In that case, you will have to install iTunes on the computer, put the phone into recovery mode, and restore it as a new device. It will be wiped. Everything on it will be lost.
There is no way to bypass a forgotten lock code. If there were, it wouldn't be much good.

You can't. Try restore with the computer you usually sync with.

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this. -

My computer's hardrive went bad an I had to get a new one. Now my computer has nothing on it and I had to reinstall itunes and i have no music or anything. So now I cannot sync my ipod or anything. Is there anything i can do to get all of my stuff back?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.

Basic Backup
For some people Time Machine will be more than adequate. Time Machine is part of OS X. There are two components:
1. A Time Machine preferences panel as part of System Preferences;
2. A Time Machine application located in the Applications folder. It is
used to manage backups and to restore backups. Time Machine
requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the
drive being backed up.
Alternatively, get an external drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):

Enclosures for FireWire and USB are readily available. You can find only FireWire enclosures, only USB enclosures, and enclosures that feature multiple ports. So my phone got wet the other day. I dried it out completely, but the touch screen still isn't working. Is there anything I can do short of getting a new phone? If the phone is taken to a store, troubleshooting can indeed be done. The store representative can even contact us while you're there. Do you have insurance on the device? Or, do you maybe have a prior vzw device that can be activated until the upgrade is available? You can also check your My Verizon account to see if your line( or another line on the account) is eligible for an upgrade. VZW always has options for you.

When I bought it it was working just fine. There was no sim in it when I got it. I went into the settings and reset the phone back to factory. The phone rebooted itself and now, when the loading symbol is done loading, it goes away for a second and then is right back. It just keeps rebooting over and over until it's dead.
My computer won't find it and the charger isn't charging it anymore.Possibly... but per the terms of use of these forums, discussion of jailbroken devices is not permitted.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

I have a MacBook Pro with Intel Core Duo and Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Would like to upgrade to Lion but it requires a minimum of Intel Core 2 Duo. Can I get what I need or do I have to buy new MacBok Pro?
I also have a core duo MBP with Snow Leopard and it runs perfectly. There are very few things it cannot do as compared to the faster, newer MBPs, but that is attributable to the CPU, not the OS. There are some who view Lion as downgrade rather than as an improvement. If there are important applications that reqire a fast CPU or Lion features that you find essential, by all means get a new MBP.
I have an aphorism: Obsolescence is more often a perception rather than a reality. Besides the silver keys look much classier than the black ones.

Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.
