I did the following but it did not help,
Rename the opm.db file.
1.Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
2.Navigate to the OOBE folder.

Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
3.Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
4.Launch Creative Cloud

I have the same problem. Have paid. Messages say I have downloaded it but the file is inaccessible apparently download is somewhere on my hard disk. How do I find it?? Is there not help at an Adobe phone service. If so what is the number to call??

First make sure you are using the most up to date version of iTunes and have all the latest Windows updates/patches installed on your PC. From there, try again and if still no luck, make sure you are plugging your iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port.
Otherwise try these steps:
1. Run “c:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc” (i.e. *Device Manager*), and leave it open for now for later use
2. Start up iTunes
3. Next, connect your iPod.
4. Go to your iPod Settings and select the “Enable disk use” option from under theSummary tab.
5. A dialog box will pop up reminding you that you’ll need to manually eject. Go ahead and hit OK
6. Hit Apply to save changes to the iPod
7. Quickly switch to the Device Manager window and right-click on any item within the window and select “Scan for hardware changes”
8. Finally, switch back to iTunes, and try re-syncing your iPod to see if it helped.
It might not also hurt to trash your iPod's Photo cache if it has one (i.e. you sync photos to the iPod). See this article for information on where to find this folder on your Windows XP machine.

Iphone stuck on 'plug into itunes' symbol - even after hard reboot

Deciding to update my iphone 3G with the most current version release, my computer 'blue screened' while putting the updates on the iphone. Now my computer does not recognise any operating system (not good!) and my iphone (even after hard reboot) does not get past the 'plug into itunes' symbol.
How do I fix my iphone? - I don't want to reset it to factory settings as my computer with everythihng on it (songs, movies, apps, contact, etc) no longer works!
Any ideas, other than going to the Genius Bar and hoping they can fix it?

Place the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore.

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Problem solved!
I had downloaded and then installed Flash, and restarted.
The problem? I was expecting Youtube to work as on my old PC, where you get a little pop-up menu at the bottom of the TV screen to play. pause etc. That won't happen on a Mac until you click on the oblong that says Flash in the middle - I didn't know that!

Cannot mount storage disk after running "reboot -- -r"

I have a server installed Solaris Sparc u4 and integrated with a storage. When executing "reboot -- -r" or "init 6", the storage disk cannot be mounted after system startup again. The output of console said "

I really added item into /etc/vfstab which is "/dev/md/emads/dsk/d50 /dev/md/emads/rdsk/d50 /home ufs 2 yes global,logging ".
But, if I use "reboot" instead, the storage disk can be mounted normally.
I'm so confused. Could you please tell me the cause and solution? Well, I don't wanna use "mountall" every time after the system is rebooted.

i just bought macbook air ysterday. but unfortunately i can't watch youtube videos as it appeared to require adobe flash player. so i did download da mac os x version & installed da program.
da error message remained same & videos couldnt be play on youtube.

Cannot locate file, even after it's copied to itunes

I download a mp3 from a radio show I like everyday. I use to be able to download the file to my desktop, and then drag it to the right playlist in itunes. After it's in itunes, I would delete the one on the desktop and I would have it in my library and be done with it.
Well now for some reason after I copy it to itunes, as soon as I delete the 1st one from the desktop, it says it can't locate it and offers for me to locate it. I don't want to leave it on the desktop. Why the sudden change?
Any ideas?

By default iTunes stores it's files in <your profile>\<profile's music>iTunes\iTunes Music\etc... When you add music to iTunes from outside this folder structure there is an option to either make a copy inside the folder or simply create a link to the file at it's current location. It would seem that this option has changed on your system so that iTunes no longer makes it's copy, thus when you delete the seeemingly redundant file from the desktop, iTunes then cannot find the file. Goto *Edit... Preferences > Advanced* and enable the option *Copy files to iTunes Music/Media folder when adding to the library*. If you're running iTunes 9 you could create a shortcut on your desktop to the new *Automaticaly add to iTunes* folder. You could then save your download into that folder and iTunes will automatically import it without the need for copies to be made or deleted.

I updated my facebok app after the app store said that it needed to be updated and ow the app wont load when I try to open it. I have tried to install and reinstall the app and I have also rebooted the phone several times with no results

try settings>general>reset>reset network settings, i mean this sounds like its a facebook issue its self and that you would have to wait for another update, they were probably getting prepped for ios 6 and somehow this one got out for an update, they are usually pretty good about getting updates out.

Nokia Lumia 928 unresponsive even after several reboots

I had just watched a video online, and suddenly at the end of the video, the phone's screen started displaying weird pixels and lines throughout and the phone is now completely unresponsive, except for the power and volume buttons. I've tried the hard reboot several times, but the phone just reboots with the abnormal-looking screen. It will not allow me to get past the lock screen. It will do nothing except allow me to power it of and turn the volume up and down.
I've had this phone for less than a month... bought it after reading the glowing reviews about it. I loved the phone up until this point. I should have just kept my "dumbphone" because this crap is really ******* me off. I don't want this piece of junk anymore, but of course it's too late to return it and exchange it for another brand.

Yes it can be very annoying to buy something new and have it fail so soon. I recently bought a new Dyson cordless vacuume and it itermittantly failed shutting on-and-off. Dyson replaced it and the problem is now gone and has not returned So, with complex electronics I think you sometimes can end up with a lemon now and then.
FWIW, my wife and I ditched our feature phones and purchased two 928's and both of them have been flawless for the two months we have used them. I really like the Nokia hardware and am keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to perform well through the duration of our contract. If not, we have a warranty to fall back on.

Cannot hear effects untill after I've recorded them

I'm using GarageBand3 and a guitar plugged into an M-Audio interface, then the output is into an amp.
However, when I play the guitar as a real instrument in GarageBand, if I have any effects on I can't hear them through the amp (I can hear just the normal guitar) but if I record something and play it back it DOES have the effect on it (I play it back through the amp and this works fine).
I've also tried it using headphones plugged into both the audio interface and my macbook itself.
Does anyone know how I can make it so that I can hear the effects as I play them?

You have to turn monitoring on in the track info window. It allows you to monitor wet signal (the sound being recorded with FX). You are now monitoring the dry signal (the sound before being sent to garageband).
If your using the Fast Track after turning monitoring you can then adjust the signal wet or dry with the input playback volume control.
