Question

This will probably get flagged but this community portal is (in my mind) a waste of my time.I want to look for "self help" not a flame session that is a pain to log in and does not render any suitable results. In other words..a waste of money.

You're right. On the other hand most of the people complaining on here are at a frustration level which can't get much worse. They are at the end of their rope. It would appear that some either can't understand that or refuse to understand that. In fact its probably helpful for them to be able to vent their frustration. Last thing they need is to be insulted, put down, called a liar , ect.
On yet another hand, when someone helps with a possible solution which does not mesh with the thoughts of the person asking the question, they are quite often labeled as a kool aid drinking Verizon employee masquerading as a customer when if fact they most likely are nothing of the sort.
