It sounds like you are referring to Photo Stream, a service within iCloud. Photo Stream will only upload new photos to iCloud.

Of course, you can disable Photo Stream in Settings > iCloud. If you are looking to import your photos to your computer, see the following article:

click on the contact which you want to integrate, click the edit button scroll down u will find a option called link contacts use it to link it to the duplicate contact

HT201317 I reset my photostream in iCloud but I still have old pictures in Photostream on my iPhone that I now want to move to the cloud so I can sync them to my PC ... new pics sync to the cloud fine - can I sync the older ones?

I had 146 pictures on my iPhone 4S PhotoStream but it wasn't syncing to my PC properly so I "reset" my iCloud trying to get things to work.
So now the NEW picures I take sync to my PC just fine ... is there any way at all to get the 146 pics to sync to the cloud now? Or any way of getting them to my PC short of emailing them all? HELP!

Thanks so much Winston - I didn't even realize that the cord I use to recharge with an outlet is actual a USB connection that disconnects from the outlet plug! Worked like a charm ... PC detected the new device, loaded up the proper drivers, and I was able to move pictures over from the now available folder from the "My Computer" icon or into Picasa or whatever. A bit annoying that the pictures weren'tarranged in the same folders as on my iPhone, but all-in-all a most excellent suggestion - if I could figure outhow to give you a "green checkmark" indicating you solved my problem I would do so, but for now please settle formy thanks!

TS4108 I have recently done a software update on my phone, when complete I could not get the phone to work and the icon showed I had to connect to I-tunes. I then lost some recent data and photos. If they are backed up to the cloud how do I recover them?

When I completed my last software update directly on my phone I didn't realise I would then be prompted to do and I-tunes update that would wipe my phone. There seemed to be no turning back so I lost some data and photos. I'm assuming these will be backed up to the cloud but have no idea how to retrieve them.

If you have an iCloud backup, restore it to your phone as explained here: https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521. If you have a backup on your computer instead, restore it to your phone by connecting your phone to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Restore from Backup.

When you say "backed up in the cloud" do you mean you backed up your old phone to iCloud, or do you mean photo stream?

A friend of mine gave me some information on this when I told him what I was experiencing. If you save your details to the iCloud some time ago and the device you are using now is on a different iOS, then it will not retrieve the details properly.
I updated my old iPhone4 to iOS6.01 or whatever the latest one is and backed up the info to the iCloud. Then updated my iPhone4S to the same iOS and RESET it, switched it on and went through the setup process again and it successfully pulled the information from the iCloud to my iPhone4S.

It should do so automatically, if not check it's staus this way.
In iTunes press "Command J" or select "View Options," under the view menu. In the popup window check iCloud Status. It will now appear as one of the columns in your main iTunes window.
This column will show which of your songs are matched, uploaded, ineligible, etc.
When you navigate to the song you downloaded you will see it's iCloud status.
If the status says, "waiting," and you want it available on Match now, then in the iTunes "Store," menubar pulldown, select "Update iTunes Match."
It will scan your drive, and update all status'.
You will not have to upload everything again.
Even if in iTunes you turn Match off, and back on again.
Match remembers you!

The user data is store in the profile folder. You can copy the data manually by copying the contents of the profile folder, for details see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup Profile backup - MozillaZine Knowledge Base] or [[Backing up your information]].
There are some add-ons and utilities that can make this process easier. The first one is the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109/ FEBE] add-on which can be used to copy a profile. Another option is the free [http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ MozBackup] utility.

Just get into "General" -> last option is "RESET" -> Opt for "RESET NETWORK SETTINGS"
Your phone will reeboot in a couple of minutes n then get fine on with full signal on the wifi scale.

Did you go into Settings > Store and then tap your old ID, sign out and then enter your new ID?

I have an iPhone 4 on IOS5. I signed up for itunes match. After everything uploaded to the cloud, my songs are messed up. I'll select a song and the title will show with the right art work but a different song will start playing. Anyone have a solution?

I have found that scrolling through the album list (past albums without art) triggers the progress wheel next to the wifi symbol. You can scroll quickly through the whole collection and then wait! Artwork will appear gradually...
However, repeat visits to the Music App might initially show no artwork again, but it might spontaneously appear more quickly this time. The bad news is that the whole Music App is now sluggish as ****...
