yes you can if there are GSM carriers in Mongolia. If your phone breaks, you will need to send it to somone you know in the US to bring it to Apple for repair.

Each country is a separate business. If Apple in Australia fixes a phone purchased in another country it reduces their profit. The good news is that Apple stores will frequently replace phones purchased in other countries under warranty, but they are not required to do so. Some countries are more liberal than others. India never does, for example.
Why don't you just buy it in Australia? The price difference can't be that great. -
I'm sorry I thought I was already doing that lol. Ok so I paid for more storage for my iCloud which was $3.99 but I'm releaizing that im going to have pay the $27.99 payment to get what I want I guess. So I would like to know if that payment can be stopped or forward to the other $27.99 payment I'll be making. I'm also not sure, but think I am lol, that if I were to pay the $27.99 if that applies to my iPhone and my iPad ? Or would that have to be two payments? Here's one way to install. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

I believe you mean to say that you wish to switch which country's iTunes Store you are accessing. Go to iTunes Store > Change Country (all the way at the bottom) to do this. You'll have to use up all of your iTunes balance to do this. Post back if this is not what you wanted to do.

Is there google maps data available for Chad, Africa ? I am trying to see where a relative is who works for an Non profit organization there, i have the privacy agreement to do so. Unlocking an iPhone 5 bought from Apple, locked to Orange
Hi all, hope someone here can help me.
I bought my mum a 2nd hand iPhone 5 for Chrsitmas. The phone was bought from Apple directly so was unlocked but the bloke used his contract Orange sim in it for a few weeks. That sim is no out of contract and the bloke has left them.
My mum wants to use her 3 PAYG sim in it but Orange have now locked it which seems harsh seeing as the phone was never in contract with them, just the sim was.
I have submitted a form through Orange/EE website to get it unlocked which can take up to 20 days. As the phone number used to lock the phone is no longer in use I'm just wondering how this works now? I've had an email confirmation to say they ahve recieved the request and to await a further email in 20 days.
Can we not take the phone to Apple to get it unlocked or do we have to wait for Orange? Seems silly that they have sim locked it even thought the phone was never on contract with them.
Hope this has made sense to someone and that someone can hopefully give me some advice!ONLY Orange can unlock it.
