I have a new Mac OS X Version 10.6.7. When trying to dowload Firefox updates, it wont comlplete the download, that is it simply runs and runs and runs!!

When the offer to update Firefox appears when I open Firefox, I accept the offer, but then the download will not complete itself.
Apple have told me they cannot support me as it is Firefox and not Safari.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Install the new version that you have downloaded

Go to iTunes > about iTunes. What version are you running? If necessary, hold down the option key while starting iTunes and create a new, test library so it will start.

Both iPhotos open to a default library (#2) which has 300+ photos, I attempted to "switch to library" under the file tab in iPhoto and tried to choose "other library" which had most of my photos. When I attempt to open it, it doesn't do anything. I can see it and there are 2 libraries but it won't open.
Have you tried to open your old iPhoto library by double-clicking it directly, instead of using the File menu? That should work, if you are running iPhoto '11 and the library has been created by that version or an older version. DO you get an error message, if you select the library directly in the Finder?
I checked and it is the latest version of iPhoto.
Is it iPhoto '11, version 6.0.5? "Latest version" is ambiguous, because it will depend on your system version.

In previous versions of OS X you did see this information via the Options & Supplies pane for the selected printer in Print & Scan. But with 10.8 this information was removed so know you need to use System Information > Printers to see information about an installed printer.

I believe that the document does not print because the print queue has not been created correctly. The CAPT driver requires a specific queue name and if the queue name is wrong then you will not be able to print.

Not surprised to read that. Mtn Lion has caused some issues for owners of CAPT printers, especially if they upgraded to 10.8 from 10.7 or 10.6.
Since you mention the ability to print on 10.5, I just want to check that you are physically moving the USB cable connected to the LBP from the 10.5 Mac to the 10.8 Mac, rather than sharing the printer from one Mac to the other. Because if you are sharing the printer from the 10.5 to the 10.8 Mac then this can be a cause of your current issue. The CAPT driver does not work when it is being shared to other Mac's.

The planned dates of production or release of Windows 8.1 drivers are speculation about the drivers.

You do not need to convert to DNG.
The NEFs from your camera model have been supported since ACR 4.6 and 5.1.
What you need to do is update your ACR plug-in to version 5.7, the latest and last version for CS4. Right now, you are probably on ACR 5.0, the version supplied with the original release of Photoshop CS4.
Be aware that the Adobe updater is extremely unreliable when it comes to CS5, so that you must do the update manually. There are detailed instructions on the ACR 5.7 plug-in download page. You MUST follow those instructions to the letter.

The serial number is the tricky part. If you have no idea where you placed it and did not register your product with Adobe, your chances are very low of retrieving it.

I have a customer experiencing exactly the same issue. Their computer is running Windows 7 Pro with Office 2007 SP3. After seemingly exhausting all troubleshooting options, I backed up their data, formatted the hard drive and performed a clean install of
Windows and all their applications. It didn't solve the problem!
What's strange is the customer also has a laptop computer, running the same version of Outlook, and that doesn't experience any problems connecting to Office 365 on the same network.
My next step is to send the customer a new ADSL modem/router to try.
I have another customer on Office 365, also running Outlook 2007, and they also experience issues with emails sitting in the outbox while Outlook displays the status message “Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft exchange server outlook.office365.com.”
In this case Outlook doesn't freeze/stop responding, like it does for the first customer I mentioned.

Before upgrading be sure you do the following:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Tiger Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
