I can't set the visible property of a CWAnnotation Object

I'm working in a W2000 with Visual Basic 6.0.
When I try to set this property (Visible in CWAnnotation), Visual Basic generates a run time error. Is there any kind of patch?

This is a known issue with Measurement Studio 6.0. There is not currently a patch for this problem. The workaround is to move the annotation outside the plot area when you do not want to display it.

  • Hi how to set the visible property in oracle adf?

    Hi,
    I am new to oracle adf in my application one of the field is id and it is sequence generated value Whenever I entered remaining values and click on save then only it has to display with sequence generated value before saving it has to be in hide mode. Can any one help me how the approach is.

    As there are three ways through which you may pass a message to B2B, so there are three ways to set Action name property.
    If you are using SCA/Fabric then set below properties -
    b2b.fileName
    b2b.contentType
    If you are using JCA JMS adapter, then set below property -
    jca.jms.JMSProperty.ACTION_NAME
    If you are using JCA AQ adapter then set -
    ACTION_NAME

  • Why error when looping a sheets collection and setting the visible property?

    I get an error on line 5 when running the following code:
    1Sub ShowSheets(vSheets() As Variant)
    2
    3 Dim i As Long
    4 For i = LBound(vSheets, 1) To UBound(vSheets, 1)
    5 ThisWorkbook.Sheets(vSheets(i, 1)).Visible = xlSheetVisible
    6 Next i
    7
    8End Sub
    The error code I get is:
    Run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108)':
    Method 'Visible' of object '_Worksheet' failed
    I only get the error when at least one of the sheets is a chart. But the error does not occur when the chart object is looping. Instead it occurs when the first worksheet object after the chart object is looping.
    What is the cause of this error?

    Hi JP3O,
    >> only get the error when at least one of the sheets is a chart. But the error does not occur when the chart object is looping<<
    I am trying to reproduce this issue however failed. From the error message, it seems that the visible couldn't set when you call the sub.
    How the code was executed? Would you mind sharing more detail about this secnario?

  • How can I set the timing property node to sample clock property

    I am developing a code for acquiring acceleration data from cDAQ 9184 using DAQmx VIs. I need to include a timing property node with a (sample clock rate) reading property. How can I do that?
    Solved!

    I really appreciate your effort. NowI have this property Node '' DAQmx Timing'' on the block diagram but the problem is that when click on the property NO menu shows up there. I dont know were the problem is. Is there any software drive I need to install other than DAQ mx to solve this problem? The same problem happent any time I want to use a property node. Let me send you my code file so that you can see where the problem is. And I really thank you in advance for your support.

  • How to set the actionname property in B2B 11g

    I have an outbound file sent via AS2 over http. I gather from other b2b forums/documents that for preserving the file name I have to set the actionname property. I have a BPEL process which is setting the fromTP, toTP, document TYPE etc, and then invoking the B2B and sending the document. Can I set the actionname property in the BPEL?
    When I am trying to assign a value like "contentType:application/octet-stream;filename:abc.xml", I don't see any actionname property in the "To" side.

  • Looking for a way to programmatically set the visible portion of the front panel when a subVI opens

    I am looking for a way to programmatically set the visible portion of the front panel when a subVI opens.  Haven't found any posts that relate, but I'm not sure how to ask the right question.  To be clear, I want to write a helper VI to go through a list of subVIs to make sure the background images are all in the same place when their respective subVIs open.  I hate manually playing with scroll bars before I save each of the VIs...  I'm figuring I need to find the top/left location of the background image (know how to do this already) and then set a VI FP property to  these values or some offset, but I can't find the relevant property. FP:run-timeposition:custom looked promissing, but only affects the location of the window, not the area of the front panel the window is displaying.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Cool.  Getting closer.  The way I implemented your suggestion affects the subVI only if it is open.  I can use this to do what I'm after, perhaps putting the code into each subVI.  Maybe open all subs, run the helper, and save.    Seems like I'm missing the elegant version...

  • Tracking the visible property of a movie clip

    Hello,
    I am trying to track the visible property of a movie clip as
    I need to perform a function when visible = true and another when
    visible =false
    I have tried to use a listener object but I can’t get
    it to work. Can you attach a listener object to listen for the
    visible property?
    I have also tried an IF statement inside the move clip but
    this only knows the state of the ._visible when it first runs.
    I have got it to work with an onEnterFrame function on a
    movie clip inside the one I want to know the property of but I
    don’t like using the onEnterFrame as it uses a lot or
    processor speed
    Is there an easy way to track the visible property of a
    movieclip???
    Thanks
    Sam.

    > thanks for the help but the watch() method doesn't work
    for getter/setter
    > properties. is ._visible a getter/setter property?
    I was afraid of that. Yes, _visible is a getter/setter, most
    properties are. Basically watch() only works on read-only
    properties and custom variables, which is a shame.
    So I don't know of any more elegant way than constantly
    checking to see if the value changed. Centralize it and maybe
    package it in a nice class and you might feel a little better about
    it...

  • Setting the visibility of check box based on values of dropdown field

    Dear Experts,
    I have to set the checkbox visible/hidden based on the values of dropdown field.
    Request you to please provide code example.
    Regards,
    Upendra

    Hi,
    For capturing the selected value from the dropdown (ComboBox in SAPUI5) field use the change event of the combobox UI element. Within this you can get the selected value using the getLiveValue() method of the combobox.
    Then depending on the value you can set the visible boolean property of your checkbox.
    Refer to the link ComboBox for more details.

  • How can i set the alternating colors for a table rows

    Dear All,
    Please any one help me how can i set the Alternating colors for Table Rows.
    i created a theam there i set the background alternating color to brown and i set the table design properity to alternating. but it is not reflecting.

    Hi,
    The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
    Please see the API below:
    design
    Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
    alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
    standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
    transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
    Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.
    Regards,
    Jaya.

  • How to set the 'text' property of a 'Header' region dynamically?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to display the 'text' property of a 'Header' region, based on a query.
    So I need to set the text property programatically in CO.
    Can I use setText("..") by getting the handler to the 'Header' region?
    If so, How to get the handler for the 'Header' region?

    How to get the handler for the 'Header' region to call the setText()?
    OAHeaderBean Header1 = (OAHeaderBean)...........................
    Header1.setText("....");

  • How to set the cardinality property as 1..n for a dynamically created node

    Hi...everybody
        I am creating Dropdown by index UI element and the
    context atrributes dynamically.To bind multiple data to a dropdown
    the cardinality property of the node should be 0..n or 1..n,
    But i could not set the property of the dynamically created context node to 0..n ...
    can any body suggest me..
    I implemented the following code in WDDoModify View
    IWDTransparentContainer tc=(IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement("RootUIElementContainer");
    IWDNodeInfo node = wdContext.getNodeInfo().addChild("DynamicNode",null,true,true,false,false,false,true,null,
              null,null);
    IWDAttributeInfo strinfo=node.addAttribute("Value","ddic:com.sap.dictionary.string");
    dbyindex.bindTexts(strinfo);
    tc.addChild(dbyindex);
    I could successfully display one value in the drop down,by adding the following code before the line tc.addchild(dbyindex);
    IWDNode node1=wdContext.getChildNode("DynamicNode",0);
    IWDNodeElement nodeElement=node1.createElement();
    nodeElement.setAttributeValue("Value","Hello");
    node1.addElement(nodeElement);
    but when
    i am trying to bind multiple values i am getting Exception ,,,,

    hi
    you are getting the exception because of cardinality property.
    i.e   true,false and
    you are trying to add morethan one element.
    so,if you want to add morethan one than one element you have to set the cardinality property to true,true (or) false,true.
    In your code do the following modification for changing the cardinality.
    For 0..n -->false,true
          1..n-->true,true
    IWDTransparentContainer tc=(IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement("RootUIElementContainer");
    IWDNodeInfo node = wdContext.getNodeInfo().addChild("DynamicNode",null,true,true,false,false,false,true,null,
    null,null);
    IWDAttributeInfo strinfo=node.addAttribute("Value","ddic:com.sap.dictionary.string");
    dbyindex.bindTexts(strinfo);
    tc.addChild(dbyindex);
    hope this will solve your problem.
    In addchild(..) the parameters are
    addChild("Name ,
                    Element class for model node ,
                    Is singleton? ,
                    Cardinality ,
                    Selection cardinality ,
                    Initialise lead selection? ,
                    Datatype ,
                    Supplier function ,
                     Disposer function);

    Hi,
    Can I set the default locale for jvm?
    How to do it?
    Pan

    My windows default locale is chinese .I have thought of your opinion. But in
    windows nt , if I change the locale , all the environment will be
    destroyed(just like reinstall it , it's difficult for me) . So , Is there
    any other approach?

    Hi,
    The problem exists in my project still exist.That is it.
    When I did not set weblogic.jsp.encoding to GB2312 in my web
    application(web.xml), and when the jsp file contain's chinese , the
    output
    will be error(error chinese) .And when I did not set it , the output
    is
    correct, but when I use request.getParameter("SomeFormElement")(theelement
    inputed chinese), the return value is error(still chinese error).And
    when
    I
    am in windows nt english version and do not set this property, all
    these
    two
    problems dispear. And I try to compare the java files those were
    generated
    by weblogic from the jsp file , there is only two additional clause
    in
    the
    java file. That's it:
    ((weblogic.servlet.jsp.JspWriterImpl)out).setEncoding("GB2312");
    response.setHeader("Content-Type", "text/html; charset=GB2312");
    (the web.xml has <context-param>
    <param-name>weblogic.jsp.encoding</param-name>
    <param-value>GB2312</param-value>
    </context-param> to be set
    So, I think maybe it works well if I change the default locale toenglish.
    And unfortunately, your method is also failed.(I have to use weblogic
    in
    chinese environment)
    Would you please help me to solve this problem?
