I have 4th gen nano that won't sync to my new laptop windows 7 I transfer everything off of my old pc onto my new one so all of my music was in my itunes library and it still is but when I go to sync new songs it keeps asking me to authorize my computer and it is already authorize just don't know what to do anymore. Should i deauthorize the 2 computers that it is saying that are authorize and start over? Please help

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

How come when I sync my 4th gen. nano it says its syncing and when its done i disconnect it and go into music and it says no songs then i go into settings and it says i have 1.0GB free but theres no videos, no music, nothing on the iPod

I had that happen with a MacBook. It turned out that the metal case above the slot was slightly bent down.
Putting a flat blade screwdriver in the slot and gently twisting it to move the metal case up allowed it to eject. Don't put it in too far you only want to bend the case not the drive.
The case can get bent down by picking it up with your thumb pressing down on the case above the slot.

Ditto. Guest accounts shouldn't have a password. No way to enter one in System Prefs...

And since the old e-mail address is no longer active, I can't even chenge the password- becasue it's sends the link to do so via e-mail! Even when I use the "ask personal questions" option to verify and it asks me for my date of birth, I put it in and it still won't acccept.

Honestly, from experience however, if it asks you for the password again, the previous one was likely incorrect. Maybe a typo...

HT1386 4th gen iPod touch won't sync to iTunes

I connected it to add recently downloaded songs to my iPod. Itunes said it couldn't recognize the device and that I had to restore it, so I did. It wiped everything clean, but now it won't sync my music or photos onto it. I press "sync" and iTunes says it is going through the process, but nothing changes on the iPod. Both iTunes and the iPod are up to date, I have tried multiple USB cords. I don't know what else to do.

Do you currently have a credit card set up in your iTunes store Enter Payment Information screen?
If so, grab a recent statement for that card and check to make sure that the address that shows up in your Enter Payment Information screenexactly matches the address showing on your credit card statement. For example, if your address in the credit card statement says "Street", the iTunes screen has to also say "Street" (Not St or Str.) Also match the capitalisation of the address on your statement. (If it says STREET in the statement make it say STREET in the iTunes screen, not Street or street.)
Also make sure that your name in the iTunes screen exactly matches the one in your statement. (Say, if you've got a middle initial in the credit card statement name, you need one in the iTunes screen.)
After doing that, does that get you past the invalid address thing?

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

My pc crashed. I got it back up and running but my itunes music library is gone. I have the music on my ipod but am afraid to sync new music in case it deletes all my music off my ipod. How do I get the music back onto my library but not delete of ipod?

I recently purchased a new laptop and installed iTunes right away! the problem is, a few min after I have connected my iPhone and it is supposed to be syncing music to the laptop, it keeps popping up with Error -54. which i guess just means it can't sync? So i uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes again several times and i still get the same message except only now it shows up in my music library but when you click on it, it skips to the next available song automatically. What do i do and how do i fix this?

Copy the iTunes library from your old computer to your new one. There are multiple ways to do this. Transferring it via the iPhone is NOT one of them. The iPhone is not a backup, or data transfer device.
