This is an unsolicited ad for "winning" an I phone. I am very tired of winning all this junk. I certainly do not want ads talking to me now.

This appears above the page, in the toolbar area? That's probably caused by an add-on. Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or remove).
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that get rid of the ad?
Two other things:
(1) You may want to check the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, for any undisclosed bundle items. Click the "Installed on" column heading to group by date so they are easier to spot. Remove whatever looks suspicious or unnecessary.
(2) You may want to supplement your regular security software with some of the scanning/cleaning programs listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].

This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

Right click (cntl-click) on the top of the bar and select "customize toolbar". Drag the default set back in.

How do I make attachments I receive in mail appear at the top of my messages? Sometimes they are imbedded all the way at the bottom of an on going discussion and I don't even realize that there is an attachment.

If someone sends you an attachment, it's going to show up where they attached it in their message to you.
Messages with attachments show a paper clip icon in two places, in the middle column of the Mail window, next to the senders name, and next to the sender's name at the top of the message itself.
One way to make messages with attachments show more clearly is to create a Mail Rule, like this:
By setting a colored background to the messages that contain attachments, they'll stand out pretty clearly in the message list.
Note that there are several different types of attachments in the dropdown menu (where you see Document and PDF above). Keep pressing the plus sign to add different attachment types to your rule so that all will stand out on your list of messages.

Yes - email & text work fine but when I use something like Google Images or search a blog with imbedded photos I get the empty white boxes with question marks. If I click the question mark it opens the photo but I can't possibly do that for EVERY image on EVERY page I search!?!?! To move to the top of the list, you would use the Home button as with most places on the Mac, fn-Left Arrow on a MacBook Pro.

Scroll to the end of a document (same as End key)
Note you need to be in the song list so it knows what your are moving to the top of, so click on a song first if none is currently selected.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode) and choose the 'Reset toolbars and controls option'. This will get you back to the stock icon set which you can then customize to your liking

Press the iTunes' status bar (the one you can find at the bottom of the window) and drag it to another part of your desktop in order to show the toolbar and the close, minimize and maximize buttons
