I have an iPod, my daughter gave me her laptop, now I have all her music AND my music on my iPod. If I delete on the laptop (PC) does it affect her cloud?
I also just got an iPad and the music list is exactly the way I want it. Is there a way to sync between the iPad and iPod?
You should use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new computer.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod.
The ipod will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase teh content from the ipod.

Hi am having problems with iTunes,I have all my music on my 4s but I bought the iPhone 5 today.is there any way that I can transfer music over to my new phone without using the library?as it doesn't seem to be on my PC anymore.i reset my pc and save my iTunes to a hard drive but can't access it.Need help please
" When I did this, my library showed all the music I have "purchased" from itunes but did not have the music that I downloaded a long time ago through itunes from my old CDs."
Correct.
" How can I get that music to show up in my library now on my new computer? "
Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod. -
My daughter gave me her old ipod nano is there a way where i can transfer thie to my name
My daughter gave me her old ipod is there a way i coild change the name to me?
Do you mean change the name of the iPod?
Renaming an iPod, iPhone, iPad or Mac
Or do you mean registering the device to you?
Get the serial number off the back. Log in to http://supportprofile.apple.com, click Add product and enter the serial number. If it says it is registered to another ID have your daughter sign in at the above webpage and remove it. -
My daughter gave me her old ipod.
My daughter gave me her old ipod. I have downloaded itunes to my window 7 computer. When I try to sync the ipod by connecting it to my computer the ipod does not show up in the itunes drop down menu. Is thid because the ipod was named by my daughter? Does she need to deauthorize it from her Mac computer?
I'm not sure what you mean by "drop-down window", but your daughter doesn't need to do anything for you to claim and use her iPod. If you have iTunes 11, the iPod should appear as a button in the upper-right of the iTunes window, e.g.:
If you have an earlier version of iTunes, you may need to update, but normally the iPod would appear in the sidebar under the "Devices" header. If it does not appear in either place, this support article may help:

I have all my music on my ipod touch. I no longer hav ethe pc that stored my music. Can I get my music to cloud by activating it with my ipod? If not how do I get my music back on my pc?
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
The content should have been copied from the old computer to the new computer or at the very least from the backup of the old computer. -
All my music was on prior to syncing. The sync deleted all my music. I can now no longer add any music. I have the "sync music" checked. Restoring factory settings did not work. Any thoughts?
When you synced with iTunes It would have tried to replace the music on the iPhone with what is on the computer. which is what happens when you sync with iTunes.
If the songs are purchased you can re-downloaded them Pretty easily. You mentioned that you still see the songs and that you could not play them. Do they have a Cloud symbol next to them? If so this means that you can download them but that they are not on the device. -
I have all my music on an external media drive that has crashed. How can I get the music of my ipod touch back onto the comupter without loosing the music when it syncs. in order to start rebuilding my music collection?
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!

If I create a new apple id account on my ipod, will I still have all my music, apps, books and other stuff on my ipod that I downloaded and bought with my old account or will I loose everything; will I be able to still do the updates to those apps?
I really need help!I don't think you understood what I wrote. You don't HAVE to pay for everything if you are happy with using the other account for updates, etc. But if you don't want to do that then you will have to buy new copies of everything for the new account. There's only one purchase item per account, but you can redownload an item in the account many times.
The idea is this:
One computer, multiple devices, one Apple ID.
One user, multiple devices, one Apple ID.
The basic idea is that each user has an Apple ID under which he/she can manage multiple devices on a single computer.
Once you step outside of that model you create such problems as not being able to use or update apps purchase under one Apple ID when using a different Apple ID. Or not being able to easily sync one device on more than one computer. -
I have two Creative Cloud accounts, occurred by accident, I wish to merge them and have all my details and licenses under one account, how do I do that?
This is due to the different changes Adobe has gone through and unfortunately I used different emails at certain times.Under one Adobe ID you can have one CC only,if by accident you have purchased two CC under one account, it needs to be cancelled & refunded, please contact Adobe Support at

I have all my music in iTunes and have "Music Match" turned on. Apparently, I also have music on my iPhone 5. I need to free up space on my iPhone. If I delete the music on my iPhone, will it still be available to me on my phone via the cloud?
The same is true for photo's. I have too many photo's on my phone taking up space. Now I realize I can remove a lot of the photo's via sync options, but ...This can happen if iTunes gets confused about what is and isn't on the device. These steps should resolve.
Backup the device.
Restore as a new device.
Restore the backup made earlier.

I have all my music on my iPod ( which includes music from all my cd's that I bought from retail stores and I no longer have), if I back it up to ITunes will I lose it even though it is in iCloud ?
Also, I can not find any of my audio books that I bought and downloaded thru iTunes, why?For music purchased from iTunes you might be able to re-download it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
For music copied from CDs, and for purchases if you can't redownload them, then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from your iPod : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
There is also this page for syncing to a new computer (which, in effect, you will be) : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141
Where are you looking for the audiobooks ? They are currently a one-time only download from the store, so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for redownloading. If you don't have them on a backup nor on your iPod (if they are on your iPod then File > Devices > Transfer Purchases should copy them back to your computer's iTunes), then if they are still in the store then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
My PC computer was wiped (virus) including itunes. How do I transfer the many playlists and music on my ipod to the new re-installed itunes?? Ipod is synced to old itunes. I have all original music files on external hard drive. Please help?
New itunes is trying to wipe the ipod. But have many many playlists (many hours making) which I want to save. Any help would be appreciated. If you want to just extract the playlists from your iPod, plug it in iTunes. When it appears under devices, right->click on it and choose Export Playlists. Save them to a location such as your desktop and them import them into your library once you have copied and imported all of your music back into it.
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
