A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Songs on Iphone now won't play, how do i fix this?

I downloaded several songs from itunes from my phone. most continue to play, a couple played a few times and now wont play at all. I synced my iphone to my computer, took the songs off my iphone and put them back on and they still won't play. Ive redownloaded the songs and they still wont play. All of the songs will play on my computer but for some reason those few wont play just on my iphone. please help!

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

When I open Firefox, the browser does not open. Instead I get a small window that says: TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined. How do I fix this?

I tried to uninstall AVG antiviral software, but it did not uninstall. Next, when I try to open Firefox I get a box popup that says:

If I click OK in that box, I can then open Firefox.
Also I can no longer update Java.

In most cars with built-in BT hands-free systems it is the car's system that does the speech to text conversion and lookup, not the phone's. so there's nothing that can be done in an iPhone forum to help you. Try the customer support site for the car. You can tell it's the car system if the contact list is downloaded to the car and displayed on the car's screen (if it has one).

Glad you found the answer. But something seems wrong. FCP should be able to assign the scratch disk to your startup drive. It's not advisable, but it should be possible. You might want to try and figure out what's going on before what ever's going on cause other problems.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you can't do this on a computer, which would be much easier using drag and drop, then you will need to share the contacts with yourself in order to move them to the iCloud account.

Thanks but that did not work. Details: when I don't have headphones plugged in, the volume won't go up or down and it also displays a circle with a line through it meaning it's not working. When I go to settings and look at my audio output, it only says headphones, even if no headphones are plugged in. I have tried inserting and removing headphones many times, also tried poking the inside of the headphone jack with a stripped Q-tip, and nothing works. Something inside the jack that senses headphones is not sensing the lack of headphones.

Tonite I have WIFI access. At least for tonite.
Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings
Then restore from backup.
I had to put the iPhone4 into blank factory state FIRST.
Then restored my iTunes backup.
