I am using a Mac and have installed Adobe Reader for Mac, latest version. I cannot access the End User Licensing Agreement. I clicked on it and it gives me a message that I must launch Adobe, check that I agree, close and reopen. The problem is I can't find any way to launch Adobe because it appears nowhere on my launch pad, nor in my document files or on the control panel. I Had this problem along with the error message that it's missing the driver GNSDK_DSP.DLL. I am Windows XP and fixed the error by going to Start>My Computer>Add or Remove Programs
When the Add or Remove programs list is "populated", Find iTunes on it. Click the link that says "For more information" and the iTunes box will expand. You will see a button that says "Repair" and it says to reinstall the program if it is not working correctly, use the "Repair" button. I clicked the Repair button and it automatically started the reinstall. When all the progress bars disappear (it doesn't really give you any other indication that its done) click the "close" button and try to open iTunes again. It worked first time for me. I also saw another forum where someone said it worked for the other Windows versions by following the same route, just that in other windows versions it might be "Computer" instead of "My Computer" and the Add or Remove Programs function is also called something else. Hope this helps somebody having this problem. It drove me crazy finding the answer, but the fix was super simple once I found out what to do.

Let's try this first. Hold down the Shift key while you try to launch iTunes. You should eventually see the following dialog:
Click "Choose library". Browse to inside the following location (depending on what operating system you're running):
Operating System
Default location of iTunes library
Microsoft Windows XP
\Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows Vista
\Users\[your username]\Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows 7
\Users\[your username]\My Music\iTunes\
... and open the iTunes library you find in there.

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

I have not contacted Adobe. I am using acrobat pro CC, and haven't noticed any problem with the software itself. The only problem I have had so far is when I try to download.

First we need to check , whether the LAN settings is set to detect settings Automatically or not.
Follow below steps .
1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .
2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.
3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.
4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .
5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.
Then launch Premiere Elements 12 and try to sign in.
If the settings were already set like that or you face same issue after signing in , let me know

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. Can't open itunes due to data execution prevention error

I am currently unable to open itunes due to a data execution prevention error. I have tried to clear temp files, uninstall and reinstall and nothing seems to work. I tried to disable DEP for itunes but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me?

Try the following, one at a time:
1. First Repair QuickTime. START/CONTROL PANEL/ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS/highlight QUICKTIME, click REMOVE, then select REPAIR.
Now test your itunes and see if you still have this problem
2. If you have Codec installed, please uninstall it and test out your iTunes.
3. If all that fail, scan your system for possible Windows system file corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator" (for Win XP-just click command prompt)
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer if it did actually repair any files.
Open iTunes and see if problem resolved.

If you are currently running Mac OS X 10.6 through 10.6.7, you should be able to update to 10.6.8 through Software Update.
If you are currently running Mac OS X 10.5.x or earlier, you need to buy the upgrade to 10.6 and update it to 10.6.8. Apple still sells 10.6, but only if you call them on the phone, and you can only buy it on a disc. Also, you need to make sure your Mac is new enough to run 10.6.

Hi! I have a new MacBook Pro, but I haven't been able to put iTunes on it even though I have used it for years on my iPhone, iPad, and two Windows desktops and two Windows laptops. I keep getting the message that "I am exceeding my iTunes account limit of 5 computers (not counting my iPhone and iPad, which are explicitly excluded from the count according to the message)". As anyone can see, I only have 4 computers, so I should not have any problems with installing iTunes, but this same message says that I need to deauthorize at least one computer or maybe I have extra authorizations on a computer.
I can't even find a list or map of the computers on my iTunes account! Please, somebody help ASAP!!!!! Thanks!!!!!

Can't get iTunes 10.6.3 to download and can't run 10.7 because I don't have os x 10.6.6, how can I download iTunes 10.6.3?

I updated my system to run iTunes 10.5.2 and Mac OS X 10.5.8. That was the highest versions it would go.my phone won't connect to this version of iTunes. I tried downloading iTunes 10.7 but it won't run on my version of OS X. I tried updating OS X and that won't run either. When I open iTunes it says there is an available update for version 10.6.3 but when I click on download iTunes, system updates comes up and tells me my system is up to date. How do I get out of the conundrum?
