanation : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • Can't hear sample of songs in the itunes store

Hi, my problem is that I can't hear or play sample of songs in the itunes stores. Please help me!

If you have an old version of iTunes, you can go to edit, preferences, and click load complete preview before playing.
If you have a current version, nothing works. They removed this option. I've contacted iTunes support many times over this issue. Maybe if enough of us complain, the issue will be addressed.

  • HT201272 Can't find a previous purchase on the iTunes Store to download?

I bought a movie off the iTunes Store about 2 years ago and my computer had to be wiped and reset again. I obviously have the same Apple ID and everything and I wanted to have the movie on my phone, and i was quite willing to pay for it again, when it told me that I can just download it as I have already purchased this item.
So I thought, okay, I'll go into my purchased items and download it free from there instead! But when I looked in my purchased items it wasn't there and I am wondering where it is?
    Thanks,
    Megan

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Not all movie studios have signed up to the re-download deal with Apple, it's possible that your movie is from one of these studios. It's also possible that the movie is no longer for sale in the iTunes Store.

  • TS1717 I can only preview songs 10 seconds in the itunes store

Here we go again. Another annoying iTunes problem that pops up unexpectedly and probably can't be fixed until the next upgrade...
Song previews in the iTunes store stop after 5-10 seconds.  I know this is a discussed problem but I can't find that thread. Note: The same songs, when purchased and downloaded plays OK from the library. The problem is with all previews. Instead of 1 minute or 90 seconds, I get only 5-10 seconds.
None of the suggested solutions work:
    1) using the command prompt to flush the dsn cache,
    2) just try to play the preview several times,
    3) start and run itunes in safe mode.
The problem began a few weeks ago and it persists in one account on one computer. (Win 7 Pro).  It works properly in the same account on my other computer (Win XP Pro).  I'm running the latest Version of iTunes - I checked for updates. (10.X.X).
Please don't suggest I uninstall and reinstall everything. Anybody can suggest that (and Apple usually does). That is not really a solution, but it's what I have had to do every time I have run into a problem with iTunes.
    Thanks, hope you can help

Are those songs in the iTunes library on the computer the device is normally synced with?  If so, sync them to the device.
