I have used FF since 2.0 I have always been able to personalize the weather to my location and could on FF 5.0 for a few days. Not now. It always goes back to VA>

How do I change the iTunes media folder Location and save it?

I have a seagate drive where I store my music and have it shared as "M". Each time iTunes starts up, it defaults back to C:\...... and if there is a device connnected, it transfers the purchases from that device to this directory.
I need to manually go in and change the location each time iTunes starts. Is there a way to save this location as the default? I am on Version 10.

If iTunes starts up and it can't get access to the location that you have declared as the media folder it will revert to the default subfolder of the library folder. Any downloads or rips will be put in that location until you correct the media folder location via Edit > Preferences > Advanced.
Either make absolutely certain the drive is active and available before starting iTunes or place the library folder on the other drive as well (see this post) so that iTunes either opens normally or warns that it cannot find the library. Note if this is a networked drive rather than locally connected USB/SATA there may be noticeable performance issues with the latter solution.

Have you looked in the Music App on your iPhone? On the iPhone music is played by the Music App not iTunes.

Unable to change the LOV of To locator in Subinventory transfer form

I am trying to change the LOV of To Locator field in the Subinventory form.
I have made the trigger event as "When-new-form-instance"
In actions tab:
Built in : Create a record group from query and gave a name to the record group
Property: LOV - ENABLE_LIST_LAMP - Group_name - <gave the name of the record group>
But it gives an error : Cannot create the record group.
The name of the column in the form for To Locator is : TRANSFER_LOCATOR and its defined at the item level.
Can anyone please help?

During the implementation of a recent project, we suffered from the same issue. There seems to be no way to recolor that part of a pivot table, but you can remove it by disabling the row header... which, in your case, should also remove the header "Class".
The way I see it, the users would already know what that Class column is supposed to be about. So you don't actually need to have that header displayed, if you ask me.
If someone has a proper solution to this question though, I'd be interested :)

If i right-click a website and click "Bookmark this page". It brings up the bookmark panel with the default folder "Bookmarks Menu" is there any way i can change this default ?

You would do better clicking on the bookmark star on the Location Bar.
You can install "Add Bookmark Here2" and probably make modifications in the options.

1. How do I change the wether icon from Cupertino and New York to local weather?
2. How do I remove icons from the home page that came already installed? I tried pressing and holding until they vibrate but no 'X" appears to delete them.

Select the i circle icon at the bottom right.
Select the + icon at the top right to add a city. Select the red - icon next to a city on the list to remove a city.
Select the icon at the far right of each city to move that city up of down on the list.
Select Done at the top right when finished.

The default icons cannot be removed. The default icons will not have an X to remove them. Only user created web clippings will have the X and can be removed.

I just had to click on the °C to get the Celsius displayed both in the app and the notification.
Maybe a reboot would help ?

Hi i just bought a used MacBook from a friend i have been having a problem when trying to use the software update. when i click on software update it says it can not connect to the update server and that i should use network diagnostics. when i click on it it says network seems to be fine but on the left side it shows a red light where server is and says failed i click on run diagnostics and it says "network diagnostics was able to connect to the internet but not to the server "(not showing the server for privacy reasons)" This could be caused by problems with the server, or an internet problem between this computer and the server."
The server name which i did not list was my friends old job server. i just want to know how to change the update servers target location so it will stop trying to connect to his jobs server so it will allow me to update my software from my home wifi thanks

Your friend has configured this computer in some way to prevent a user from accessing Apple's update servers. This was probably done for security purposes. You might check if the firewall has been activated - Open the Security preferences, click on the Firewall tab. If the firewall is turned on, then turn it off. This should fix the problem.
However, if your friend has made other modifications, then you will need to ask him/her what you will need to do to remove them.

Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
Can any of you Help?!?

Can you change the units used for size and position in layout editor?

Hello,
In Aperture 3.4, does anyone know if you can change the units used for size and position in layout editor? The page is set in inches, but the image size and position are given in centimetres and I would prefer to work all in inches to create custom layouts. I can't see any way to change this. If anyone knows how it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Aperture uses the unit settings defined in the System Preferences. Set the "Measurement Units" in the "Region" tab of the "Language & Text" preferences to "US"; the Aperture will display the Size & Position in inches, if it is the "Book" layout manager you are asking about.
