I cannot install Adobe Premiere Elements 11

Hi, please help. I cannot install Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on my laptop, I run IE10, I disabled my Anti-Virus software and inserted the Elements DVD. I click on 'Install Adobe Premiere Elements 11', I then select 'English (United States)' from the list of languages. It then starts the 'Preparing to install' process and states that it is 'Configuring Windows Installer'. However, I then get a 'Windows Installer' text box appear, with what appears to be lots of HTML text inside. I click on 'OK' at the bottom of the box and then it just returns to the first screen again. This is very frustrating and I cannot work out what is going wrong with the installation. I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 from the same DVD with no problem

The next screen shows that it is 'Preparing to install' and I see the following box -
and then finally it brings up a 'Windows Installer' box, however, when I click on 'OK' it takes me back to the first screen again -
Any help or suggestions would be mucgh appreciated becaue at the moment I feel as though I have wasted my money

Is there something wrong with the discs?

The only disc error I recieved was 'adobe premiere elements 9 is not installed on the system or is corrupted. This is disc 2 from the software pack.
Disc 1 installed sucessfully. i can see it in my program files. Disc 2 has not installed it is not on my computer.
I cannot get a refund from my store because I have entered the serial # & already registered the product. They cannot resell it.
The store said if I get a reference # from you saying the disc 2 is faulty, I can recieve a refund.

The suggestion provided by Kglad is information on how to redeem your redemption code. Did you purchase from Adobe directly? If not then it is likely you received a redemption code as opposed to a serial number.

I have been trying to install Photoshop Elements for that last half hour and I cannot get past the language selection screen. When I put the DVD in, it runs automatically. When I select the button to download Photoshop Elements 10, I am then taken to a screen to select my language. After selecting "English", nothing happens. Any suggestions?

After selecting your language you will need to click on the Accept button to accept the End User License Agreement. Once the EULA is accepted you should be able to proceed with your installation. I would also recommend reviewing Install | Adobe Premiere Elements | Photoshop Elements | Windows | Mac OS.

I was trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 but the installation would stop abruptly somewhere half way through and the disk would pop out. I got the serial nuimber therough the web.
What could be the issue here?

Installing adobe premiere elements 4 and importing video

My Dell laptop will not install Adobe Premiere Elements 4. I keep getting an Error message.
I do have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 on my computer, but I am unable to import footage from a DVD.
I think because it is in the wrong format and I need to convert it.
To cope with this problem, I tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 4, but it will not install.
I tried to contact Adobe Tech Support, but Tech support from Adobe is closed.
Even when it opens, I don't know if they will help.

My GUESS is you have Win7 and version 4 is simply too old

Install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 using the setup.exe in the root folder

I am trying to make an SCCM install package for PremiereElements_10_LS15_win64. I am following the directions I found here http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-element s-1.html and I am using a Win7 SP1 machine with a new NT profile that does have admin rights. The error I receive is, "Install Adobe Premiere Elements 10 using the setup.exe in the root folder."
Also, when I try to use AAMEE 2.1 I am told that when I use the containing the setup.exe and the .msi that "A valid installer could not be found."

First of all, you will not be able to package PSE 10 using AAMEE. It needs to be packaged only using the xml method, that you tried and got the error.
So, here is want i want you to try.
> Take a Win 7 machine with a fresh OS installation.
> Follow the above article that you have properly i.e. create the application.xml.override.
> Test the xml package by running the command mentioned under step 2 using the command prompt.
Check if that works.

PSE and PRE have different serial numbers. If you bought both programs you should have two separate serial numbers.
