I have 738 songs in a playlist that I want to put on my phone. When I check off the playlist it says 749 songs will be added? Help please

I made sure nothing else is checked but that playlist so I really don't know why more songs are going to be added than what it's suppose to be.

Weirdest problem!!!!! Just a random song was being synced to it. I found it and deleted it off the main music library and it the problem was solved.

You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match.

Are you in your user account?
In the Import window you'll see a Desktop folder at the root level of our drive. You don't want that one.
You want the one in your the folder for your user account.

I had my iPod set up and everything then when I hooked or up to my computer iTunes told me that my iPod could not be read and that I needed to restore it, so I did that and after when i plugged it into iTunes and selected the songs that I wanted to put on my iPod and clicked sync it started to sync but right when it gets to the end it goes blank and says choose your songs/playlists once again and I have to start all over. Restore them to the new computer using the bakcup of the old one. If you don't have a backup of the old computer, you can re-download music purchased from the iTunes store. If they were imported from CD's, etc. You will either have to re-rip them or purchase third party software to extract them from the phone. The iPhone is not a backup or data transfer device.

You can delete photos from individual albums but not from the camera roll. If you try to delete a photo from camera roll it will be deleted from all other albums ("locations") that contain the photo. This is because the actual photo is in the camera roll (the albums only contain links to the photo in camera roll, not the actual photo).

I just logged into iTunes on my MacBook Pro and my favority playlist changed the order of the songs (and I did nothing!). I did not click any columns to sort differently or anything along those lines. In addition, I added some songs and moved them from Recently Added to this Playlist, but they won't move (well, I can drag them to where I want them, but they don't stay there!). Does iTunes see the iPod?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Did you update the iOS via iTunes? Directly on the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your phone and re-download it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on it, or the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

You can transfer the purchases you made on your old iPhone 3 by plugging it in to iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases from your IPhone to the iTunes on your computer. This will get music you purchased in iTunes, apps, etc. (e.g., movies).
But for the rest you would need to restore a backup of your newly deceased computer.

Does this only happen with the tracks you have downloaded from the iTunes Store? Perhaps you should work the suggestions in this Apple support document first.
