I can watch music videos but can't hear them?

I can watch music videos on ITunes on my PC (Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit) but after a few bars of sound, I can't hear any more? I've had this happen some time ago, and someone helped me out. I've forgotten how .......please help?

We took 3 video cassette 8mm that were recorded in the early 90's to a place that burned the videos onto 3 DVDs. When inserted to our Mac, the DVD player comes on to play the DVD. Opened Quicktime, but can find no way to import. Went to File>Open File>Sony_DVD_Recorder_Volume. Clicked on Sony_DVD-Recorder_Volume and it shows a file named VIDEO_TS. Clicked on that and 6 files showed VIDEO_TS.BUP, VTS_01-0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS-01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB. Where is DVDxDV?

well, it seems that itunes which stuck. not frozen. stuck.
i purchased 4 tv shows, stepped away from my computer, came back 10 minutes later and find that itunes is stuck on downloading "3 out of 4" of those purchased shows. (that status bar is really just stuck halfway, telling me i'm about 50% done with my download, and is just STARTING to download my 3rd video.) i see that the first two purchased videos are fine and view-able, but i can't get my final two. i've restarted the comp, i've "checked for purchases" under "advanced". and everytime i just attempt at it, itunes SAYS it's downloading the video, but there's no progression. just... stuck.
someone, please help!

oh yeah, just in case if this should be considered in a reply, the money is fine on my account, and there's more than enough space on my computer, so i don't see why it's not progressing....

Which exact videos? You might need to contact iTMS.

Maybe tell it to download to a different folder, just for a test....make a c:video folder. Go into iTunes > Edit > Preferences > Advanced > General > itunes music folder location
Hit the change button and point it to the new C:/video folder.
You can easily reset it back to whatever location after you are finished with this test.

• Codec is the way Your original material is built e.g. type of .mpeg2 on a DVD disk or streamingDV .dv from miniDV tape Cameras etc.
.mp4 or .avi or .mov is no codecs it's container that can hold a veraity of codecs
• Encoding - is a totally different animal - it's the other way around - How iDVD will create the .mpeg2 code that are to be on Your DVD disk and this process can be made with different bit-stream and by analyzing twice optimice this code for rapid movements in the movie so that it doesn't break up in pixles when care-chase or rapid panaorama movements.
I use
• streamingDV from my miniDV tape Camera
• .jpg photos - no .bmp
• .aiff 16-bit 48kHz or 44.1kHz (Audio-CD) - no .mp3 or other
and encodes only as Pro Quality - but that's me - have time - don't like to re-try
To find out what Codecs You use - open Your original movie file in QuickTime-Player and open Inspector and read Codec: - - - - - -

You can sync the music videos, but they won't play on your 6G Nano, because it does not support video playback. Sorry.

Can watch youtube videos w/o a problem, but all I get is a white screen everywhere else

Videos from youtube are the only videos that I can view from my computer. When I try to view videos from anywhere else (Facebook or anyother website) all I can see is a white screen. I can usually still hear the audio and sometimes the picture will flash in and out when I move the mouse back and forth across the video. Anyone have any ideas what my problem might be? I have Internet Explorer 9, windows 7 64 bit system. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same thing going on with my computer. When I click the vide to play it the screen whites out and I can see shadows of whats on the screen and can hear audio but the screen whites out. I can watch the video on Youtube's site just no where else.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe flash player, I've run CCleaner, antivirus, checked drivers, gone back to a restore point...
So far nothing's worked.

And what is the point of all this? CS3 is now 7 years old and Office 2003 just the same. Yes, sometimes software has bugs and compatibility issues. Beyond there is nothing here to discuss on either end, given the circumstances...

Why can I no longer watch music videos in full screen mode via a playlist in the music app since upgrading to ios7?

Since upgrading to ios7 my iPhone 4S no longer allows me to watch music videos in full screen mode when I select the clips via a playlist from the music app.
It's now more necessary than before to use the music app rather than the video app to select music videos to play. That's because the video app doesn't list music videos by artist any more. And also because the fast forward and rewind buttons on headphones remote no longer work on videos.
How do I watch full screen videos when rotating my iphone now shows my music library rather than showing the video itself?

I do not think it is a problem to play videos in the full screen mode using the video app. It should work just fine, it does work ok for me on iphone 5. The original question was to play music videos in the music app. Music videos and videos are two different things - I am not sure why but they are.
The problem here is that the music app supports lists and the video app does not. I just looked at the ios7 video app and while my few test videos are shown in it, the lists they were in (in iTunes) are nowhere to be found. There is no lists in the video app - period - which is as it was before.
The video app plays videos and music videos in the full screen mode no problem but if you have a few hundreds or more of such videos you will have hard time finding the one you want to play. There is simply no way to categorize or group videos. The old good folders/directories are, I guess, too simple for Apple. It is just too bad that for years on end the world's leader in S/W development did not offer anything to categorize videos.
You have lists, albums, etc., for music, you have albums for pictures but you have absolutely nothing for videos. And this is and has been the Apple's state-of-the art solution for this problem - simply insist that the problem does not exist. Actually it is getting worse. Not only there is nothing to categorize or group videos but now the only way it could be done (by marking videos as music videos and using the music app) results in a mini playback area.
Soon this OS will be able to cook dinner for your but grouping videos... no way.

There are numerous untrustworthy 'update' sites like Cnet & Softonic, & many users won't know that one is to be trusted (so far) but not most of the others.
Adobe make Flash Player : get it from Adobe.

Suspect it's playing in Dolby Digital 5.1 - go to settings for audio/video and turn Dolby Digital to off.

You can't re-download it after it has expired (if that's the case).
You could try to contact support, and you MAY get an exception...

You have a "good WiFi connection". What does that mean exactly? Can you send and receive email and are other internet related activities working OK for you? Have you tried restarting or rebooting your iPad? Sometimes that helps. If nothing else, it's a good place to start.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
