I have been locked out of my ipod for to long and i cant get it back, how can i fix it?

i have recently found my old ipod generation 3 i have been looking for, for about 2 years now, but there is one problem. it says i am locked out for approximatly 22million minutes, which will obviously be too long to wait for. does anyone have a solution to get back into the ipod without completely reseting the ipod and deleting all of its data?
