I filled in a Word pdf document, sent it to a client who uses Word in Windows 7 and the form appears blank when they open it. They can read the form, but nothing that I filled in. Help!
I was sent a lengthy pdf form that required me to enter data onto it. The sentences appeared compressed on my screen, but I could see everything that I entered. Next emailed it to my boss and when he opened it on his Windows 7 with Word, all of the data that I had entered appeared lost. It was as if I hadn't entered anything on the form. So I asked him to send it back to me. He did and when I opened it on my Mac Book Air, all of the information that I had filled in was there on my screen.
This went back and forth a few times, but the result was always the same. I have been requested to complete the form on a Windows based computer, which will take me hours. Any ideas what causes this problem and how to fix it?
What has this to do with Pages? You probably did this in Preview.

Why is my PDF form empty (blank) when I open it from my Iphone?
The only solution I've found is to download adobe reader on my Iphone and open the PDF form with this app... Do you know if there is an option when creating a PDF Form with Adobe Acrobat Pro to allow people to see a PDF Form with their Iphone?

sorry this was a vague problem...i sent an email to a french website but it bounced back saying messge could not be sent due to mistake in address. now every time i go to my mail the message..This mail cannot be sent appears..i press the OK to and it still appears every time i log on..Any clues on how to get rid of this message?

All of a sudden the e-mail attachments I send to my MacBook Pro from my PC Laptop open up as winmail.dat as a blank sheet of paper. This only started happening within the last week. Before that everything was fine. I check my PC and confirmed the attachments are set up to be sent in HTML. Any suggestions?
I am having the same issue.
Luckily I have only migrated my own mailbox to office365.
Tried both true and false TNEFEnabled on both onpremise and office365 via powershell and confirmed that both have been applied.
If I send the email as a plain text then the attachment works ok. If I send it as HTML then I get winmail.dat.
The above KB doesnt really help me, sending plain text emails is like going back to the dark ages!
I am sending from outlook to outlook (I send from my external email address, to my work email address and visa-versa)
If someone with an onpremise mailbox sends me an email, the attachment works ok.
If someone sends me an attachment via hotmail, the attachment works ok.
It seems to only effect emails I send to myself through outlook, i am sending it through a POP3 account to our onpremise exchange 2010 which forwards the email to office365 -

It does print the cover e-mail but nothing else. The attachment is not secure as far as I can see. I have tried sending an attachment from my Mac and that worked fine.

Are you trying to send the PDF as an attachment in an e-mail sent to the ePrint e-mail address of the printer or are you trying to print using the ePrint app?
Try sending the same PDF document to the printer's ePrint e-mail address and let us know if that works. If this works but using the ePrint app is not working, maybe the ePrint app is not working fine with this PDF document (it could be due to it's size or something else). Remember that you can always use the e-mail ePrint address of the printer to send PDF documents as the processing is happening at the HP servers and not in your iPad as when you try to send it using the ePrint app.

Is there a way to flip the pages in a .pdf so that all of the text is readable (in other words all documents are right side up)? I have Adobe Acrobat X and am using Windows 8.1.

When I open a word document attachment in mail for IOS 7.1.1 the previous jpeg is showing on the first page. When I open the attachment from mail in mac OS X the jpeg does not appear. Can anyone help?

The mail app will not display fillable form fields in PDF files that can be seen in real PDF apps. I say real PDF apps because the form fields in PDF apps will not appear in the iBooks app either. IMO, iBooks is not a real PDF app.

You can't. You can export Pages files as PDF documents but you cannot save a PDF into Pages. It does not support that feature.
There are tons of PDF apps in the App Store aside from iBooks. Adobe Reader makes a pretty decent PDF app that will store, annotate, rename, highlight, use form fields, sign pdf's, and organize in folders. It is free as well. There are other apps, you just have to Serach for them. -

The display of images from BLOB is a special case because APEX provides a Display Image item type.
Moreover, HTP/HTF packages also do not provide for handling of BLOB content. So AJAX cannot be used.
Which implies that the only way to get binary content, other than images, is with the use of a WPG_DOCLOAD.DOWNLOAD_FILE call.
This in turn implies that it may not be feasible to "inject" the BLOB into an exist HTML DOM in the Browser.

There is no native functionality for encrypting a PDF document from within BusinessObjects Enterprise. Additionally, none of the BOE SDKs are able to encrypt a PDF document either. Generally speaking, if it is not possible in the product (BOE) it's not possible with the various SDKs.
I am not aware of any third party tools that can do this from inside BOE either. If you haven't done so already you may want to post a question to the [Business Objects Board|http://www.forumtopics.com/busobj/index.php?sid=1037068e7b26619422be6a7b18a8c2ee] (BOB) to see if anyone there has a suggestion.

Embed Word/PDF Documents in Documaker 12.1

We have a requirement to embed word/PDF documents during runtime . The path for the PDF/Word document comes as an input in a XML node and we would need to have them embeded/inserted in between the formset. We use Documaker 12.1 ODEE and would like to know if there is any built in utilites/rules that would support adding word/PDF documents during run-time. The documents can be inserted anywhere on the policy package. Though the Rules reference manual says the rule AddMultipageBitmap can be used to embed word/PDF, it doesn't seems to work with them in UNIX. It works perfeclty well for TIFF images. Let us know if we would need to add entries in the INI files to support the rule to embed word/PDF documents.

If it is Linux or Solaris the Word attachment to the document should work out-of-the-box with configuration. For AIX the Oracle Outside In Image Export runtime component that converts the documents for most document types (except for specific types of TIFF) needs a X11 DISPLAY context with user authorization for which to run the rule in because that what it uses to do the conversion to an image.
Is this AIX you are trying to do this on? If so the ODEE installer for 12.1.x sets a DISPLAY variable in the docfactory.sh startup script in a section for that platform that you would have use to point to a X11 Motif or Lesstif DISPLAY (e.g. my.server.com:2) that has a running X11 server. VNC server option will work also so that the system can remain headless.
I thought that the Oracle Documaker Enterprise Edition document covers this requirement under its attachments notes, not sure.
See documentation on Oracle Outside In Image Export for supported documents it can handle and platforms.
I am not sure if the version Oracle Documaker uses but here is a document reference for v8.3.5 for the Unix particulars, http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14154_01/dev.835/e12885/c03_unix.htm .

I have been downloading pictures and they open up in Preview which is fine but I downloaded a bunch of them and now every time I open preview, ALL those pictures open up. This also happens with MS word - the last document open automatically opens. HELP!

From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized!
