This has only been a problem with the new update. Help me please!

Asking for card details is a way of confirming that you are able to buy from that country's store, it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you are trying to gift content or an amount, that can only be done via a credit card) - have you tried entering the card, you should then get the 'none' option so that you can remove it

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:

Money on my account from itunes cards unavailable?

I had $35 and change on my account,went to buy something, got a message stating the it was unavailable but I could continue to shop with credit card. Now when I log on i do not show any balance and i had just registered a new itunes card.
Any one else getting this?

When a new album is created it will fill with whatever is in the right hand window, If you're in the Events or Photos mode it will contain all photos in the library. Yes, strange behavior.

There is no none option for payment method, even if I buy a free app.
I have no credit card.

What I can see here is that you have 2 options -
You can use your Apple ID to create your account, but you must enter a credit card.
***Once you have successfully created the account with a credit card, you can simply remove the card from your account.
Or you can create an iTunes Store account with a free application. However, you cannot use this Apple ID. You must start the process from the beginning with a different email address. This article shows you how:

Assuming you have finished with your old backup.....
You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > backup & storage > manage......

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Thank you so much. Any specifics I should know about prior to connecting? The goal is to watch Netflix from my iPad or iPhone 5 on my tv (located in different room from where Comcast internet modem is hard wired to main computer in house). Have you created an iCloud account? This is not the account or ID you use for iTunes. And where exactly are you turning on notes? In what area within settings of your devices?
