I closed my session without saving. Previously for the same tabs I had pressed save while closing. I didn't restore old session while opening firefox again. Is there any way I can get my previous session back???

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no need for asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle the value with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

While I can't help you get back Playlists that have been deleted (by iTunes!), I can hopefully help you stop that happening again. The latest version of iTunes (on 4th July 2012) is 10.6.3.25 and this version fixes the bug that has been present (in iTunes) for the last few updates.
So first of all, make sure you have iTunes 10.6.3.25 installed.
For any Playlist you created, you will simply have to compile them again from memory, or by starting again.

The sync wasn't fully complete and I got a message from iTunes saying that my Ipod was in distress, and that I couldn't use it or Itunes unless I restored it back to factory settings. After trying unsucsessfully to get this message off both my computer and iPod screen, I restored my iPod thinking that my iPod had been backed up earlier in the sync. It hadn't. There are lots of ideas floating on the web for this particular issue - all of which I tried. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my USB cable. I thought the cable was fine as it would charge my phone and play but the data transfer pin was bent. I replaced the cable and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot as it is an easy fix!

You'll have to get a new one from your carrier. I believe the shipping instructions for mail in service explicitly tell you to take it out as you will most likely not receive the same phone back. Apple doesn't repair most phones, they replace them.

If you use the same iCloud ID and before you will get your contact, calendar and notes and other iCloud things back. If your previously has PhotoStream one you will also get back the last 30 days of photos.
It appears you do not use the same iCloud ID.
What do you see for Contacts, Calendar and Notes when you go to icloud.com and sing in with the same ID. You need a computer browser.

Are you running Mountain Lion (Mac OSX 10.8.x)? If so, and you are using Pages, you should be aware that Apple has implemented a new auto-save feature for its software (and other software that has been written to comply). The very good news is that you can retrieve prior states of your document. The bad news is that the feature makes it easy to modify your work inadvertently by saving your changes without your knowledge. I don't think Apple has it quite right yet. In any event, research OS 10.8 auto-save and see if this might be your problem.

the plan will get over ridden. I think if I publish the current version of the plan with a different name and then perform restoration it will not override the current version of the plan.

I do not understand what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to create a duplicate of the current enterprise project, but with a different name? If so, there is one pretty simple way to do this. Open the enterprise project and
click File > Save As. In the Save to Project Server dialog, click the Type pick list and select Template. Edit the name for this temporary enterprise template so that it is different from the project name, and then click the Save button.
In the Save as Template dialog, do not select any of the checkboxes and then click the Save button. When the system finishes saving the project as a template, close the project. Now click File > New > Project Server Template. Select
the template you just saved and then click the OK button. You now have an exact copy of your project, ready for you to save and publish. Hope this helps.
