I downloaded Firefox 4.0, but there isn't an "install" button to click on and I continue to get the download prompt each time I sign on my computer.

After clicking the download button, the download box comes up and asks if I want to save or cancel. I click on save and nothing happens that I can tell. I do not get anything that says to click on for installing the upgrade to 4.0. This happens every time I try to upgrade. What can I do to upgrade to 4.0?

After saving the file which is likely called "Firefox Setup 4.0.1.exe" you need to run it to install Firefox 4.
If you do not clear the downloads from the download manager, you can run the installer from the downloads manager. Open the download manager, then right-click on the Firefox setup file and select Open. As soon as you start running the setup file, close Firefox. You need to do this so that the setup file can replace the files in the Firefox installation directory.

When I start my computer (Windows) I find a message window on my Home Page (AOL) that tells me somethinglike "It is recommended that you up-date your software to Firefox 4.0 (?)". Finally I just cancel the whole process.......until next time I go online and the same window tells me to update my software.

A compatible SIM card would be from AT&T and would not work in India. It sounds as if your iPhone was hacked to unlock it and when you updated it, the hack was removed, thus relocking it to AT&T.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times and each time it says to re-install iTunes but it doesn't solve the problem. I've been trying to get this to work all day and I'm extremely frustrated. Someone please help me with this. I've done all the reserach on how to fix this and nothing has worked. Sounds like at least two different things are happening to you at once here.
Steps for dealing with the "network resource" message, follow:
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Thanks for your response to my question, I see your point and will do that, however, I have another folder that was created before I had a Mac, which has all sorts of lovely titles and labels and some of those pictures I brought over to my ibook when I first started. So there are some duplicates in my iphoto library that I already have backed up in that other folder. I guess I shouldn't really obsess about those. I guess I am just nervous about deleting all my prior iphoto library, but I should have faith that it will all be there in my pictures library. Just trying to clean up the virtual mess.
I'll hold my breath and take the plunge.
