An app can need twice the quoted space just during the installation. That could be the problem. It's easy enough to offload some stuff for the insyallation then sync it back.

To download an install an app requires free space that is between two and three times the download file size. You ned to free up more storage space.

I bought the last version of IPad that came out recently ( I bought it 3 weeks ago). It is a 16GB.
So far I love this product, but I 'm getting stuck with movie downloads from iTunes.
Indeed I just ordered 3 movies in HD and they don't download as the message "error lack of space" come up.
So I made some space on my IPad, erased most of my music (only 156 MB left), I had pages, I erased it but really I 'm loosing $11..., I erased all the movies I had before, and much more. Now what I don't understand is that I have only 3GB available when my following applications don't even take the 10.3GB of used space:
Music: 156 MB
Skype: 34,2 MB
Sleep well: 16.6 MB
Calculator: 11,8 MB
Voice memos: 9,8MB
Iswifter: 6,2 MB
And Video says no Data
There is no extra application, so it is really strange it is doing this. I tried to reset and restart many times with no success. I also tried to look at the previews of the videos I bought and tried to redownload them but the same message come up.
Now apart of the strange lack of space on my IPad, I understand that the videos I wanted to download were in HD and therefore too big.
What I would like to do is to shift to download to SD but I can't do it and also can't erase the downloads...
I wonder if the downloads are actually not already taking space even tho they haven't even been able to charge some information (they are not even downloaded half way or anything like that).
Unfortunately I don't have a computer to download my IPad to, so I could try to manipulate the videos purchased from there. I'm traveling and now I can't watch movies anymore which is very annoying...
Also I checked my multi tasking is off....
Could you please help me as soon as possible on this?

According to the trms of the iTunes and app stores - all sales are final. but that doe not mean that you can't try anyway. People ask for refunds all the time. Use the Express Lane email to contact iTunes.

You can still download the other movies in iTunes on your computer. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for Available Downloads. You can download them in iTunes and then sync them to the iPad later. When you are done watching the first movie, you can transfer it into iTunes on your computer, delete it from the iPad and you will have the room for another movie on the device. To transfer the movie when you are done with it, you can use the transfer purchases feature.

If the photos that you lost were photos that you took with the iPad, they should be in your iPad backup - if you sync with iTunes or if you backup with iCloud.

Why is the downloaded app 3-4 times larger than the size listed in the App Store? The settings show Angry Birds go at 316 mb and the app desc size is 93 mb; the FB is about 3 times larger also.

Found this trying to manage the storage on the ipad. Just wondering if the file size listed on the App Store is a zipped file. If so, isn't that misleading?

how much RAM or memory do you have,
go to >about this mac to find out. Lion needs a minimum of 2gb.
Also, the hard drive in which you are installing lion needs to have the free space.

When starting PSE 11 I receive "Adobe Photoshop 11 has stopped working and the app fails to start. I'm on Window 8.1 An event log error is thrown.

Can't reinstall Creative Cloud. Keeps saying I need newer version but when ZI down;load that is the newest version. Any help?

Creative Cloud disappeared and now wants to download new version which doesn't exist. I tried 9 times. Anyone know how to install a new version. Thanks to Dave Sawyer for posting information about re-downloading an app which has been deleted. I deleted the app from iTunes. Then, when I synched, iTunes asked me if I wanted the items on my ipod touch copied back into iTunes. I said yes and then synched.
Readdledocs is now working again. It is no longer frozen. However, I have learned my lesson. I will download only pdf's from now on. I don't think it works so well with epub files. The text reflow feature of Readdledocs is exactly what I need to use for my work documents on my ipod touch.
