I opened up my pages app and the document i needed opened up automatically, i turned away from my ipad to log onto my computer only to find when i look back at my ipad that ALL my documents have been deleted!! It is very important i get these back as i have an assignment to hand in tomorrow and ALL my revision is on their for my exam in 4 days time. please please please help me get my documents back onto my ipad? My mini Ipad has somehow gone into a enlarged picture mode which is making it very hard for me to use. I cant seem to get it back to normal size. Can anyone advise me please. Val.

Using airport extreme to share an ethernet printer
I'm sure this is supposed to be easy but I can't get it to work. I have a wifi network and an Airport Extreme. I want to use the Airport Extreme only to share an ethernet printer to other macs in the house. I'm using Airport Utility and have gotten my base station on the network. Now, how do I get to this printer?? My config tabs in Airport Utility are Base Station, Internet, Wireless, and Disks - I'm missing another tab that I see in on-line instructions of how to set this up (maybe because mine is old - v7.6.1). How do I ask if the Airport Extreme can see the printer I've plugged into it?
perfect, the printer has an admin page, but how do I get to it - how do I find out what IP address has been handed to it by the Airport - or does it just pass it through to the router?
I've also seen posts on-line suggesting that if the main router is not an Apple Airport, then the Extreme cannot share a printer. Is that right? -

No, not if your printer has wireless capability. I assume that your Mac is printing OK using wireless, correct?

That would be a question for the support folks at the printer manufacturer. They will likely ask if you have setup the PC for printing capability. If not, they should be able to provide some tips for this. -
Can't print using Airport Extreme with a DELL P1500 printer
I connected my Dell P1500 printer to the USB port of the Airport Extreme. I can see the printer under USB printers in Airport Utility, but cannot print.
Note: I can print when I am connected directly to my MacBook Pro.
Please help.You will need to use the AirPort Utility to both verify that the AEBSn "recognizes" the USB drive and to enable File Sharing. Once those two steps have been completed, you can then try to access it from your Vista PC.
Note: The AEBSn will not "recognize" a drive formatted in NTFS connected to its USB port. It would have to be formatted in either FAT32 or HFS+. -

I have a MacBook Pro that came with Mac OS 10.7 Lion on it, and had been printing on both an HP Photosmart 8200 and an Epson Artisan 800. I had an issue where I would print from Photoshop and every time I would print I'd need to make a new printer. I don't think that it was ONLY WAY, but it worked for me. Anyways, I finally got tired of scrolling down the list to choose the new printer – HP Photosmart 8200_23 – or something like that, so I deleted some of the printers that had extra numbers. This is where the print Print & Scan dialog in the system prefs has the little plus and minus. It turns out that I pressed the minus on everything - going overboard with my clicks. Now, I have NO PRINTER and each time my computer tries to download drivers from HP and Epson, they have no updates for me. When I go on there website there are no drivers for Mac 10.7. I have no idea how to get my printers back. Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When I open Mail, all accounts appear offline. I have to get back "online" before mail is delivered or sent. Hassle. Any Ideas??

I was having this same issue all week. I'm also using 10.8.5 It was driving me crazy. I think I found a solution. I downloaded and installed the latest security update from Apple in the App Store. I have not had a reoccurance since (?). Maybe that will help you as well. -
ok my itunes deleted 11 of my songs and i cant get them back they are still on itunes and when i try to get them back on my ipod it wont let me i have tried every way possible and it wont even sync on itunes
That's because the iPhone is NOT a backup device. You're going to have to use 3rd party software to try and extract them from the phone. Unfortunately, the photos stored on the phone in anything other than the camera roll are NOT at the original resolution. Resolution is reduced for photos synced TO the iPhone to optimize them for the display.

I am unable to stream video and I lose connection frequently. Ive tried it using wireless connection and with ethernet. Ive tried using the O2 router (%series) as a modem for the extreme, Ive tried using the O2 without the extreme - not poss to extend network but MUCH faster, and Ive tried using a variety of other routrers and modems. My flat is 10m x 6m, there are no other wireless devices within or immediately adjoining except for my wireless landline phone that I have changed three times. Every single piece of my home network has been to the genius bar at least three times and the entire network with all devices has been taken twice. Genius bar have found either no fault or no explanation. Applecare dont seem able to tie their own shoe laces and have been worse than useless, suggesting things like checking a plug fuse (good advice but not relevant). I met a chap socially who turned out to be an apple employee home networking specialist. He offered to look at it and came to my flat. I quote him now: "F**k me, its just not supposed to do tha., Theres something seriously wrong with the system. It's an Apple problem completely". However, despite repeated requests I have not been invited to escalate the issue beyond the genius bar. Enen though everything possible is apple (they dont make a modem for ADSL??), all I get from them is it must be the fault of something else.
PS Ive had my O2 connection checked tens of times and paid for a bt engineer to check my line 4 times.
PPS The thunderbolt display was sold to me after I refused one on the grounds that the location of my mini was more than 2 metres from the display, and the salesperson reassured me that the thunderbolt connection was universally available and that would have no problem connecting the display to my mini 5 metres away.
I may well not be too bright when it comes to computers, but with their attitude of there being NO SUCH THING AS A BAD/FAULTY APPLE PRODUCT, ONLY SILLY CUSTOMERS WHO HAVENT WORKED OUT HOW TO USE THEM YET, I wish I will soon see their brand will rot in commercial oblivion ****. I have focused this on home netwrking but that is the tip of the iceberg. Wireless printer is offline and I can't get it back online
I have a HP Envy 700-414 Desktop PC operating with Windows 8.1 (64-bit) system that was connected wirelessly to a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer. It worked fine for the first couple of days.
