I can view a completed PDF file, but I can not open it

I can view a completed PDF file in "view pane" however when I open the saved file, it is blank.

Try if updating to the latest version 10.1.3 still does the same.

IMovie has frozen up on me. I've tried rebooting and reinstalling the apps- no help. I can play some of the files- but I can't get into the libraries.Even when I can get something to play the whole system crashes after a few minutes. What can I do?

I desperately need your help. I was working on iMovie last night when the thing froze up on me. I've tried rebooting. I've tried reinstalling the apps. No change. I can play some of the files- although I can't tell which ones will play until they magically appear. I can't get into the project library or the event library. The bar that lets me scroll through the clips is gone. Even when I can get something to play the whole system crashes after a couple of minutes and generates a "problem report" that says "iMovie Quit Unexpectedly". This all started when I was adding cutaways- and one clip just would not load. After I tried several times everything froze up. Have you ever heard of something like this? Maybe I pushed a button or somehow changed a setting? Maybe some of the video is corrupt? What do you recommend?

You can't. iTunes itself runs on Windows PCs or Macs. Any apps available from the iTunes Store will only run on iPhones or iPads.

I have successfully stream a pdf file to the browser. But it ask the user to save the pdf. This is not what i intended to do. I would like the browser to automatically load the pdf file.
How could i do that?

Hi gag5212, the "Print pages to PDF" extension does not use the normal print dialog. Instead, right-click the page and look for its menu there, or you can add its button to one of your toolbars.

PDF files on FTP will not open correctly

Our PDF files open fine from local hard disks, and http locations. However, We are having trouble opening PDF files from a FTP server. After double-clicking on the file, the Adobe 'grey' background loads, and nothing else. At first time it opened fine in all computers, but afterwards it will not open. If we download the files from the server, the same file opens fine. We have tried in different OS like XP, Windows 7, windows 8 with different browsers. same problems occurred.
In all cases, the installed adobe reader was Adobe Reader 9 and above(9, 10&11). After we got one solution that to disable "Protected mode" in reader settings. If we disable protected mode, it is fine.
But the issue is, we have to provide those PDf files to our customers through our website. So we cannot disable it in customer's pc. Any alternate solution for this problem?
Why this problem occurs? How we can overcome from this error?

I cannot reproduce this problem with Reader 11.0.2 in Firefox 20.0.1 or IE8 on Windows XP (Protected Mode enabled).

Pdf files are downloading and not opening

Firefox on Android was; when viewing a web page with a link for a PDF would simply prompt you to open with, I select Acrobat and it opens.
Now, the PDF ALWAYS downloads - not acceptable.
This was working as expected just 2 weeks or so ago; what's changed?
PS - I did try the PDF add-on which sort of works, but performance is so bad it is unusable.

I was using FF with a local web site canned on the SD card of my tablet, and it has a lot of PDF collateral for quick viewing when there is no Wi-Fi.
Firefox was the only Android Browser that worked with a local web site fully contained on the SD card or Local storage. Bummer.

I am trying to open my Nightmare 2.jar file but java will not open. It says check console for error messages but there appears to be none. I have the latest version of java and I have both the 64 bit and 34 bit se6 set to the top of the list.

The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

Error opening pdf file, but then it still opens

I am having trouble when I open a pdf.I am using the code below to open a pdf.

When this is on a button, adobe reader will open, but gives an error saying "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found."
When I hit the ok button on the error notice, the pdf opens.
Any ideas why I am getting this message even though the pdf opens after dismissing the message would be appreciated.

I went to a site and downloaded a .pdf. The next day I updated firefox and when I went to the same site later in the day, I clicked on the .pdf and it did not download or open. I am using firefox 12.0 and mac 10.6.8

Viewing a downloaded PDF file

Every time I get a PDF file sent to me, I only see the first page and I can't even print it out. I guess I should be setting up something as my default to view PDF files but I'm not sure how. Help!!!!! The pdf file in question was 12 pages.

Welcome to the discussions. I will presume that the pdf document opened in Preview. At the top of the Preview window, just beneath the file name is a tool bar. Click on the button that reads "Drawer" and you should see thumbnail representations of the complete document show up on the right side of the main window. You can move up and down through the document simply be using the up and down arrows on your keyboard.
Alternately, you should be able to use the Previous/Next buttons or the Back/Forward buttons in the toolbar to move between pages of your document.
Another alternative would be to download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader available at http://www.adobe.com
