And since the old e-mail address is no longer active, I can't even chenge the password- becasue it's sends the link to do so via e-mail!  Even when I use the "ask personal questions" option to verify and it asks me for my date of birth, I put it in and it still won't acccept.

    This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

    Adobe has blocked my use of LR5 software that I bought and paid for. This happened when a trial Cloud subscription expired.  Adobe is illegally seizing my property, and threatening my business, unless I can get this full access to LR5 restored immediately.

    Of course you got cut off from the creative cloud! It's a 30 day trial, and if you don't subscribe you can't use the software that you downloaded from the creative cloud. It will have to be uninstalled. Then you can install from one of these websites:
    Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
    Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
    The program is identical, but licensing is completely different. And you cannot license the creative cloud installation with a serial number. The link I have given you it is for the trial version. When you start the program and the trial screen appears choose the option that indicates that you have a serial number. That will guide you through the process of entering your serial number.

  • Acrobat X1 pro 'bought and paid for' suddenly turned to Trial Version

    this is what I'm seeing each time I try to open a pdf file or convert a file to pdf. I purchased Acrobat X1 pro Jan 2014 and suddenly today, Aug 9/14 this is what is happening.
    Adobe, what is going on? What do I do now?

    I'm having the same problem - however I may know a possible cause - otherwise I have no idea how to prevent the non stop requests (OK several per day) to license my already bought and paid for Acrobat Pro 11, some time back without problems  - until recently.
    The possible cause? For many months - I would have to check - I have been using the test/trial version of the next Acrobat. When a build came along that was not easy to use (M7 icon troubles) I decided to uninstall the test version and reinstall the bought/licensed Acrobat Pro 11, that I had been using before the 'test version' without any troubles.
    Alas the problem with having to license the program Acrobat Pro 11 pops up often at the most inconvenient times (preventing saving of edits for example, which I have to do again).
    I'm using Windows 8 (not upgraded to 8.1 but otherwise up to date) 64 bits. As mentioned, using the first install of Acrobat Pro 11 (before uninstalling to test the new version of Acrobat) was unproblematic. Thanks for any help.

    If you bought/paid for them in the Mac App Store, you would just need to sign in to the MAS with the Apple ID you used to purchase them, go to purchases, and click install.
    As for the limited licensing that Bordy brought up, the TOS for the MAS states:
    "Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use."
    If you installed them from an iWork disc, just pop the disc back in and reinstall.

    Up front I would say the short answer is "no"... but the long answer is "sort of".
    Replicators are part of the Fractal "arsenal" and Motion definitely has those, but I think you would be very hard pressed to come anywhere near the type of fractal imaging as in the Electric Sheep example.
    I was able to squeeze the following out of Motion (the base element is a simple square), but by the time it got this far, Motion wouldn't play faster than about 1 frame every 5 or so seconds. At a certain point, you end up having to render movie files in order to see it in action (and that took Motion about 8 minutes for a 12 second project [09 iMac i7].) [If you're interested, I posted a short video of these here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6Fe_ydfAss. The segments are longer than 12 seconds each because these are designed to loop @12 seconds and each one was looped more than once.]
    [You asked the question on the 4th - I "finished" this on the 7th... (I admit to several "false starts")]
    If you have a faster mac than mine, you might be able to do more than this... and you really don't have access to the Maths that fractal apps have, so depending on your creativity for devising the "root" motif element you may (or may not) be disappointed in what Motion has to offer (it *will* try your patience!) If you would like to experiment anyway, I will explain some of the techniques I used for the above (which are, at best, rudimentary!) Once you get the basics down, you should be able to take off in your own directions.

    To give you something, I need something too, like
    How old is the Ipod? (if it is still under warranty, then send it to Apple service shop)
    Are you running Windows iTunes or Mac iTunes?
    What do you see on the iPod screen?
    My guess is, your iPod classic is more than 2 years old and out of warranty, and the hardisk has gone kaput! and need to be replaced.

    did you not have your keychain remember it for you? this is the best way to save passwords for Mac its under "Utilities-->Keychain access" if it was saved and just not put in your password field you can check in there for the password.
    if you need to reset your AP Extreme there is a small hole on the back locate that and follow the instructions here

    just call them...i bought my PB when it came out...but I had an issue recently and called them up and they helped me out....

  • Unable to play certain songs that I have bought and paid for via Itunes.

    All of a suddent it keeps asking me to authorize my computer to play certain songs, when I do it says the computer is already authorized but it kicks it back to the authorization log in screen when I click on the song I want to play. I have deleted Itunes, redownloaded, cleared caches and done pretty much what every one else has said to do but I still can't get them to play.
    Between this and the 2gb Ipods of two of my boys... shutting off when they fast forward to another song.. I am about to give up on Itunes period.

    Have you tried resetting your iPod:
    Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
    button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
